Professor Seid Hassan should be man of the year. He has consistently exposed the TPLF murders with facts and analysis that everyone of us can understand.

Isaias Afework hands down!
Berehanu Nega(Dr) is the best person of the year!
I think the principled Asayas Aforki of Ereteria would be a good one. That is in addition to our Elias for he seems to be a man of principle as well.

1. Kibur Engineer Hailu Shawel
– A dedicated true Ethiopian patriot.A leader of the Ethiopian people who with remarkable past and honor strives to the unity of Ethiopia and remained the only loyal servant of the mainstream Ethiopian people after the ginbot 1997 popular movement. He is still working hard in Ethiopia especialy in Addis with a peaceful grassroots activity. His young brave Patriots in Addis Ababa were distributing pamplets and singing patriotic song around bole on thursday and continuing.what a popular dedicated effort.Unlike berhanu nega who gone away from the people, and bertukwan mideksa(the recent ‘Lidetwa’) who both betrayed the ethiopian struggle
2. Teddy Afro
Who inpired and united the Ethiopian poeople
well, i never voted before,,but i would say, yourself elias for proving yourself standing strong against the woaynne, and your superb news and services. i mean i voted as number one for u.so,
1-elias kifle
2-dr birhanu nega,,for being my hero,,and stand tall rather than kneeling down to woyane.
3-all G7 leaders.
thx
I suggest, His excellence Presdent Issaias Afeworki, the presdent of the state of Great Eritrea. For organizing the poor and voiceless people of Ethiopia to make, Tribalizem and poverty a history.
My second One would be Teddy afro, an Artist who spoke out his Patroitic feeling and concern of that ” IF you put a lipstic in a pig, a Pig is still a Pig.”
The Third one is a tough critisaization, for Our attlet Kenenisa. Here is what i believe. kenenisa he should domonistrate as could as he can to the free and fare justice for his admire and who gave him endelless support on the sport ground, Teddy afro. Kenenisa simple can do this, not to participate in any race untill tedy afro relaesed, from the Woyyana Jaill, because Teddy Afro did alot to him and his supporter. Apparently, Kenenisa is living in a palace with out even visiting his and our own brother Teddy Africa.
best regard!
Andargachew Tsegei
Obang Motho
Prof. Alemayehu G.M.
Dr. Seid Mohammed
Elias Kefle
for their clear vision in struglling against aparthide – colonial regime.

1 Berehanu Nega
2 Andargachew Tsige
3 Engeener Hailu Shawel
all of them are strong and polite, as my observation from the near distance.
First and foremost I nominate The Ethiopian People, who steadfastly refused to be dismembered and divided along narrow ethnic lines. Every weird strong or weak so called national liberation fronts assaulted the populace with barrages of hate and divisive innuendos since the early 60’s but the people did not oblige. Still it is telling these despotic narrow nationalist in power or in the bushes that there is a lot more benefit in unity than in being divided. The Oromos are telling it miscreants narrow nationalists that nothing is wrong with living with the Amaharas, Somalis, Afars, Sidamos, Kafichos, Gumuz, Tigreans and all the rest nationalities in Ethiopia. I say this populace deserves the top spot in the nomination. For the 2nd spot I nominate Professor Seid Hassen. This gentleman is well gifted and has learned enough from experience to tell us what is right and what should be avoided as wrong. I do not him know personally but I have read some of his articles on this and other websites. His articles well organized and written in a way that they can be understood by anyone who can read and understand the English language. He is an excellent communicator. I hope one day I will have the privilege of meeting him in person. God Bless Him and His Family. I believe Kenenisa and Tirunesh deserve to share the 3rd spot.
God Bless You All !!!!!
ABEBE BELEW, period.
Zeray Dres for becoming martyr in defense of the Ethiopian flag and a model patriotism.
Ato Andargachew Tsigie. He is a courageous, confident, optimistic and above all a political savvy.
tamgne beyene
for his strong devotion to Ethiopia.
Birtukan Medeksa
This has been done before, it doesn’t have to be person of the year all the time, besides it makes an individual seem more important than he or she is.
I nominate the heroes who have picked up arms and are daily challenging the Woyanne junta. As we know Woyanne has a huge military supported by all the western powers, while the Ethiopian FREEDOM FIGHTERS are confronting this fascist military with only the weapons they have in their possession and are daily arming new recruits by weapons captured from Woyanne mercenaries. Their leaders are heroes too but no one person or group of people can affect the desired change for the people of Ethiopia.
The Eritrean President Issayas Afewerki for standing solo with struggle for the liberation of the Ethiopian and Somali people when the whole world gave up on them. His principled stand on issues of justice and fairness is unmatched in the annals of African history.
He is guided by principles and not by simple political calculations or gains. All progressive Ethiopian and Somali forces look at him for guidance and leadership. His moral standing is the Agazzi’s worst nightmare and a severe headache to the CIA and MI6.
Berhanu Nega (Dr)
Birtikan Mideksa
Prof AL Mariam
Tamagne Beyne is unambiguous Ethiopian. He demonstrates his Ethiopianism with passion in a numerous Ethiopian events.
Here is the list:
Al-Shabab leader,(Somalia)
Esayas Afewerki (Eritrea)
ONLF leader
OLF Leader
Ato Leul Qesqis. This man was elected by more than 200,000 ethiopians representing kinjit. He left the weyane puppet parlama, crossed the desert, rivers and border on foot to eritrea and joined the ethiopian peoples patriotic front to start the resistance struggle against the TPLF regime. He has been assigend to organize ethiopians in Diaspora to support EPPF and will be back soon to the front. He didnt fly out of ethiopia by airplane like berhanu nega or birtukan mideqsa. He did it on foot by travelling day and nights in the jungles. Ato Leul does not beleive that TPLF transfer power to the people peacefully. He should be the person of the year!
Ethiopians should start Telefon and FAX protest campaign. PLEASE call all weyane embassies and protest the release of Political Prisoners in Ethiopia including Teddy Afro. There are more than 20,000 Political prisoners held at Dedessa, Ziway, Dedessa, Qaliti, Bado Zero, Shewa Robit etc..prisons. Ethiopains are still intimidated and imprisoned. Protest the implementation of the 8 preconditions as demanded by ethiopian people. All Weyane embassies and consulates in USA and Europe and Africa should be called. Additonally we should also send them fax or emails! Please spread the word. tell all your friends. You can also send Fax.

