Ethiopian People’s Patriotic Front (EPPF) has announced that it has made a change of leadership. According to a statement EPPF released yesterday, Commander Meskerem Atalay is no longer the chairman of the front.
The statement, which was signed by vice-chairman of EEPF, Meazaw Getu, expressed appreciation for the contributions that Commander Meskerem made to the EPPF for the past three years.
The statement said that due to heath problems, Commander Meskerem, who is currently in Germany receiving medical treatment, is unable to return to the field and carry out his responsibilities.
EPPF is also going through a major organizational restructuring. It will announce the new leadership and organizational structure shortly.
The EPPF fighters are currently operating in several parts of northern Ethiopia carrying out military action against the Woyanne brutal dictatorship.
EPPF is a member of the Alliance for Freedom and Democracy (AFD), which includes the Coalition for Unity & Democracy Party (Kinijit), the Oromo Liberation Front (OLF), the Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF), and Sidama Liberation Front (SLF).

Many, who would like to see freedom and democracy in Ethiopia, want to know about the movement and the leadership quality of EPPF… it seems that all kind of leadership in Diaspora is in crisis. More than anything else this will have a big impact to the young gallant patriots, who are ready to sacrify, their life. Needless to say nothing good can come from Diaspora. The struggle should be within the country. EPPF will be the turning point to take part in this regard. I think it is a good proposal, our brother Elias will be travel to the front line, to take his part in the struggle. He will be an excellent asset to the movement. He can even broadcast unfalsfied news via the internet, at least twice in a week from the EPPF command center. He has a gut to tell the truth. He has many qualities, he can be a good organizer, coordinator, and team leader

The struggle is much more stronger when it is based both inside and outside and learn to support each other for the one and the only one vison and mission. That is libeartion from Wayane dictatorship.
Refining the planning,Organizing, Coordination, commitment,leadership control and networking with like minded people both locally and globally is paramount. Only being based inside alone and suffocate the struggle means, acting as a grilled duck for the TPLF’s small breakfast. No struggle is only national in the 21st century.
Even PM. Meles is waging war both nationally and internationally for the sole purpose of keeping his TPLF dictatorship in power. So why limit yourself willingly?

Another organizational change. What is this how many organizationl changes are they going through before evern shooting a bullet. Even the leader is now sick before leading an army (invisible army). This peaple are ridiculous. Kinjit is fighting even before taking any action now there is so called organizational changes. Ask the entertainer Solomon Teka who visited the the banda in Eritrea. He said he didn’t see any army at all. It is all an imagination. By the way I would advice Ethioipiasn not to donate any money to any of this organizations until we see any kind of real result.
Liberia’s government has started moves to seize the assets of former President Charles Taylor – on trial on war crimes charges in The Hague.
The bill, which also covers the property of Mr Taylor’s relatives and associates, has been passed to Liberia’s parliament
when the time comes, TPLF members and their associate will be treated the same way. It is just a waiting game and for sure the time will come.

You missed the whole point what Melke Tsadek try to convey to you.In effect he is voicing The frastrations of the many Ethiopians.That the current diaspora politics is in deep trable.I will add the problem is not just organizational,but tactical and strategical .This and other developments says the above comentator will have negative effect on the morale and performance behavour of the young Ethiopians in duty.There fore he propposed the need for E.P.P.F to rely for its financial and moral support from those who are deeply rooted and grounded in Ethiopian soil:in other words native Ethiopians not on the diaspora crowd.
Like wise,he sensed some individuals in the diaspora are exception from the above generalization-he mentioned Elias as a man who stood up against weyane,to continue his struggle by reporting from the front:he want him to co-ordinate and organize the sleeping diaspora.

Only few people are supporting the diaspora crowd;the majority dont believe the strategy of begging will change any thing.Hence, they decided not to contribuite-they see it doing so is waisting valuable time.They will be involved only when a leadership acknowledge the strategic failure ,and be willing to change.That is why we really need to give moral and financial support to E.P.P.F.
If EPPF stands truly for Ethiopia and for unity, it needs to make itself more visible to the Diaspora in order to attract political and material support. In order to dislodge the Woyanes, there is a need to have organizations like EPPF.
Woyanes believe in violence and that is the only way to get rid of them. Hope EPPF is ready to do that. I also hope EPPF is truly dedicated to democracy and human rights in Ethiopia.

For Dawit and all the rest of you who are asking for the leaders to be more visible and even suggesting Elias to be one of the leaders, i have a very big suspecion as to the genuity of your comments. I don’t see the need for visiblity unless to help their enemy.
