Ethiopian man arrested for sending infected blood to Obama

CHICAGO, USA (The Cleveland Leader) – A Chicago man has been arrested for allegedly sending President Barack Obama and his staff envelopes containing HIV-infected blood in the hopes of killing or causing harm to them. A spokesman for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service said that this is only the second time that HIV-infected blood has been sent with malicious intent through the U.S. mail system.

According to court documents, Saad Hussein, an Ethopian refugee in his late 20’s, sent an envelope addressed to Barack Obama to offices of the Illinois government in Springfield, Illinois in the week’s leading up to his inauguration. Contained in the envelope was a letter with red stains, and an admission ticket for Obama’s election night celebration in Chicago’s Grant Park.

Court documents reveal that Hussein, who is on medication to treat mental illness, told the FBI that he is “very sick with HIV” and that he cut his fingers with a razor to bleed on the letter.

After the envelope was opened, Hazmat teams were called in. The offices of the Illinois Department on Aging, as well as the Department of Revenue were locked down for about two hours. 300 staff members were thus stuck in their offices.

Using his brother as an interpreter, Hussein told the FBI that he was an “admirer” of Obama. He also said that he was “seeking help from the government”, and that he was hoping to obtain tickets to the inauguration in Washington D.C.

  2. Doctoring a medicine, a drink, or a piece of bread with a lethal product and giving it to one’s enemy is rarely done in Ethiopia and perhaps carried out quite often and more effectively in other developed and underdeveloped countries.

    Nevertheless, Obama Hussein is not Saad Hussein’s or someone else’s enemy; Barack Obama is a friend of all Americans and has become the first black President of the United States to help his country and solve its economic hardships.

    In a war time, a desperate country uses biological weapons to defeat its enemy even though such deadly weapons are prohibited to be used on humans, but this Ethiopian man, out of his desperation to cure his mental illness and his HIV, did the opposite thing: he wanted to kill Obama, the friend of all people instead of killing his (Saad’s) enemy – the HIV through legal process, writing Obama a friendly letter, untainted with his HIV- infected blood and asking for help. How horrified Obama and his family would be when they heard for the first time such a malicious act against them by an African immigrant and at that by an Ethiopian man whose country is famous for its friendship with the United States and with other countries!

    Saad Hussein, as he hampered the letter with his HIV-tainted blood, has also tainted our Ethiopian names with such degrading crime that all Ethiopians must pray for this sick man and for many other people of the world who read such a sickening news to think that Ethiopia is a land of honest Muslims, Christians and Jews who never maliciously kill their leaders.

  4. It is the same “O”. Saad Hussein probably thinks that he is a moslem first and an Ethiopian second. But what Mr. Hussein may not understand is, by his silly actions, he is giving his religion (if he has one) a baaaad name.

    This reminds me some time ago, I was happy to locate a fellow “Ethiopian” here in the US only to be betrayed once my fellow countryman discovered a “Fellow” Muslim from Pakistan. He completely ignored me and happily carried his chit chat with his newly discovered “Soul” friend. Hey, with people of the like of Mr Hussein, who needs alQaida?

  8. mami, i agree with you. dedeb is the right word. out of all the people who hate Obama, why it has to be this stuped Ethiopian guy. this is the worst was to be notest in this nation. He must be a crack head how been here too long and don’t know what to do.
