Congratulation Ethiopia and dejenie Lakew! This kind of work is what Ethiopia needs and not America’s dirty work!
Oh, nice of you, ethiopian review, for posting this!
Even though, this is for the so called, ellite ethiopians , it shows how maths can be an art , entertaining and fun.
Thanks!
Great job Dejenie Lakew. There are many ethiopian who have the ability to creat many formulas and theories about psyices and mathimatics.Keep it up!!!!!!!!!
It looks nice. But I am sorry, I didn’t understand. can someone explain the meaning of the picture or the message it has or something like the philosophy it shows and may be why we should admire it.
God bless you. If you were in Ethiopia, you would have been killed by woyane or Derg. Unfortunately Ethiopia is loosing the knowledge of people like you due to the tyranny in Ethiopia. The West is systematically instal “friendly tyrannts” in third world countries so that it will exploit it mineral and human resources.
This is a great mathematical science and art. God bless Professor Dejenie A Lakew and his work. This is a great work that inspires many of the Ethiopian young mathematicians. Dejenie is one of the great mathematicians of his time. His works will be heavily used and appreciated by the future generation. It is my hope that the future generation will make good use of his work.
Lets promote such kind of works and make Ethiopians and Ethiopia visible to the rest of the world. We have to pomote works by our own people.
Thank you Ethiopian Review for posting this wonderful work and may God inspire Prof Dejenie A Lakew to work more.

Dear Jemal and others who looked at my Mathematical Imagery works here at Ethiopian Review!
First, I would like to thank the individual who posted the images here at this web site.
It is interesting to see that art works in Mathematics and art it self are appreciated by all people irrespective of their background in any of the Sciences or Mathematics it self.
That is what I observed from the comments and appreciations you have written concerning my Mathematical images.
The images are posted in the American Mathematical Society’s web site in Mathematical Imagery section. You will see and read amazing art works of many Mathematicians like me who look mathematics as an art.
Mathematics after all is partly the study of patterns and structures and we can take our brain to an imagined abstract space with an imagined and abstract Mathematical phenomena that you can stay with and sooth your brain.
The images of my work are what we call hyper(or super)-symmetries. These things are very important first and formost as an art but also in studying, investigating and understanding complex structures in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and also to get an understanding of the universe that we live in and try to answer some mystries in terms of symmetries or hyper symmetries.
But the super symmetric images that I created are from some 2-D hyper surfaces in 3-D spaces that we live in and their superimpositions composed with some rotations.
The hyper surfaces are generated by some functions we teach for our university students.
For further understanding, learning and enjoying more Mathematical images, I invite each and every one of you to see the Americam Mathematical Society’s Web site: http:///www.ams.org and go to the Mathematical Imagery section or my personal web site: http://www.dejeniea.com .
I appreciate each and every one of you for you nice comments you have written and the Marylanders in particular for their deep appreciations of my work and their call on young people to appreciate and study Mathematics.
By the way, I am not at Virginia State University any more.
My Address is :
Dejenie A. Lakew , Ph.D.
Associate Professor of Mathematics
Virginia Union University
Department of Mathematics
Richmond, VA 23220
Thank you all.
