Eliase,
I have seen the first part of the debate. All I can say is that the Genbare host is Nugussie weldemariam in the making. Eliase, you have to bear in mind that weyanes are conducting the business of destracting the Diaspora through very sophisticated methods and one of those methods is to clandestinely financing Ethiopians in the media in the US ad other western nations. The deal is that they could maintain their seemingly outwardly opposition to Weyane regime but inwardly work to stifle the opposition movement in the Diaspora by sowing the seeds of doubt: These are some of the methods used by those fifth columnists which was vividly exhibited by your host in this interview:
One of their main strategies they employ is to ridicule any force that strives to struggle to restore Ethiopia’s dignity by fighting the vampire regime in Addis in a language it understands. Some of the lame and distractive reasons they evoke are: those forces are supported by Eritrea and Eritrea has always ill wish toward Ethiopia so those Ethiopian forces like EPPF and others shouldn’t be supported. I am sure you have seen how your host was passionately arguing by exploiting the weak points of EPPF to solidify his opposition to forces that could pose real threat to Meles. Mind you in the past, they never dared to oppose armed struggle per se but they were trying to put obstacles by bringing Eritrea and so on. Now that propaganda seems not bear fruit and now they are coming out rebranding the “peaceful mode of struggle”. I am sure you noticed hen the Genbare host was trying to corner you by asking what EPPF has produced the last seven years and so on.
So the person you were dealing with in this interview is not a journalist but an EPRDF view promoter! Sometimes he couldn’t help to passionately argue for Meles’ Ethiopians and his glorious victory in Somalia and so on and only to realize that he is supposed to be a “neutral ground promoter journalist” and start reminding his audience that he as not supporting “EPRDF”. So all in all, the man is a vey dangerous hidden Weyane view promoter. That is how Biniam Kebede of Ethiopianfirst.com evolved , by being fifth columnist and changing his color like chameleon to finally come out from closet as Weyane-propoganda chief in Toronto and in the media under the cover of promoting neutral media ground!!
Now the so called Andnet is a ne vehicle to hoodwink the Diaspora into believing that a change could be achieved through lame opposition that lives under the mercy of meles. I am sure Andenet will produce nothing more that of Dr. Paulos and others..
Elaise to sum up, next time don’t place yourself into a trap prepared like that of by the Genbare host. This fifth columnists should be regarded as enemies not people you could sit and talk so they could find a forum to distract the Diaspora from the main enemy weyanes and its elks. Overall, you did a good job! and it high time the real fighters to expand their main media forums than rely on those fifth columnist media outlets!
wow i just lesened elias kifle interview on etn wow he is smart man he is fighting weyana by aneyminse nesesary malcolma x keep show us ur thing we prowed of you
When our only source of information, Mr.Elias was intervied on ETN not too long ago, I found the interviewer, Mr. Gizaw to be lousy and despicable person. I don’t call him a journalist at all. He is just a foolish and irrational person. How can he raise a question about Woyane’s ENEMITY to Ethiopian people. May be he is not a victim of Woyane. But the vast majority of Ethiopians who are on the receiving end of Woyanes atrotcities very well know that Woyane is our enmeny. Mr. Gizaw please do not be block head and stupid!!
As usual you revealed the facts about woyanne, but you became slightly harsh on UDJP because you have to understand the situation they are in. Do u want them to go to jail again? They showed the way and it is up to the people to react when they face obstacles like the one you mentioned about the flyers. Woyanne becomes more agressive and supressive by looking the poor reaction or being scary or ‘firhat’ of the people. Whatever stand the opposition parties have they can’t achieve unless the people are commited for reaction, riot, disobidience and fierce struggle. So, the medias like yours should play a role in initiating and mobilizing the public to stand against the tribalist junta (woyanne) rather than accusing these party leaders.
elias u did great job this is the first time saw u on tv u look like king tewdros lol u did good job but the one interve with u i think he dosen’t have more information ethiopan politics he is 100% sporter of weyana i think u and me we have more in comman the one u make me lough was mlese he is not ethiopa even he never been ethiopan national day u give him exampl he never dance ethiopan music even for ethiopan milliniam he danc by sudan music that one funy lol
I saw the first part of the interview. Elias stood his ground including explaining why he considers Meles a “none Ethiopian”. The interviewer in my opinion forwarded the views of some Ethiopians including mine therefore, I don’t consider his opinion comes only from a “fifth column”.
I am sure such thought can evolve without being a “fifth column”.
Endargachew in his last interview has labored in showing the weakness of just “peaceful mode of struggle”. It’s obvious that more work on the subject is needed
Elias’s interview was addressing similar kind of thought. It is a formidable thought but even Elias needs to work more on his argument and presentation; I observed weakness on the thesis flow. His stood his ground but his ideas need to be more refined.
It’s not a simple concept as some of you assume and jump on slandering folks. Additional explanation on the topic is necessary.
Mr. Eliase you did a great job!!! you are a true son of Ethiopia and a great journalist.
Elias you were not articulating your point view as your written argumnents which appears in your articles. The host was doing a slopy interview laughing and downgrading as if you do not understand issues.you are smart with ultra nationalist right wing Ethiopianist point of view .Try to change your self to well read liberal nationalist point view and learn how compermise tactically with your enemy .I admire your dedictions but also expose your self to others point view .
I wached Eliase’s interview for the second time.Elias is consistent and confident with his views,he even was doing much better than the ETN’S MR Gizaw.By the way Mr Gizaw never been prepared to conduct interview becaus: he has no facts and records of Elias’s articles, his question were not organized in a maner to challenge Elias.
Elias is a courageous person when it comes to criticizm to others, but he lacks journalistic ethics,he mises the very point why he is opposing Woyane,he calls the poor Ethiopian soldiers ( LEHOD YDERU) and so on.Niether Elias nor Gizaw had substances in their argument,no principle ,no logic.
Elias hates Woyane and workes only to bring down Woyane by any means available and doesn’t care about what will happen later.
Elias
if you can, please post on your web site all the discussions.
We may not have chance to watch on ETN.
Thanknyou
