Dictator Meles Zenawi receives treatment for blood cancer

Ethiopia’s khat-addicted dictator Meles Zenawi has been diagnosed with blood cancer and is receiving treatment at a Belgium hospital, according to Ethiopian Review Intelligence Unit sources. Berhane Gebrekiristos and Teodros Adhanom, both close confidants of Meles Zenawi and senior members of the ruling party Woyanne, are currently functioning as acting prime-ministers.

ESAT has reported that Meles Zenawi’s appearance in the parliament has been pushed by one week, adding credibility to the report about the dictator’s declining health.

When Meles appeared at the G-20 meeting in Mexico last month he looked terribly sick and seemed to have lost a lot of weight.

The late Mr. Jobs was meeting with executives of The New York Times when he suddenly lost consciousness and fell from his seat. Meles is risking similar episodes if he decides to appear more and more in public. Mengistu appears to outlive both Afewerqi and Zenawi.

    We all due respect, Mengistu is the same if not worst. A serial killer and blood sucker coward. He out living Meles or Afewerki is not something to celebrate. It is a sad tragedy. Second, I am a fierce opponent of Zenawi and his regime; however, it is so foolish and childish to dance on someone sickness [even Meles]. Instead of waiting for his natural death, we should have fought back and seize our country back long time ago and then dance with joy. Praying for his death will not take us nowhere because there are several Woyane clones are available to jump in and forward his torch. The strength of the Woyanes are not their own but they effectively used our weakness to their gain. We checked out long time ago and became such comics.     Actually you can survive with Leukemia. You can do Bone Marrow Transplant finding match from other people. However, if it rejects it, then the fatality is high which is death of course. So, with the amount of money Meles has, of course his chance of survival and finding quick donor and with good quality of care, he will be ok. Whether he lives or not, I hope this transforms him to better person. After all evil people can transform when they go through suffering because it is lesson for them.

  30. Ethiopian Review, can you confirm that which type of Leukemia does he has? Acute or Chronic? If he has acute Leukemia he may survive up 4-6 monthes. If it is chronic he may survive up to 5 years.

  34. Now is the time to open their minds for the other party members within the EPRDF, the Amara, Oromo, and those from the Sothern people to elect a non tigrean PM. They should be brave to know that the TPLF doesn’t own the PM post. If Hailemariam Desalegne replaces Meles he should form his own cabinate of Ministers, he has to choose his own defence minister then the Defence Minister will dismantle the TPLF generals and colenels one by one so that the Ethiopian people would be represented fairly in every spher of the government. No specific ethinic group should monoplize the power and wealth of the country. The Amharas (excluding the fake amhara Bereket/Mebrahtu), Oromos & the southerners combined together have the majority of the votes than the TPLF members if they have going to elect a new PM within the EPRDF. It is sure the TPLF will try to divide and rule games within the EPRDF so as to take the PM post for a Tigrean, but the other EPRDF members should be cautious and brave in this one, this is their only chance to take the dominant power from the Tigreans.

    2.Robbery
    3.Murder

    Obviously,Zinawi is wealthy but not healthy.The adage says,money is not everything but health.The other famous adage says,what comes around goes around.Ethiopians vividly remember what zinawi actually said in public after he gave the order and jailed the commandable daughter of Ethiopia,Birtukan Medeksa,and left her to go through unimaginable suffering as a result of soft torture,which is more lethal than phyusical torture for good number of monthes,he then came out public and mocked at Ethiopians and global communities telling,”She has pumped up weight and is well.” He really meant it to tell Ethiopians to figure out the wax an the gold out of his saying.

    As it turned out,Zinawi,the murderer has lost all of the components that made his body,and had reached the point of no return.He even hates to look up what had been left of him.The current condition that zinawi is in is just the beginning,the worst yet to come soon.

    Meles has always resented Ethiopia, calling the flag “cherq new”, so most likely he may or may not be buried in Ethiopia since he resented Ethiopia. I think he will be hero for Tigrayans and Eritreans so he will be buried under their flag most likely. Even though Eritreans resent him today, I am sure they appreciate him for seceding Eritrea from Ethiopia.
