Meles Zenawi regime’s propaganda chief Bereket Simon released a 4-part documentary video this week that accuses journalists and opposition politicians of plotting to carry out terrorist acts (One only needs to read what the U.S. Gov’t says about who is the real terrorist – click here).

The star witness of Bereket’s fictitious docudrama is popular actor and member of the opposition UDJ Party. The video shows Artiste Debebe talking about various plots and the discussions he had with me and Dr Berhanu Nega. I cannot speak for Dr Berhanu, but none of what Debebe said about me is true. It’s a total fabrication. After hearing what Debebe had to say, I was convinced that he must have been tortured or some thing real bad had happened to him to say all the things he said, because no such conversation had taken place.

Yesterday, members of the Ethiopian Review Intelligence Unity in Addis Ababa sent me a report confirming what I had suspected. According to the report, Meles Zenawi’s deputy head of security, Esayas Woldegiorgis, gave a script to Debebe Eshetu to study and repeat in front of cameras every thing in the script in a convincing way or else his grand children and other members of his family will be sodomized with a bottle. This information is according to a close member of Debebe Eshetu’s family. Debebe has complied and understandably so. I’d do the same thing if I were in his position. There is no heroism in unnecessarily subjecting one’s grand children and other helpless family members to torture and sodomy by Woyanne hyenas. The people of Ethiopia understand that any thing that comes out of Bereket Simon’s lie factory is a lie. Only gullible individuals believe the Woyanne propaganda. Debebe Eshetu remains an Ethiopian hero in my view.

Torturing and sodomizing political prisoners is not a new practice for the Woyanne junta. Various international human rights organizations, and recently Wikileaks, have documented the horrific tortures inside Ethiopian prisons. Among the journalists who have recently been arrested, Woubshet Taye, for example, has been beaten up to the point of losing his hearing, according to his wife.

Sodomizing opponents, which is foreign to Ethiopian culture, is a method that Meles brought from his country Yemen. Victims of sodomy are extremely traumatized and that they are too ashamed to tell even those closest to them. In recent past, at least two prominent opposition politicians I know of who had been subjected to sodomy. I will not mention their names to keep their privacy. But in time, they themselves may be willing to talk about it in public so that the perpetrators face justice.

By the way, Zenawi and his cohorts have been murdering defenseless people for the last 25 years. As long as the victims were buried in the bushes and valleys of Ethiopia in the absence of mass media, Zenawi could hide his atrocities from many Ethiopians and the world public. Now that his acts of barbarism are taking place in a metropolis in broad day-light, Zenawi is trying to justify the massacre by ordering the inhabitants of many Ethiopian .

    Anyhow, the struggle for democracy and justice would flourish as well as getting strong whenever the Tigrian ethno-apartheid rulers use their brute force to suppress the voice of the people. And do not expect those whose Allah given freedom & democracy stolen by the narrow few Tigreans remains indolent & passively accept your brute act. Aside from all these crimes , the blood of Ogaden, Gurage, Amahra, Oromo & other Ethiopians is still on the hands of tplf criminal members, and of course the Tigrain tribal rulers would be hunted like the German Nazi, Gestapo and SS mercenaries and face judgment in front of the people they slaughtered. And of course nothing heal such deep wound unless seen the perpetrators face justice and hung in public.

    There is no doubt that Debebe was threatened or tortured in a very inhuman way; otherwise he would not act the way he acted.
    I say this because I have seen his courage when he was imprisoned and after he was released. I know him very well that he is not scared of dying or loosing any thing.
    He did not do or say whatever he did or say in ETV for his own safety.
    This coward and merciless people, for sure have done unimaginable things to him.

    Lets be genuine here. Had there been no such communications between you and Debebe, you could have told us by the time you posted the video. That time, you simply begged your readers not to go ballistic against Debie. You are combative and know to use all the facts to defend you stand, and it is not your type to let that story go without any objections. Therefore, if you come up with a denial after a week, it would be an ammunition for your opponents, if not the embarrassment for activists.

    Yes, Debie (for some unknown reason) has damped uncomfortable facts on you and funny realities on Dr. Berhanu. That was a fact and of course, candid. Probably, it is a blessing for woyanne. In my opinion, Debie didn’t know he was on camera, especially on the side issues he addressed.

    Elias; there are things that you could control, cover up or defend. Like wise, there are things that are undeniable and unrecoverable. Trying to cover up something as clear as Debies words on that recording is attempting to insult the intelligence of your captive audience.

    It is not new for us that Woyane’s and their Marxist master Melles’s way of doing things is based on the ideals of Enver Hoxha’s Stalinist-Albanian brand as a model.     Why are you guys crying because what you think and do is being told by ETV. You are terrorists who are working hard against the people of Ethiopia by cooperating with the shaebian Isayas followers.
