  1. Ethiopia needs more of Elias Kifle’s. It takes determination and commitment to run ER for close to 2 decades in the on and off moods of Ethiopian politics. ER has become a temperature of Ethiopian politics.

But I have reservations on ETN. First, ETN’s openings before they start their programs are often irritating and boring. Why they need to flash “ginbar” “ginbar…ginbar” dozens of times like some 2 minutes before they start some 16 minutes interview? It is boring as well as irritating.

Second, ETN journalist’s interview of Elias is second rate. It focused on conspiracy theory than addressing real issues. It sounded like gossip journalism than real journalism that addresses the core issues of ER and Ethiopia.

    Congratulations Elias!

  2. The interviewer looked like he is on defense of Kuma Dmeqsa. It is hard to trust this corrupted and useless old generation. There are so many burning issues to discus, yet he spent the cream of the interview time on the donkey Kuma.

Well done Elias…teach this useless oldies

  3. Elias, i am 100 % agree with you do not hesitate to say Black is black or white is white yemen meshefafen NEWU. GOBEZ EWENETUN TENAGRO YEMESHEBET MADER NEWU!

  4. Dear Mr Eliyas Ilook the part one the other part 2,3,4, i can´t find where is the place?
pleace bring it in your web page here.
at last I am very prud you, good job
    thanks

  5. Elias, you looks coward and insane who eager to power with folse and unfounded propogandas and by collabrateing with the Eritrean brutal dictator just for the sake of personal interest.
May God extend his wisdom to you so that one day you will wake up.

  6. Wow! it is Elias. I don’t beleive. It is surprise a man like Elias is engeging himself in a fruitless campagn while he has a goog health who can work and improve him self. It think it is a sin from his family.
Please leave your ER and try to work as other Ethiopian do in US.
Kewere Yelewum fre. You don’t need to compute for power with Zenawi. Do your own bussiness freely inside the free Country-US

  7. Elias..Are you stupid to sit down for interview that will hurt what you are doing now? Oh my God!!! It is terrible. You did not give a plausible answer to what the host was asking you about using the term ‘donkey’ against Kuma. I think many others were telling you before to be civil in attacking your opponents no matter how bad they are. Look at how Obama and Hillary are conducting their election campaign. Obama did not call her a bitch and Hillary did not call him a nigger. I can understand that you are a very hard-working compatriot but don’t forget one of our very well respected values and national treasure. Civility. I don’t want to see you being called ‘agdimo addeg’

  8. Elais,

I watched your interview. You made two points.

    1) You said are fair and you give chances to opposite point views. But you only accepts points that fits your view.

    2) Regarding Eritrea, you said you were publishing views of of those for unity and against. But you still promote shabias agenda.

    Why do you contradict yourself?

Every Ethiopian knows that shabia and woyane are the same who are enemies of Ethiopia. You seem to be supporting one enemy and attacking another enemy of Ethiopia. I say you are full of it.

  9. hi
You have given him the right name.Kuma is not only Donky he is also “Agases” . We know him, he is not oromo people(fake) and ethiopia but he is “banda” .I agree with your idea and he is acting like animal .

  10. You have revealed yourself. You are not matured enough to be an editor. You are totally blinded by baseless hatred. You are fit to be neither an editor nor a politician.

  11. Winning struggle is fearless. Calling that spinless “kuma demeksa” a DONKEY is a very modest expression. i give a donkey 10 points out of 10 while “kuma” deserves -10 points out of 10.

What is the matter with that interviewer repeating and torturing his own self while sweating to save and advocate for a shameless “kuma?”

  12. Elias, there was no substance in your interview. Convince us how you are different. If journalism is just to insult or publish totally opposite to government’s policy, I better change my profession then. Hey, show us the way to think and critize seriously for the better of the country not for inviduals.

  13. Elias Kifle is one of us, he is not one strange fanatic huaman being, he never bend for woaynes propaganda, he is the man who stands firmly on prinicple, God bless you man! Keep good work!

  14. Elias I do not know which school of journalism you went but journalism is not what you defined; may be your definition works for tabloids whose motive is to attract readers at any cost like the way Meles tries to maintain his power.
For me you have answered the question; your web site is described by your behavior. It is the genetic duplication of yourself. Calling someone a donkey does not give sense for me. I do not understand the problem with donkey, it is the most productive and helpful animal. It has played great role in improvement of human life even better than you. It gives more assistance to community than you ( Elias). This is a feudal culture; I do not know how you keep it until now. You may like to be called a lion but I have not seen a lion doing good to human than a donkey. We are in the 21 century we need to make changes.

On your side I see a great deal of strength. You are not a simple person. You have energy, commitment and perseverance. You are also stubborn and stupid you think you know everything; that is not true you have to be ready to learn from others. Read the comments written on your web site most of them want you to change your presentation. if you think the web site is for the public, you have to change.

  15. There is no need whatsoever to give Kuma Demeksa likes human place and respect. Kuma is not just a donkey but a pig too. He is one of idiotic and barbaric beasts. Be it under his nominal or real power, when Kuma was Minister of Interior and head of Oromia region, tens of thousands of Ethiopians fell victims to TPLF gangs and their hired guns. Thus, there is no sin in calling a spade a spade.

Of course, two groups of people cannot stand Elias. First, bloody thirsty TPLF gangs and their hired ‘donkeys’, who live on abusing and spilling blood of innocent Ethiopians. Second, the “we-know-it-all” group, who have a tendecny to reject every good thing that is not done by them. In between, the majority of Ethiopians have no problem with Elias. Rather, the majority cherishes Elias likes who consistently stood up against the barbaric TPLF regime through thick and thin.
As to some changes Elias has made over the last 17 years, the answer is simple: nothing is constant but change. And there is no successful political agenda that fail to mold itself with what ensues on the ground and changing political realities in Ethiopia. Perspectives follow reality. Rigidity is no winner in political writings. ER is, by and large, a political mouth piece of voiceless Ethiopians.

  16. Well Done Elias.. Great Job.

Donkey is an animail who cannot think .

    That is Great Answer.

    We are with you!!

Don’t worry for the oldies who failed our country

    They are failed generations

  17. Elias, you should be just as happy with the negative comments just as you are with the positive. The reason being you know you are doing something right!

    Keep it up bro!

  18. This is my first time to see Elias Kifle photo. I always admired his passion to stand for truth, never to be baught by thugaru baby killers. Elias have resisted woyannes abuses at every level. His interview with ETN have shown us, his genuine

unshakable stands on issues, and he is very hansome too.
Elias can make excellent first president in democratic Ethiopia, the day asshole woyanne’s kicked out of country they occupy by force.

God bless our bright journalists, freedom fighters be it from any affiliation.

Keep up your handsome works Elias, keep smiling, keep shinning, even on sad, gloomy days, best of Ethiopia is coming.

  19. Elaise, I was very happy to see you make a fool out of yourself, actually you were very lucky…if it was me doing the questioning Dear Elaise you would of hate yourself, but then again I still beleive you have exposed your true nature to our diaspora community.

  20. As God blessed, the heaven and the Earth, so did the Donkey. The donkey has been from among the most blessed animal as it witnessed the birth of jessus Christ.

Bandas and Askaris don’t like the donkey simply and chiefly because it is a hard working animal.

As Elias Kifle put it or said it on his interview, quote: woyanae calls Oromos and Amharas Donkey. Being called a donkey seems an insult;but,it is not in our view.

Well, being Askaris and Banda is the most deadly sin from among the seven ones. God Bless The Ptriots of Ethiopia.
