With all its modernized army and financial might, even America, considered the only super power in the world, could not win the Iraq war. How can this Meles Seitanawi with his demoralized army, depleted economy, inferior technology, and low popular support try to win a war on three frontlines: Somalia, Ogaden, and Eritrea? In Somalia the freedom fighters are closing the gap and taking town after town, and each time they take a town, three or ten Woyanne soldiers are killed, their vehicles destroyed, their camps raided, and their ammunition carried away, and that is why some Ethiopian army generals defect to another country when they see that they don’t have any better future with Meles Seitanawi, so they choose to abandon their posts and take refuge in Eritrea or somewhere else.

Though they do not have a proven standing army of their own, though their houses are burned down, their boys and daughters are being slaughtered, their properties are completely annihilated, and their communities are dubbed traitors and Somalians, the people of Ogaden are still fighting against Woyanne’s invading army and merciless generals. The Ogaden people, like Somalia, are not recognized by the world community as independent nation; they are part of Ethiopia, but they want to be recognized as good and law-abiding citizens of Ethiopia; they want their dignities and human rights be respected by the brutal regime of the Woyanne political party. Finally, they want to have their own self-determination for their destinies as independent human beings.
On the Eritrean war front, it seems Eritrea is ready to engage with the Woyanne army or at least is trying to test how strong Woyanne at this time is since he is already running two wars with Somalia and Ogaden. Eritrea thinks Woyanne at this time is weak and could not win the war if the war between Eritrea and Ethiopia starts right now. For example, why did the two Eritrean farmers driving their two tractors crossed the border? Were they defecting to Ethiopia, or they just wanted to incite a fight between Ethiopia and Eritrea?