I think Isseias Afwerki should be man of the year. When all the opposition groups are changing courses, degrees and even parties and are becoming more TPLF servants, the only man who has never changed a single beat of a direction towards his stance with the TPLF junta is Isseyas. When all our nieghbours are giving deaf ears to our sufferings and day to day hardships that is waged against us by the TPLF junta, only Isseyas is trying to do something about it. He, along his poeple, is walking the walk and not just talking tha talk.
Demeke Mekonnen of EPRDF, since he is uplifting him self from regional officer to minister position for his favour of woyane in granting tsegedes(gondar) land to tigray and armachihos and quaras to sudan.
EPPF, shold be the one because currently they are the only Fighters and real hope who are on the real field fighting with Woyane to bring about fredom and united Ethiopia. So let us show them soldarity by making them the best oof the year.
Together with EPPF we will win
God bless Ethiopia
Alemayehu Gebremariam(Pr
Ethiopian review’s person of the year should be chosen by its readers, not by the board. Your choice will be no more than your propaganda.
I chose Ato Elias kifle for his honesty and his hard work day and night to give us information what is going on in our homeland
teddy afro
Barak Obama,
For showing us a smart way of campaigning and inclussivness of all

Very hard to pick from those who stand on their principles/issues. they are all great, but Let’s give a chance to Issaias Afwerki, for hope and change and the horn leave peace. I wish he will be the one.
Isays Afewerki,
with out his assistance our strugle would have been impossible.
A tie between Berhanu Nega and Andargatchew Tsige for starting Ginbot 7. Period.
A very important step had to be taken in the Ethiopian struggle for democracy, and these two men (I am sure in collaboration with other great thinking Ethiopians) converted it into reality! If it wasn’t for their break with the tradition of Ethiopian politicians to stay in one place and regurgitate the same thing for years and decades, our future would be doomed. They present a comprehensive analysis of the troubles our country faces, and offer a creative and logical solution!
And I am more than sure that this organization they have created will make something huge happen in our country soon. Whereas that will be joyful for many, it will embarassing for the critics and specially for those of us who have not helped the organization’s works.
If we discard our biases and egos behind, and use our common sense to guide us to reach a fair and just conclusion, the logical choice would certainly be the only and only principled and courageous Eritrean President Isyas Afewerki. He has a commanding presence when he speaks and means what he says. This requires guts and principle.
NO one I mean NO ONE in this year shall be named the person of the year in Ethiopia.
issayas afeworki person of the year
Tirunesh Dibaba and Kenenisa
itis better to place issayas afewerki inthe first place who helped the somalis to be organized and liberate their country and is continuing the same to all ethiopian poletical partys to fight against woyanye for unity and freedom .This is the courageous man who stands against colonizers specially in the horn.He desrves everything. Then EPPF…and last but not least Elias kifle who is doing his best to inform the poletical affaire of the horn
dr berhnu nega b/c he is the real deal.
No one made a difference of any significance but if we were to judge based on mediocrity and obstructionism I would say Shawel’s group broke the record. The clowns in Diaspora room are depressingly idiotic and justify the IQ of 67 bestowed on them. May God save us from these vermin.
My top three picks are:
1. Tedy Afro for his sacrifice
2. Mr Obang for his peaceful movement to the United Ethiopian Soliditary. He is the hope of the future to unite ethiopians from every ethnic corner
3. Lidetu Ayalew for his consistence, balanced and peaceful struggles for years
The principled Eritrean leader, President Isiass Afewerki, for being the conscience of Africa. He is the pride of Africa.
I think the Eritrean leader Essayas Agwerki should be Man of the year. I know he is not Ethiopian but he contributed for our struggle more than any body else. Look what he did in Somalia even he said,” the war just started. Weyane is entering to quick mire.” at that time everybody was laughing at him but look. Elias will have a problem if he honored Essayas Afewerki Man of the year the wayane agents will say Ellias’s aunt is Eritrean(you know they are number one liars and they don’t repeat what they say. Like Sium Mesfin told us Badme was awarded to Ethiopia.) My second option is Ellias Kifle for being a great worrier in the cyberspace.
Kinijit lezalalem y’Nur. Amen!!!!
