In a statement released to the media, Ginbot 7 said that the fund will be used to carry out an all inclusive strategy that it has devised to remove the Woyanne tribal dictatorship in Ethiopia. ከግንቦት 7 ለፍትህ ለነጻነትና ለዴሞክራሲ ንቅናቄ – (ታህሳስ 2 2001) ሃገራችን ስላለችበት ጭንቅና መከራ ህዝባችን ስለሚኖርበት የምድር ሲኦል፣ ብዙ ተብሏል። የወያኔ ኢህአዴግ መሪዎች፣ የመለስ ዜናዊንና የኩባንያውን ጸረ-ኢትዮጵያዊነት፣ በሃገርና በወገን ላይ የፈጸሙትን በደልና ግፍ እያንዳንዱ ኢትዮጵያዊ ጠንቅቆ ያውቀዋል። እያንዳንዱ ኢትዮጵያዊ የሚፈልገውና የሚመኘው ነገር ቢኖር በእዛች ደሃና መከረኛ ሃገራችን ላይ ሰላም ሰፍኖ፣ የህዝብ መብት ተጠብቆ የዜጎች አንድነትና የሀገርና ህልውና ተከብሮ፣ በአለም እያዋረደን ካለው የድህነት፣ ችጋርና የስደተኛነት መለያችን መገላጋል እንደሆነ እናውቃለን።
ይህ በጎ የህዝብ ምኞት እንዲሰምር ብዙ ኢትዮጵያውያን ህይወታቸው፣ ሃብት ንብረታቸውን፣ የተረጋጋ ኑሮዋቸውን፣ የቤተሰቦቻቸውን ደህንነት ገብረዋል። እስከ ዛሬ ድረስ ኢትዮጵያን ከተከመረባት ዘረኛና አምባገነናዊ ጸረ-ኢትዮጵያ ሃይል ለመገላገል ቆርጬ ተነስቻለሁ ለሚል ድርጅት የሃገራችን ዜጎች ያላበረከቱት ድጋፍ፣ ያልተመኙት በጎ ምኞት የለም። በተለያዩ ምክንያቶች ድርጅቶች ሲነሱ ሲወድቁ፣ ገበናቸው ሲጋለጥ፣ እንኳን ህዝብና ሃገርን የሚያክሉ ታላላቅ ነገሮች ነጻ የሚያደርግ ትግል እንቅስቃሴ ማደራጀት ቀርቶ እርስ በርሳቸው ተስማምተው መሄድ የማይችሉ ስብስቦች መሆናቸው ሲታይ፣ የህዝብ ስሜት በሃዘን ሬት ሲበከል አይተናል። አደራና ቃል የማያከብሩ፣ ለኢትዮጵያ ትንሳኤና ለህዝቧ የመከራ ቀን ማሳጠሪያ፣ ህዝብ ተቸግሮ በአመኔታ የሰጣቸውን ጥሪት ቀኑ መሽቶ የሚበላ የማይገኝ እንደሚመስለው ጅብ ተስገብግበው ውጠው፣ ያለምንም ሃፍረት አይናቸውን እያጉረጠረጡ በህዝብ ውስጥ ሲሹለኮሉ በማየት አንጀቱ የበገነው ብዙ እንደሆነ እናውቃለን።
የሃገር ጉዳይ ሆነና አንዱ ድርጅት ሲከዳ፣ ቃሉን ማክበር ሲያቅተው፣ በሌላው አዲስ ቃል ኪዳን በሚገባ፣ በሌላ ጥሩ ተናጋሪና ጥሩ ጸሃፊ ባለው ድርጅት እየተተካ፣ አዲሱም እንደ አሮጌዎቹ ያንኑ የቆየ የክህደት ቡቱቶ ሲላበስ፣ በህዝብ እምነትና በድርጅቶች ከህደት መሃከል ያለው የአዙሪት ቀለበት ሳይሰበር እዚህ ደርሰናል። ህዝብ ተስፋ ከማድርግ ሌላ ምርጫ የሌለው ነውና፣ አንድ ቀን ምናልባት አንድ ቀን ምኞቴ ይሳካ ይሆናል በሚል ቀጥሏል።
የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ራሱም ሆነ ሃገሩ ያሉበት አስቸጋሪና ፈተኛ ሁኔታ እንዲቀየር ይፈልጋል። ይህንን ለውጥ ግን በተናጠል ማድረግ እንደማይችል፣ ለውጡን የሚያደራጅና የሚመራ ድርጀት እንደሚያስፈልገው ይረዳል። የድርጅት ጉዳይ ደግሞ ደጋግሞ የህዝቡን ቀልብ የሚስበው ለእዚህ ነው። ድርጅት ለለውጥ አስፈላጊ በመሆኑ እንጂ ህዝብ እንደታዘባቸው የተለያዩ ድርጅቶች ማንነትና ድርጊት ቢሆን ኖሮ የድርጅት ጉዳይ ሲነሳ ጆሮዎቹን በጣቶቹ ደፍኖ አትድረሱብኝ ሊል ይችል እንደነበር እናውቃለን።
