  1. Folks:

Donkeys are very industrious and loyal beasts of burden serving humanity in their capacity regardelss of race, religion, ethnicity, gender, colour, region, class, wealth status, etc. It can qualify for heroes gold medial if only there is justice for all.

Genocidal human’s and their appologetic servants and supporters? International and national criminal courts of justice.

  2. Dear Elias Kifle:
Publishing a picture of donkeys to represent the members of the Ethiopian Parliament serves no good purpose.

With all due respect to your efforts to rally the troops for justice and freedom, this really lowers the bar of your cause.

In my humble opinion the solution to the problem our homeland is facing can be addressed through respectful and dignified means.

I kindly recommend using non-provocative and non-demeaning means.

I support the people’s movement, but, some of your approach really undermines the real cause.

    With best wishes to you.

  3. Hahaha:

I think the donkeys are much better than Lidetu, Merara and Beyene. the rubber stamp parliament members are idiot enough to think TPLF will hand over power to the Ethiopian people. Surely they are there to eat left over from Meles and his TPLF ignorants.

The funny thing is there are many here defending the the hodams when they are represented as donkeys. What change did they made for Ethiopia sitting in the TPLF parliament as toys for the last 16 years? they know that they wouldn’t make any change.

Elias, your attempt to find something similar to them in this world is appreciated. in my beleif, donkeys are better than those hodams.

  4. Elias This is not funny.I respect your views;but think twice before putting something trash like this. There are peoples like me who supports Beyene and Merara.
My suggestion:You should better keep quit and don’t think that you are always right.

  5. Hi Elli,

I love donkeys…donkeys are very hard working and obedient animals. I don’t think the WOYANES would qualify to be a donkey…..don’t you have some pictures of PIGS which best represent Meles and his idiot colleagues.

  6. Pleease, Elias don’t be childish. I love visiting Ethio review for its serious reporting and its commitment to the opposition group. I hate to see Ethio review becoming as twisted as aiga forum.

  7. Dear ER,
I agree with the comments that donkeys are more by far better than those TPLF parliamentary beasts who betryed their mother land for their stomch.

These tplf marionets are not human. Their value is less than the values and services of the donkeys.

Thanks for such islustrative information and comments.

  8. hi2164,

I am not defending Elias, neither do I know the individual personally, but he is doing excellent job of the 21st century democratic and pluralism promotion.

The job can help in promoting transparency and human rights improvement. We don’t need to go far to see that transparecy, democracy, pluralism and human rights advocacy is being promoted because we see evn here on Ethiopian Review Forum where any one can come in and express ideas, defend ideas, oppose ideas, etc. reagrdless of region, religion, race, gender, etc. It is an exceptional forum to be hailed. Spineless dictators who hate democracy, pluralism, human rights advocay, etc. also hate the free press and the free forum simply because it exposes their crimes and contributions to crimes against humanity.

Truth hurts! And when it hurts some times it provokes reactions in the form of laughter not actually out of happiness, but out of guilt feeling and the pain of living in faulsehood and deceipt, immoral as well as inhuman as it may be. So please keep laughing at yourself though you mean, “you make me cry.”

  9. Elias, please leave these poor animals alone. They are loyal servants of the Ethiopian people. Why do you compare them with traitors like Beyene? This is not fair!!!!

  10. In defence of the loyal Donkeys:

Donkeys serve Ethiopian poor much better than the Hodam parliament members. Donkeys contribution to the Ethiopian micro economy is enormous compared to the dead toy like creatures of parliament members who are sitting with their fat ass and eat as much as they could taking money from the poor and starving Ethiopians

  11. Doctor:

I don’t answer for the publisher, but I happen to sypathize with your wish to have another choice instead of the “obnoxious cartoon” you have complained. It is also true that we should have choices in a democracy and your demand for another one is justified.

Hence, may I kindely offer another animal, that is to say, the Sloth, instead of the donkey. To reduce your pain, please refer to,”The sin of the Sloth” http://deadlysins.com/sins/sloth

This cartoon is so obnoxious.Do you have another one.

  12. Oh Elias! now I realized what you are really. you are the supporter of WOYANE. You are trying to paint good picture of WOYANES by sketching them as donkeys…they are not that better. THEY ARE VAMPIRES…!!!!!!!

  13. Hi
    I copied and paste two paragraphs from Obang Metho’s recent message in Minnesota.If you want to fight basic cause we must unite!!!What were the crimes of these people???they were fighting the common enemy in their own way.I can sense the acusatory and reactive tone for the “obnoxious comment!!!” it doesn’t make me me refrain from visiting your website;

“I know about your suffering and that you are fighting against its root cause – the injustice being perpetrated against you by the EPRDF. So are the Anuak doing the same as are countless other individual groups. I want you to know that in your fight that you need not fight alone. I will fight along with you, at your side. However, we need more Ethiopians to come along side of us to fight with us against this injustice that is oppressing, suppressing and killing Ethiopians all over the country.

Our history indicates that we have been isolated from each other, fighting the same opponent, but doing it alone. We have been doing it haphazardly and mostly ineffectually, from many various fronts. The evidence of our frustration is in the many years of our struggle. As long as we fight our battles alone, we will not win the war. Instead, we are not only prolonging the suffering of our people, but we are actually contributing to the destruction of everyone who lives in Ethiopia. We know that what this government fears the most is unity within our ethnic groups and unity among differing ethnic groups.”

  14. I think, Merera doesn’t deserve to be counted as a member of this trio. The man has some substance. For instance, he has preferred to get hsi salry from the University rather than the aprliament (which pays better, by the way). He also gives some reasonable interviews. GO BACK TO BREHANU’S BOOK TO GET A CLOSER LOOK AT THESE 3 PERSONALITIES.
