YES WE CAN! ia a slogan I already know from Eritrea, the Eritreans say YIKAALO. Meaning everything is possible, and yes we can do it! Obama’s message, “YES WE CAN!” Not only that Obama is the best qaulified person to lead America and raise it from the kind of mess America is in. But also show to the world that in America it is possible to elect anyone based on qualifications, regardless of what the color or back ground of the person is.
Elect Obama not because of his skin color, but because of his judgment (oppose Iraq war from the begining), experience as a community organizer (help poor people), lawyer (stand for truth), Senator (ethic reform), his legislation in Illionis (many legsilation), knows conflict resolution more than Clinto and McCain.

I just want to say there is no one like Obama to understand people’s problems in the United States or in the world in general. A lot of people leave their country because of political and economic reasons. Africa is a rich Continent, we don’t need a helping hand, we just need to improve politically and economically even now for little improvement in some countries, a lot of people are moving back to their native countries. I believe Obama can make a difference by bringing peace in the world. No matter what the outcome is, Obama challenged and proved to the world how smart and intelligent he is. It amazes me that the Bush’s and Clinton’s couldn’t get enough of the White House. Who is next, Chelsea? We need to see a different face, we need change. YES WE CAN.
I am also an immmigrant who is very moved by Obama’s speech and dedication to change the world. I never liked to get involved in politics; coming from a distorted political evironment but i started really listening to this black guy who can inspire anyone, who can make us all unite and yes we can as you derrick put it.
