  1. Thanks melese, Here is yor fruit. Ethiopians has no respect in their home so they run, but face the same. This is your Legacy.I am afraid that you are duying with eat. Stuuborn, die hard. What measurment you need for your good governance only government false data. What explanation, and analysis would you use if you weyanes has seen this in Mingstus era.

Please my fellow Ethiopians , i think this is a wrath of God and let us pray more than ever so that we can have his mercy.
On one hand, our new king Melese Zenawie is burning us . On the other hand, our neighbours are becoming hostile to us. Where shall we go .
Oh The Lord, please ur Mercy

  3. Exposing their fragile bodies to the hostile elements, these exhausted souls without adequate food to eat and without enough water to drink, a bed to sleep upon, a blanket to cover their bodies, pillows to support their heads, and restroom to go to when they walkup from their sleeps are lying in an open field unprotected from wild beasts, dreaming perhaps about their homeland, their families, and their friends they have left behind. Of course, no one prevents them from dreaming, but the Meles regime is hindering them from achieving what they have been dreaming for a long time – to find a job in their homeland.

Meles Seitanawi may not have seen these humbling and belittling pictures, but the rest of the world have seen them and concluded that the Woyanne government is a government that has failed most of the Ethiopian people, that has neglected them, and at the same, it has refused to relinquish power to someone capable of governing its people and caring about its citizens.

  4. Dear Elias,

I don’t understand why you guy’s keep silent about the ethiopian muslim university students arrest while peacefully demonistrating in addis, bardar, jimma and awassa yesterday.

This is the problem I see in most of the media biased. If you are truely devoted for the journalism ethics you should be fair and unbaised. These people are struggling for the freedom as the others do so we should support them and they should be freed to excercise their religious obligation as we all want to have.

So Elias be independent, ethical and unbiased. People has the right to know.

I hope your web site should be the first to break this truth.

Thanks your website usual reader and contributor Nebyu.

  5. Dear Nebyu (#7),

Sometimes it is very hard to verify some of the events that are happening in Ethiopia. The Ethiopian Muslim students are not different from the other Christian or Jewish Ethiopian students: they are all brothers and sisters, and a very responsible news media like ER should carry this uncalled-for arbitrary arrest of these Ethiopian Muslim brothers and sisters by the Woyanne criminal gangs while they are expressing their grievances in a very civilized manner – demonstrating peacefully and orderly in their respective areas.

The Woyanne regime, as we all know, is like a blind power that does not distinguish between Muslims and Christians, between babies and adults, between men and women, between clergies and Imams. It is indeed a blind power that destroys everything in front of it; therefore, we have to pray to God to save our country from such power that has no boundary and limitation.
