  1. I felt sorry for the incident. And my condolence is to his family.

From the late resume I understand that woyane does not care about the Ambassader role for nation development.I believe the late ambassader is more suitable to other home land excutive/Adminstrative post than being possitioned to this key roll. Woyane has to start to learn to do things with standard and first nation basis than his political advantage.

  2. LEMIN BEMULU DEBEIN AYELUM….

Who cares all the weyane servants dies, by the way it would’ve been so good if the tigrian tplf members start dying, which eventually will happen. If the major crime orchestrators of the TPLF members dies, the end of TPLF era will come to end so that the Ethiopian people will be the winner…..

In any case, it is a message for all weyane HODAM servants that the Ethiopian people doesn’t care about them since they deliberately denies the atrocities of weyane and even carries out the weyane crimes to fulfill their own financial interests.

I cant wait to see the death of TPLF idiot criminal members……
Death to weyane members and suppoerters………….

  3. Why r u insulting a dead man? Maybe he was a good man, maybe he was capable of doing things at his position. Before you throw words reflecting hate, think twice.

  4. I don’t care ! Please Ethiopian We must not forget to support armed struggle against Woyane in Ethiopia. Please let us be united and fight the East Africa Cancer.

Free Ethiopian from Tegrai Liberation front

  5. When a person of this statue dies, even if he works for woyane, unless he is the man on the wheel if one can’t feel sorry one is mentally ill. In my years in the great land of the USA – have observed the attrition and gradual decay of my Ethiopian fellows moral status that will lead to a sure disaster in my beloved country. I lose sleep over the fact that I will be mourning on the worst disaster that man has witnessed. The worst could be coming if people like me don’t multiply. I will be on the forefront to fight moral decay, corruption and greed. The social movement has begun and hopefully moral decay will stop. Elias, you are the rapp music of Ethiopia. Your web site, morethan any Ethiopian websites, helps expose the degeneration of our culture.

  6. I can not believe what I am reading here. No wonder we are the shame of humanity. Hungry, angry, hateful, can’t agree on any thing, good for nothing!
You are the advocates of Ethiopia in diaspora, who at all cost distance yourselves from any discussion about real problems in Ethiopia, problems such as famine and AIDS, but respond in such a shameful manner to the news of death of one of our own.
A soldier in war front respects the dead body of his enemy who was trying to kill him moments before. This is a simple respect for human dignity. We Ethiopians have lost this simple and basic human behavior.
This person you disrespectfully comment about on the news of his death, may or may not hold different opinions from that of yours. But does it matter?
Ambassador Getachew was a civil servant like most intellectuals in Ethiopia.
I happen to know him, not as an ambassador but as a good person and he is a honourable Ethiopian who diserves respect for what he has done and tried to do for his country.
I can assure you he has done way more for his country than you misreable losers out there.
