Woyane mentally castrates all who preaches a united Ethiopia. The damage to Teddy is already done, who knows whether he is shaved with AIDS infected razor or not that is one way woyane wants to systematically eliminate what he considers as enemies.
The weakness of the opposition is the real cause for woyane to do whatever he wants and everybody should wake up before it is too late. Hitting a battle drum in DC or being a friendly opposition does not help to build a free and democratic Ethiopia. Join the genuine Ethiopians led by engineer Hailu Shawel who are ready and willing to give their lives to free Ethiopia from tyranny and poverty.
It is a good news, but Elias how much u sure about the news?? It is hard to me to belive for a second. Because if they release him before the apeal, they are going to addmit he is a political Prisoner not a criminal. You think Woyane is this much stupid??? I don’t think so. so do you!!
afterall there is no real justice in ethiopia. kinjit leaders were also pardoned after they were sentenced to life in prison. Weyane better change the name ministry of justice to ministry of pardon…. yIqirta Minister. how nice. hahahaha. anything is possible in ethiopa. i laugh sooo loooud.
The release is good news. BUT I do not understand “Ethiopian Review’s Intelligence Unit”. I thought you guys were genuine journalists…:)
Woyannes are evil genius just like their idol Adolph Hitler. We all know that the arrest of Teddy Afro is a symbol to intimidate him and others like him who are speaking out against the atrocities of Meles’ regime. These evils are aware that the arrest of the well known and well liked Teddy would bring unwanted world attention to them; so we shouldn’t be surprised if they release him. I beg all my fellow Ethiopian brothers and sisters to continue the same fight for the release of the not famous and unknown innocent men and women. I wish all my fellow peace loving Ethiopians a very Merry Christmas!!! And Misery, Misery X-Mess to all Woyannes!!!
solomon, do not doubt a minute about weyanes stupidity. If they are not stupid enough , they could not arres him even for a day when they are surrounded by so many armed fronts from different sides, by eritrea and somalians. Weyanes are stupids and political ignorants. do not histate for this.
Since when does the gov’t start caring about demonstration by Ethiopians in Diaspora? Good news if they release him for this reason.
Elias, you must be dreaming! I don’t know how you see things related to politics in Ethiopia. The Meles gang doesn’t care about demonstration. Thanks GOD that the demos are outside of Ethiopia. You will be killed if you do it inside Ethiopia! Now you are telling me Teddy could be released soon?????? That means there is no problem if you would travel to Ethiopia? Wake up Bro! and provide acurate and reasonable info.
Selam hun Teddy!
Let’s be optimistic and let’s move
forward. Let’s be part of the GEAO
(Global Ethiopian Action Oriented)
team.
Away with pessimism!
Long live United Ethiopia.

There is no point in telling you what I believe, because most of you here are blinded by hate and don’t want to listen but wants to talk.
If there is abuse of power in the country’s courts, then I am sure it isn’t only Teddy who suffer from it, rather is it the Ethiopian people, so if that is the case then where were you for the last 17 or so years? Why not demonstrate before about the Ethiopian court system? Do you only demonstrate when you believe a well known person is being wrongly jailed (Kinijit leaders or Teddy Afro). What about the person on the street who isn’t rich or well known? Where were you?
I guess you are hypocrites or playing double standard and want to score political points whenever there is an opportunity
