Barack Obama words of clear intent ‘I am committed to renewing America’s global leadership and helping people like those I met when I traveled to Africa in 2006’ is one more assurance for the freedom loving people of Ethiopia who hab=ve been waiting for long time.
There is no doubt that Ethiopia will be a great ally of the west in the fight against global terrorism. This asset has been with our nation not because an atheist rogue regime of Melese Zenawi, instead of the long harmonic history of the Ethiopian people of being bastion of tolerance for all Semitic faith.
The people of Ethiopia who poses this magnanimous virtues who voted for their democratic right in 2005, and was subsequently crushed brutally by a self possed ethnic minority group are awaiting once more to truly provide the world the true weapon of fighting global Terrorism.
Long Live Ethiopia

I don’t read any real change of the US policy towards our region in general and Ethiopia in particular in this letter, that doesn’t bode well for anyone who wants to see peace and change in our region. What I see is a return to the clinton years, I see Susan Rice, Anthony Lake and other Clinton era foreign policy advisors who are war mongers, Susan Rice and Tony Lake facilitated the Woyanne invasion of Eritrea in 1998 and they will be Obama’s foreign policy advisors, as far as Eritreans are concerned we know very well what these war mongers are up to and will continue the same foreign policy of Clinton and Bush that primarily cares about percieved US interests which are designed to create conflicts where they don’t exist and complicate where they exist and then act like peace makers to manage those conflicts. I would not vote for Obama until he explicitly promises to change US policy of the last 60 years towards our region and that is one promise he will not make.
The moral of this story is; Ethiopians should not look towards any country to make change and bring Woyanne down, it is up to Ethiopians to do the difficult job of ridding themselves and the rest of the horn of Africa of the menace called Woyanne. If you are going to vote for Obama vote based on domestic policy because US foreign policy never changes no matter who is president.
It is up to us Erhiopian to bring down woyanee not Obama. I agree with Erteriawi 100%. Look Ethiopian who lives in America only knows eat, sleep and fa%k. We don’t care about what happen to our people. That is the reality
come on guys this great man should be leading us for the next years and no doubt that he will fulfill his words.he is no like others.trust me he will change the us policy in our region and work to bring peace and stability in the region and above all will help us destroy those useless woyanes from the picture.YES WE CAN