ይሁንና በእዚህ አስከፊ ክፉ ዘመን፣ ከረሃቡም ከችግሩም ከግድያውና ከእስራቱም በላይ፣ የኢትዮጵያችን ህልውና፣ የአገዛዙን ስልጣን በያዙ ጸረ-ኢትዮጵያ ሃይሎች ለከፍተኛ አደጋ በተጋለጠበት ወቅት፣ የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ በፖለቲካ ድርጅቶችና በፖለቲካ ሰዎች ላይ ተስፋ መቁረጥ በኢትዮጵያ ላይ ተስፋ መቁረጥ አድርጎ ስለሚያየው ጣቶቹን ጆሮው ጫፍ ላይ አስቀመጠ እንጂ አልሰማም ብሎ አልጠቀጠቃቸውም። አሁንም፣ ፈራ ተባ እያለ ቢሆንም አዲስ ቃል ኪዳን ለሚገቡ፣ አዲስ ራእይና ቁርጠኛነት አለን ለሚሉ ድርጅቶች ጆሮውን ለማዋስ እድሉን ለመስጠት ከመሞከር አልቦዘነም። ይህም ሆኖ ግን በድርጅቶች መሪዎች ድክመት፣ መዝረክረክና ማንአለብኝነት የባከነው የህዝብ ህይወት፣ ሀብት፣ እውቀትና ጉልበት የተጎዳው ቀናና በጎ ስሜት በቀላሉ የሚታይ እንዳልሆነ እናውቃለን። በእዚህ በኩል ለደረሰው ጉዳት የፖለቲካ ሰዎች ነን የምንል ሁሉ በቀጥታ ይሁን በተዘዋዋሪ ለተፈጸመው ጥፋት ተገቢ የሆነውን የየራሳችን የጥፋት ድርሻ መቀበል ይኖርብናል።
ይህንንም ብለን ግን ድርጅቶችንና የድርጅቶች መሪዎችን ብቻ ወቅሰን ጉዳዩን ብናልፈው ሰለአለንበት ችግር የተናገርነው ግማሽ ሃቅ ይሆናል። ህዝብም ቢሆን በተለይ አቅሙና ችሎታው ያለው ወገናችን የፖለቲካ ድርጅቶችን መረን በመልቀቅና መሪዎችን በማቅበጥ ለደረሰው ጥፋት የራሱን ሃላፊነት መቀበል የሚገባው መሆኑን ሳንጠቁም ማለፉ ግብዝ ያደርገናል። በስልጣን ላይ ያለው አስከፊ አገዛዝ የሚያዋርደን እኛ እስከፈቀድንለት ድረስ እንደሆነ ሁሉ የፖለቲካ ድርጅቶች መሪዎች በህዝብ ላይ መቀለድ የሚችሉት ህዝብ እስከፈቀደላቸው ድረስ መሆኑን ልንስተው አይገባም። የፖለቲካ ድርጅቶች የህዝብን አደራ እንዳይበሉ፣ የህዝብ ቅስም እንዳይሰብሩ፣ በማንአለብኝነት ያሻቸውን እንዳይፈጽሙ ምን ያህሎቻችን ነን ከዳር ቆመን ከማውራት አልፈን በውስጣቸው ገብተን ልንቆጣጠራቸው በህዝብ ስሜት መቀለድ አትችሉም ያልናቸው? ስንቶቻችን ነን ሁሉንም የፖለቲካ ሰዎች በድፍን ካማማትና አይረቡም ከማለት አልፈን፣ ከግብዝነትና ከአድርባይነት በላይ ተሻግረን አጥፊዎቹን ፊት ለፊት ለመናገር ድፍረቱን የተላበስን? ስንቶቻችን ነን ሊደገፉ የማይገባቸውን ደርጅቶችና የፖለቲካ መሪዎች፣ ሃገራዊና ህዝባዊ ከሆነ ጉዳይ ምክንያት ውጭ በጭፍን በመደገፍ የጥፋት ስራ የሚሰሩበትን እድሜያቸውን እየቀጠልናቸው ያለነው? እያመንን ተከዳን ብቻ ሳይሆን ሁሉም ይህንን የእምነት ክህደት አዙሪት ለመስበር ምን ሰርቼአለሁ የሚል ጥያቄ ማነሳት ተገቢ እንጂ ነው እንላለን።
