The regime in Ethiopia has imprisoned the renowned artist Tewodros Kasahun (Teddy Afro) on the pretext of a traffic accident that is supposed to have happened some 2 years ago.   1. This so called petition is not going to set him free. I don’t at all believe it. The only way to free him and the whole peole is to talk the talk, the only language the woyane knows. Being pragmatic. Don’t make me sick please. The minority junta from dedebit are sitting and laughing in the office they don’t deserve. I will put my name anyways.

  2. The petition should also include all the unknown victims who are rotting in jail. I will add my name to the list if it does any good. How I wish all of us to come to DC at least once a year till Meles release all the political prisoners and finally remove him from power. If we come together for foot ball game; why not scarify at least one day a year to show our support to our people. It is the least we can do.

  3. Yes, I will sign the petition as I know what my people went through, at least, for the last 17 years under the present tribal fascists rule. The nation is grieving over those who are imprisoned, killed, tortured, displaced and what have you. Would Europeans, Americans and the rest of the world feel our people’s pain? If they do, particularly those in the leadership, need to sign this petition as a sign of sympathy or collaboration with the Ethiopian people. I mentioned the leaders because they clearly know what the Ethiopian people are demanding, and the purpose of this petition is.

    His kind is not produceable in collage or in any other kind of educational institutions
    He has God given gracs,talent,intelegence and deep understanding of his country’s situation, most of all the love of his country and people put him in this situation

    He is not any body who can replace easily

    It is you diasporas whi is the tightening the noose around the neck of this man.Please stop taking about petition, demonstration, sanction and other -tions. It is by politely asking the government through elders or others others that he can be released.
    Otherwise, the more you -tion, the worse things become for him.
