Ethiopian culture and music icon Mahamoud Ahmed and another Ethiopian music legend Tsehaye Yohannes were among some of the many artistes who participated in the Ethiopian Sports Federation North America’s (ESFNA) Ethiopian Day program Friday night in Dallas. The video below shows Mahamoud Ahmed playing “Ethiopia Hagerachin” (Ethiopia our country) to the mostly young crowd.

  1. Thank you all Ethiopians who pioneer Ethiopianism, equality and equity. I am definatly shur next year we will celebrate in Addis Ababa because the dictator regime (TPLF) will be thrown away sooner.

  2. Singing and journalism should not be affiliated with any kind of political view point, having said what they did is doing their job nothing to brag about it.

Why do you think expressing love for one’s country is a political statement?

    Ethiopiawiw replies:

why do you need to use the word “brag” then? Well your name implies who you are, just looser huh, what a nice name you have. Looser.

    Tuffa replies:

    Indeed, you are a looser!

    Ahadu replies:

You are for sure a looser

  3. No clue where this so called “I am not interesting in politics” came from. I am not politician is as much political, nobody can be fooled by this kind of statement. There is no neutral place to reside without being affected by woyanee. Either you benefit from it or get hurt by it. Those hurt by it whether they are in Ethiopia are outspoken protestors against ethnic junta in Ethiopia, and those TPLF supporters who are raping the country because they belong to tigre tribe they have more than one reason to defend it. Those who are enjoying their FREFARE as their right although deep down they know they are cheating themselves when they lie to keep their frefary intact. Those kind are sewer of all creatures. The day of reckoning will come soon and the unity that was shown in Dallas is a turning point to reclaim our dignity.

  5. May God give Elias Blood cancer!! That is what he wished to others and he will get that!!!!

    nini replies:

Elias Netuhe Ethiopiaw new we love u Elias long life ….. Mote le Woyane ena le kaderawochu ………..

    Ethiopian replies:

Elias might have wished Blood Cancer to a mass murderer Meles Zenawi who happens to be a cancer against our country and people but you just wished a deadly disease to an innocent young Ethiopian who fights with a dictator in favor of his country without spilling anybody’d blood, so my friend, YOU should worry about yourself of getting something even worse.
    Ignorant doma ras.