ግንቦት7 የተመሰረተው፣ በህዝብ ውስጥ የተጎዳ ስሜትና በአመክኖ ላይ የተመሰረተ የፖለቲካ እንቅስቃሴ ለማድርግ ለሚፈልጉ ሃይሎች ሁኔታው በጣም አስቸጋሪ መሆኑን እያወቀ ነው። በእኛም ውስጥ በህዝብ ውስጥ የሚነሳው ስሜት ተነስቶ ነበር። “ተሰባስበን ለመስራት ያደረግነው ሙከራ ከሽፏል። የፖለቲካ ድርጅት ውስጥ መግባት፣ የፖለቲካ ድርጅት መስርቶ መንቀሳቀስ ተስፋ የሚያስቆርጥ ነው። ትርፉ ውሎ አድሮ በራስና በቤተሰብ ላይ መከራ ማብዛት ነው። እኛም ማህበራዊ ስነልቦናው ብዙ የባህል ችግሩ ለሰለጠነ ፖለቲካ ታላላቅ ፈተናዎች እያመጣ የሚደነቅርበት ህብረተሰብ አካል በመሆናችን እኛም እንዳለፉት ድርጅቶች ድንገት ልናሳየው በምንችለው ድክመት ህዝብን ልናስቀይም እንችል ይሆናል” ብለን በመተከዝ አሰላስለናል። ይሁንና እኛም እንደ ኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ ተሰፋ እንዳንቆርጥ ያደረገን፣ “አባት የሞተ እንደሁ በሃገር ይለቀሳል ሃገር የሞተ እንደሁ ወዴት ይደረሳል” በማለት እጅግ አሽቸጋሪ ፈተናዎች አልፈውና መስዋእትነት ከፍለው ይችን ውድና ክቡር ሃገር ለኛ ያስተላለፉ ቀደምቶቻችን ጩኸት ከየወደቁበት ፈፋና ፈረፈር፣ በረሀና ጫካ፣ ተራራና ሸለቆ፣ ዱርና ገደል እያሰገመገመ ስለሰማነው ነው። ሀገርን የሚያክል ነገር፣ በተለይ ኢትዮጵያን የሚክል፣ ዙሪያችን እንደምናያቸው ሃገሮች ማንም ጠፍጦ ያልሰራትን ሃገር፤ ትውልድ በደሙ ዋዥቶ ያቆያትን ምድር፤ መለስ ዜናዊን ለመሰለ በጸረ- ኢትዮጵያነት በቀል ለሚንቀሳቀስ ከሃዲ አስረክበን መቀመጥ የማይቻል የማይታሰብ ስለሆነብን ነው።
ትግሉ ሃገርን የማዳን ብቻ ሳይሆን እራስንም፣ ልጆቻችንና ቤተሰቦቻችንም ነጻ ለማውጣት የሚደረግ መሆኑን እያወቅን፣ በተለይ እኛ ግንቦት 7ን የመሰረትነው አባላት ሌላ ነጻ አውጪ ጠባቂዎች ሆነን ብንገኝ አሳፋሪ ብቻ ሳይሆን በሞራል ወንጀል የሚያስጠይቅ መሆኑን በማወቃችን ነው፤ እኛም ምርጫችንን በትግሉ መቀጠል ብቻ ያደረግነው። ይህ በመሆኑ ነው፣ ስለወያኔ/ኢህአዴግ ማንነት ያለን እውቀት፣ ወያኔን/ኢህአዴግን ለመታግል ከሚያስችለው ህዝብን በስፋት ለማንቀሳቀስ ካለን ተመክሮዋችን፣ ማሰባሰብ ከምንችለው በዘመናዊነትና በእውቀት የታጠቀ የሰው ሃይል፣ በጥናትና ምርምር በተደገፈ የትግል አቅጣጫና መገንባት በምንችለው የደርጅት አቅም፣ መንድፍ በምንችለው የተጋድሎ ታክቲክና ስትራተጂ፣ ሁላችንምና ሀገራችን አዋርዶ ለመግዛት የሚፈልገውን እብሪተኛ አገዛዝ ለማስወገድ ባላን እልህ፣ በተለይ ከነበርንበት ድርጅትና ከሌሎችም ድርጅቶች ጥፋቶች በሚገባ ከቀሰምነው ትምህርት ተነስተን፣ የህዝብን ስሜት ማደስ፣ ምኞቱን ማስፈጸም የሚችል ንቅናቄ ማቆም፣ ሁሉንም የሃገሪቱን ዜጎች በነጻነትና በእኩልነት የሚያስተናግድ አንድነታቸውን ለማስጠበቅ አልሞ የተነሳውን ራእያችንን ማስፈጸም አያቅተንም ብለን ነው፤ የግንቦት 7ን ለፍትህ ለነጻነትና ለዴሞክራሲ ንቅናቄን ያቆምነው።
በሩቁና በቅርቡ በሆነው ተከፍቶ፣ በሃገሩ ላይ ተስፋ እንደማይቆርጠው የኢትዮጵያ ህዝብ፣ እኛም ምንም አይነት ፈተና ቢገጥመን በሃገራችን ላይ ተስፋ አንቆርጥምና ከወደቅንበት ቆሻሻ ስፍራ አብሮን የተነሳውን ትቢያ አራግፈን በድፍረት ቆመናል።
ብዛታችንን፣ የትግላችን ፍትሃዊነትና የአላማችን ርቱእነት፣ ድል አድራጊነታችን አስቀድሞ የተነበየው ነውና እንደ ቀደምቶቻችን ሃገራችንን በመታደግ ለልጅ ልጆቻችን፣ ለቤተሰቦቻችንና ለትውልድ የሚተላለፍ አኩሪ ታሪክ በጋራ እንስራ እንላችኋለን።

Well weyane is a known formidable enemy that is not a bizzare to any one.
