Berhanu Nega embarks on European tour

Berhanu Nega, the leader of Ginbot 7 Movement for Democracy and Justice in Ethiopia, has arrived in London today where he was warmly received by several supporters.

Dr Berhanu will speak at a public meeting tomorrow afternoon in London and heads to several other European cities to meet with Ethiopians, as well as officials of European governments.

Berhanu Nega will not face supporters only during his tour. Retired communists associated with a defunct political group named EPRP are getting organized to hold protest demonstrations against Dr Berhanu. The commies, who are led by the son-in-law of Ethiopia’s President Girma, have also started spreading misinformation through their trashy web sites that the public meeting in London Sunday has been canceled. All scheduled public meetings will go on as scheduled. If there is any change of schedule, it will be posted on ginbot7.org.

According to Ginbot 7 Press Office, Dr Berhanu’s European tour is as follows?

Sunday 08/June – London, public meeting
Thursday 12/June – The Netherlands, meeting with supporters
Friday 13/June – Nuremburg, meeting with Germany government officials
Saturday 14/June – Nuremburg, public meeting
Sunday 15/June – Frankfurt, Meeting with government officials
Monday 16/June – Norway Meeting with government officials
Thursday 19/June – Sweden, meeting with diplomats
Tuesday 24/June – Belgium, meeting with supporters
Thurs 26/June – Depart for Washington DC

    I am in support of Ginbot7 100% or any force that will remove TPLF mafia dynasty. We are almost in the last hour of loosing our only motherland we have time to fight not for poletical speech so, do you think this tour is benefitial?.   2. DR. Birhanu, I salute you for the good work you are doing. You are one of the saviours of Ethiopia by pulling her forcefully out of the jaw of the beast Meles Zenawi and his collaborators. I know the work ahead for you is not easy and needs a lot of Energy and courage. You have a lot of follwers that believe in your movement’s vision and are ready to do what ever is possibe and what ever it takes. God will be always with us bro. March froward. No looking back. We will succeed, because our struggle is to free the many held captive by a very few that are evil and do not have any reservation to destroy our country, its rich hearitage and history.

  3. We are paying attention to which websites are providing accurate information, which websites are proviging inaccurate information and we are also paying attention to which sites are feeding us false information knowing that it’s false information.

    The credibility of these sites has hit rock bottom. I fail to see any benefit to any website owners, parties and groups that comes out of a WHITE LIE. What else are these websites lying about? That is the big picture.

As an insider, I am very happy to see politically matured and motivated people like Dr. Birehanu who have been facing real challenges together with fellow Ethiopian and able to understood all the tactics of the Meles regime. This is the kind of struggle that the Ethiopian people are waiting for so long. I know the way a head is not easy since the regime has invested a lot but Dr. Birehanu and his followers will harvest the fruit of their seeds shortly as the majority of the Ethiopian are concluded no way other than unity and all forms of struggle. Finally, I strongly encourage Dr. Birehanu and his members for their wonderful job.

I would like to support #5 to encourage #1 not to be dissapointed on the latest activities of Birhanu, because in this modern world propaganda and diplomacy plays decisive role to any struggle like ours. so Ginbot7 is right in charting the way forward to meet supporters and diplomats and this needs our undivided support.

This a good sign of audacity and persistence despite the enormous and ovewhelming problems we have faced after the glimpse hope of begining a long road to reconstruct the ideologic crisis in our mother land. I believe in this new initiative we should all participate and contribute our efforts emphatically, yet keeping in mind we should be thinking more than tender, emotion based, short lasting movement based only stringent principles and core values that will keep us all together and bring on our allies and independent people on board. we shouldnt forget about those who are complacent, divisive people who in one way or another want to utilize the the current situation in Ethiopia. At this juncture it would be best strategically to involve the new generation actively or systematically so that we will have coherent and solid movement. My personal suggestion would be not only a manifesto but also an ideologic move that would trickle down from the elites of our country down to the people who are living in the inaccessible areas is a good move. We need an ideologic revolution and Dr. Birhanu is one of a person that can bring this agenda to all who are concerened about Ethiopia.I truly and sincerely appreciate and support your intentions, thank you Dr. Birhanu
