Dear Mr Scharfen,

It has come to my attention that thousands of members of the Tigrean People Liberation Front (TPLF), the party that is currently ruling Ethiopia, are applying for and being granted political asylum in the United States. Many of these ‘political refugees’ are close family members of the TPLF (also call themselves Woyannes, meaning ‘bandits’) regime officials. Officials of the Ethiopian government manufacture evidences for them claiming that they are members of opposition parties. Some of these asylum seekers have been directly involved in the torture and murder of Ethiopian civilians.

I believe that it is a gross injustice to grant political asylum in the United States to these criminals whose organization is terrorizing the people of Ethiopia, and who are the main reason that hundreds of thousands of Ethiopians fleeing their country, including myself.

I am willing to provide any assistance you need to track down, identify and take legal action against these members and supporters of the TPLF regime who are violating the laws of the United States by filing false claims of persecution.

I am one of the victims of the TPLF regime. I have been convicted by the regime’s kangaroo court of treason and sentenced to life in prison after the prosecutor demanded that I get a death penalty. My only crime is publishing a journal named Ethiopian Review that has been banned from Ethiopia since 1995.

    If there is any fact about any individual that is already granted an asylum or with pending petition that is remotely involved with crime, the US government does not grant asylum and immunity from crime.

    With facts we can get these blood suckers and their associates sent back where the came from. However, we must provide clear evidence not circumstantial.

Elias please contact VOA and German Radio in order to interview you therefore every TPLF member and supporter will know wherever they are including in Ethiopia or else where after now we will fight them in all means there is no more free ride for them, please do it as soon as you can. think what you brought even the Hodams like Agerfikir radio Niguse, And Ethiopia idiot Yowusef etc. will be even get frightened More over when you ask VOA and German radio tell them you are not calling them for your own name recognition or to benefit yourself rather tell them that you are tired of their coruption even here in America so tell them for both radio stations and for other medias you are worning TPLF members and its supporters will not anymore take the legitimate politically persecuted Ethiopian non Tigrean rights please contact soon all the media you think it will relay the message to those greedy criminal Tigrean based TPLF Mafia scum bags.

  9. Mr. Elias,you don’t have the courage and responsibility to write this type of letter.who are you after all?how could they specifically identify those from TPLF and others?
    Such type of letter will really negatively affect those real asylum seekers from Ethiopia;don’t be directed only by your emotions,think twice before posting such types of general comments.
    I knew that you were good guy,but please don’t repeat such mistakes which will directly affect all Ethiopian asylum seekers because they will definetly not able to screen as such and identify TPLF and others………..am really sorry to read this from you

    Thanks for the good job. This is grrrrrreat!Please send them the list and expose the child killers,corrupt and thief TPLF cadres. Homelans Security is rejecting the claims of genuine political assylum seekers and is granting assylum to TPLF spies and people known to have their favour. Is is shame shame shame. Letus stand united!!.