However, to me the enemy of the Oromos( the largest ethinic group in eth.) is the oromo it self that is directly working for weyane as a servant cadre and that are incarcenated them selves in Olf organization, an organization that the ordinary troops are paying the highest price while the top officials are gaining thier own power and finiacial needs from the oroganization and when they stop working for the organization they simply become a weyane puppet as a recent apparent example Aba Biyya.
At the same time the second biggest ethinic group the Amahara, the enemy of the Amahara’s are the Amahara’s them seleves that are working for weyane as a servant and that are hiding them seleves in some oppostion groups like EPRP and AUEP, look eprp is highly dominized by a few Amahara and oromo ethicized groups, well there are also a variety of other ethinic minorites in eprp. but the party( of course a dead one) is highly manupulated a by a few Amaharas and Oromos who are alawys dies for thier personal power and money interest. These individuals are have been highly working in destroying other strong and genuine oppostions than weyane. As a result the recent unfortunate kinijit destruction was highly bombarded by eprp destructive elements, well the major cause of kinijit destuction was the fool and idiot hailu shawel that had driven the train of kinijit in to the dead camp of eprp using his ignorant and selfish navigator Taye w/sytanat.
At the same time the moron hailu shawel who claims that he stands for the Amahars more than anything is striving to kill the struggle for the second time, so according all of these above examples the enemy of the the amahars are the amharas and the enemy of the oromos are the oromos, well the same pattern would go to other minority ethinic groups in ethiopia.
The ethiopians who are highly harassed by the weyane inhumane few colony groups must fight thier respective enemies around them before they fight or along with the fight against the weyane regime.

This is the best YEMESERACH news for all Ethiopians. I thank you Elias for posting the announcement. I have no doubt as G7’s campaign will be a successful one. Count on me as one of the first contributors for the good cause. My plan is to contribute an initial lump sum of 500 US dollars then follows with a fixed monthly contribution of 30 dollars. I will be examining my plan every four months. My contribution plan could be increased or decreased it depends on the performance of G7. I will also plan to inform other fellow Ethiopians and encourage them to do their part. I think it is time to learn from others. Look at Eritreans all over the world. This is not going to resolve the issue of G7’s fund raising campaingn. Confront the truth and come up clean.

I read this communique with a keen eye, I can understand a political organization raising funds to finance its political activities but I didn’t read any concrete strategy or tactic in this communique on how to fight and win over the brutal Woyanne regime. If we are to be realistic there are already organizations inside Ethiopia fighting to bring about true freedom and justice to the long suffering Ethiopian people, what is the G7’s stand towards those organizations? Nothing I read in this article eludes to that fact. I think the G7 movement should come out clean on the strategy and tactics it will use to bring about change in Ethiopia, you can’t fight a brutal regime with a huge military armed to the teeth with nothing from outside the country. Yes there is a great deal to be gained by winning the media and propaganda war against the brutal Woyanne regime, in the end though without a unified leadership on the ground in Ethiopia with teeth to consolidate the gains made on the ground you can’t expect to defeat Woyanne on the ground.
I hope my Ethiopian brothers and sisters will discuss these issues openly so the people of Ethiopia will not be let down again by a political movement without the force on the ground inside Ethiopia to enforce the gains made by the Ethiopian people, otherwise the people will be slaughtered by the brutal tribal Woyanne regime with nothing to show for their sacrifice.
Dr. Berhanu seems to do something in his life time. Ethiopians have seen something new in 1997 election. I know we may or may not succeed but something is clear for me. If in reality Ginbot 7 starts to do something, the majority of the people will definitely follow them. Whether we succeed or not is in the hand of God but I know the people will do history just like the 1997 election. I know this because I was part of the majority.
