  1. Elias would you please ask your guest about the shallow and irresponsible Weyane supporters’ misinformation if any EPPF personel has been imprisoned in Asmara by the Eritrean government? I know this is silly, but, I think your audience need to hear it several times for the alraedy aired three times apparently is not enough!

  2. Elias, Can you ask the leader why the front does not even have a decent website? No money? It looks unprofessional and makes one wonder if this is a viable organization when it cannot even maintain a decent website (its main communication outlet).

It is embarassing and should be corrected. I am sure there are lots of heroic Ethiopians who can design a better site.

  3. Thanks Elias for organizing this interview. This was an eye opener in that now we know why the EPPF is at a standstill for over 10 years. I am absolutely convinced these individuals are resolute and dedicated to the good cause of Ethiopia and Ethiopians and ready to sacrifice all they got including their lives, however during the interview, I could sense a crippling paranoia and distrust of everyone and everything. I have no doubt that Woyanie is spending unlimited resources to penetrate the front and implode it from the inside, but it is very clear that it lacks good organizers, managers and most of all good communicators.

It was painful at times to listen to the EEPF president responding to Elias’ questions. I know their main mission is to get rid of Woyanie, but they clearly lack clarity of strategy and organizational skills to achieve their end goal.

I know a lot of people have complained about their disorganized and meaningless website, but the problem goes deeper than that I think. I have a feeling they are afraid of broadening their support base both at home and abroad for fear of being penetrated by Woyanie and that is hurting them big time. They also badly need a political base with a coherent mission statement. Perhaps the G7 group could help this patriots with these and similar tasks.

  4. I listened to the interview with interest and I would like to congratulate Elias for his courage to put the EPPF chairman on the radio, I heard in Ato Meazaw’s words a man of wisdom, a man who is leading the rank and file Ethiopians inside the country, perhaps it is hard for most Ethiopians in the diaspora to understand his views because they are used to hearing words of urban politicians who speak the language of the west, leading an armed front that fights for the freedom and unity of Ethiopia is different from leading a political party without any base of real power. In my view Ethiopians in the diaspora should take the initiative to familiarize themselves with EPPF, go to the field, meet the Arbegnoch who are sacrificing their lives for their country then come back to the diaspora and start organizing a support system with clear political objectives of the EPPF.

Learn from the Eritrean experience and don’t see yourselves as above the people who are doing the real fighting in the fields, be humble and support the organization. Just because you live in the west and have money doesn’t give you any more rights than the people of Ethiopia who suffering under the Woyanne dictatorship. I implore all Ethiopians in the diaspora to meet with the representative of the EPPF in Europe and the US, join the organization, support those who are doing the fighting and you will see real results in the long run.

  5. Thank you for those who are giving their lives so that our beloved country becomes viable befre it is too late. To have some leadership that realy cares for the country unlike these thugs selling the country and people lefet and righr. I will help this movement anyway I can because these front has shown by action not by words.

    God bless

  6. Elias,

You are the other hero, who mamma Ethiopia relies on. Heroes fight for this beloved mother Ethiopia, no matter what they face!!, with no fear!!.

These Arbegnas are choping the woyane monster piec by piece, and one day (believe me you all worie cariers, wolaway hulu!!), one day, they will be at woyane’s throat slashing it!!.

Thank you, Elias, for great interview!!.

  7. Elias, your patriotic efforts have to be congratulated for the fact that you are one of those few in the Ethiopian Diaspora media that is slowly but surely showing the way to shift gear of the political discussions away from the archaic and irrelevant agenda set by the Woyanes and their masters now lurking within Ma America and elsewhere.

As we follow various media outlets, inadvertently or otherwise, they offer more on rhetorical Akake Zeraf type of Ethiopian Unity while the Woyanes are systematically dismantling the country. One of the divisive tools they often use is to persistently accuse any promising organization of being a sell-out of Asmara.

The Woyanes and their masters appreciate and at the same time worry of the capacity that Asmara has in bringing various organizations together, especially those who have a common cause of dismantling the Woyane killing machine that has turned into a destabilizing tool in the conflicts raging the Horn region.

The Woyane propaganda machine speaks louder through otherwise patriotic Ethiopians who are stuck in old political clichés. This has been one of the stumbling blocks for an effective use of the opposition media to stirring all the energies of the resistance against the PRIME enemy of the peoples of Ethiopia and the Horn.

    La lotta continua!
    Tgl yfafamal!

  8. Reading the above comment that wrote by Surafel, what I would say is, please, please read what Ertrawi says.

As EPPF chairman Meazaw sayid, please involve yourself in the strugle to be part of EPPF family. I mean rather than bean a strategic designer from outside, it would hav full meaning and inuflence if you become part of it.

I think most of us who are residing in the west have been listening nice and articulative words from different Ethiopian Polotical Leders which are full of empty words, but no practical action, therefor, when it comes to sush straight talk no arteficial words by Arebgna Meazaw, we have difficalties to swallow it. Any ways I would like to say thanks to Eliyas Kifle for your usual and brave action to make us understand about EPPF, bY INTERVIEWING THE REAL ARBEGNA MEAZAW GETU. I HOPE IN FUTURE, YOU LET US KNOW HOW TO GET INTOUCH WITH THE DELIGATES OR DIASPORA LEADERSHIP TO PARTCIPATE AND MAKE CONTURIBTION.
Once again thanks to you, Eliyas Kifle for your usual brave effort
Let us all make our own contrubition to EPPF and then mone.
    Belete

  9. The ethiopianness of the EPPF chairman starts by his fear GOD and asking his fellow countryman to prayers…this is a true Ethiopian! a fighter determined to raise emmama ethiopia from the ashes! His humulity is overwhelming and his fear of God is disarming-Geta yebarekh Arbegnaw!!

  10. Sooner or later, it´s absolutely given that the weyane will fall. Now the issue is, if ethiopians want the unity of the country to continue (territorialy), it´s imperative that all freedom fighting organizations put their musceles together already now,if problems are to be avoided later when meles is caught and sentenced to death!
