On Wednesday, police in Kenya’s capital Nairobi arrested some 90 Ethiopians who were crammed in a single house. Authorities believe the Ethiopians, most of them without travel documents, were on their way to South Africa. The World Bank-financed Woyanne junta led by Meles Zenawi has turned Ethiopia into a hell on earth for most Ethiopians. That’s what these poor Ethiopians are trying to escape from. Watch the gut-wrenching story below.

It is hard to see immigrants rounded up like cattle’s but on different way, with a gun point!.kenian police officers who are raping, spreading hiv and taking bribes from poor ethiopians and eritreans who are already exausted on the way to overcome the hardship of life in different situation like poletics, tribale conflict, religious opression and starvation are wicked and both their natures and deeds witnees that they are semi devils
It is really sad to see our people in this condition in Evey corner of the glob.
Ethiopia is losing cos most of the young are forced to live the country in drove.there is no a good political, economical climate for them to stay and develop there country.
WOYANE are looting Ethiopia.destroying the unity, the culture, the history, the land in other word this is Economical ethnic cleansing by Woyane for Woyane and there masters in the WEST,EAST…
In the near future we will see Kenayans seeking asylum in Ethiopia. But we will treat you fairly not to the standards of the mind you have now. But it only takes us a little bit until we free ourselves from the tigrian cocroches.
Indeed its sad and desturbing to watch people rounded up and detained for the reasons that they had no idea about and its more painful when the people you are watching happened to be your compatriots.
But its important to remember that governments have to act vigorously when their national security is at stake. When you have a deadly and dangerious terrorist organizations like Alshebab next door to deal with that proved itself to be capable of exporting its terror all the way to Uganda can easily inflict horrible and immeasurable harm to Kenya.
As a matter of fact Kenyans are good people but its unfortunate they haven’t had a responsible government that can protect its citizens from harm but a bunch of looters that put everything up for sale including national security.
The resemblance between the Habeshas and Somalis also make things complicated for the Kenyans but once they know who is who, things are going to be better.
I am positive that they will all walk away freely in a day or two.
So its unfair to blame the Kenyans for what they are doing because they are simply protecting their people from groups like Alshebab.
angel #1,
I respectfully disagree with your assertion that Kenyan police officers are raping our Habesha women.Your claim is outragious and doesn’t hold water.
I lived in Nairobi,Kenya for 8 years mostly attending my education in the University of Nairobi and at the same time an active member of the Habesha community and truly speaking never heard of police officers committing such a henious crime against our girls.NOT EVEN ONCE.
NOTE-Habesha and Somali communities always live together and Eastlegh, Mulangokubwa,Harlinghum,Lavington and Buruburu are their most popular neighbourhoods in Nairobi. There is a lot of interaction between them and protect each other.
But then again that is not what Kenyan police are known for.Do they take bribe?Absolutely///They take bribes from anyone and sadly even citizens are not immune. So the only thing they are good at, is extortion and they do it in a broad day light and they go away with it.But rape
big ‘NO’ atleast to my knowledge and I hope I am right.
ohh … it is amazing to hear a so called Kenyan “journalist” calling his brothers aliens, wow who does he think he is . i wouldnot be surprised if i heared this reporting from BBC or any other Western “Free press human right loving media”.
well ….hmmm. cry my beloved country….
H.I.M. Haileselassie and Jommo Kenyata created a bond between the people of Kenya and the people of Ethiopia, THAT CANNOT BE BROKEN EASILY. The now leadres of the two countries need to work diplomatically on all issues behind this round up.
”In 1936 the Emperor was forced to leave his country. Kenyatta and friends of Ethiopia were waiting to demonstrate their solidarity with the emperor. According to one eyewitness account an Africanin the watching crowd broke through the polite cordon of officials. It was Kenyatta. Contemptuous of protocol he went up to the Emperor and embraced him man to man, African to fellow African. It was a moving scene between two exiles”‘source: Keneyatta by Jeremy Murray-brown 1972.
A very sad spectacle. So many young people that could build Ethiopia abandoning it,like sea travelers do to a ship that is sinking. No body knows how many
of these young people will reach their destination and what awaits them. There is afrophobia in south Africa and Mubarak’s killer thugs in Egypt on top the hostile, dangerous and long trek.
What are they doing in Kenya? What can they find in South Africa that Ethiopia doesn’t have? There is plenty of land to farm in Ethiopia, so why go where they are not wanted?
Blame not only Melese but also the so- called oppositions who sit in Western capital and writing articles. Those who attesting escape of Melese brutal rule and find themselves in such terrible situation could have been used as right medicine for pathological lairs if were recruited and organized for that purpose.
Once again, another Heart-Wrenching endless story of Ethiopians who are in dire situations because of tyrant Meles. Our opposition leaders, academic professional Ethiopians, the well connected and well established rich Ethiopian business owners, have the moral responsibility to hire a Law Firm to bring the destitute Ethiopians case to the International Refuge Organization and end the Ethiopian in Kenya who are being humiliated and treated like criminals.
On the arret, dentention and conviction (fines or custodial sentences) of Somalis in Kenya, see Human Rights Watch’s report, “Welcome to Kenya.” The same issues apply to Ethiopians. http://www.hrw.org/en/reports/2010/06/17/welcome-kenya-0
