Endrias Eshete, who is known as the butcher of Addis Ababa University, has arrived at Dulles Airport in Washington DC today. He was taken to a van provided by the Woyanne embassy in a wheelchair. The tutor of Meles Zenawi’s daughter, Samuel Assefa, who also acts as an ambassador of Ethiopia in Washington DC, was at the airport to greet him.

Meles Zenawi appointed Endrias Eshete as head of the Addis Ababa University to stamp out any criticism of the Woyanne tribal junta by the university’s faculty and students. Endrias allowed, and often invited, Meles’s death squads, the Agazi special forces, and the notorious Federal police to enter the AAU campus and attack the students. Under Endrias’s watch thousands of AAU students have been savagely attacked, tortured, imprisoned and killed.

Endrias Eshete and Ambassador Samuel Assefa are old time drinking buddies (both full time drunkards) and close friends of Meles Zenawi’s family. Samuel is a personal tutor and chaperon of Meles’s older daughter. When she was admitted to Georgetown University in Washington DC about two years ago, Meles removed the previous ambassador, Kassahun Ayele, and sent Samuel Assefa — who has no diplomatic experience — to DC as an ambassador. Samuel’s main job, however, is not diplomacy. He is a personal servant to the dictator’s daughter.

  1. It is sad to see a person like Endrias, who is really genius, is a loyal servant to morons and meatheads like Meles and Bereket. I was taught by him at AAU before he was appointed as a president. He is a qualified and well regarded professor. But his affiliation with this fascist regime marred his reputation. Samuel and Endreas are a typical example for those who argue that excelling in academics doesn’t mean you have high moral values and ideals.

  4. Before he arrived at Washington DC he was in Cape Town. He was treated reportedly for a major stroke. The cost of his hospitalization was reportedly paid by Al Hamoudi.

    Endrais Eshete lost his credibility after he was associated with Meles and failed to report adequately about the EPLF abuse of Ethiopians in 1991 and 1992. Endrais is one of the founders of the so called Inter Africa group; a sort of tink tank and money begging bag. Sources close to the university state that his salary was paid by donors, including UNESCO. He never got a formal professorial rank from Addis Ababa University. In fact neither the Department of Philosophy nor the Senate of the University formally considered his candidacy for a professorial rank.

    Endrias has no a meaningful life as he is seen bound to hell on his luxury Sedane; as for that Kat addict, Samuel Assefa, not only he wasting his mind for servicing his crime boss and soon he would be tossed away as he is not good einough to speak the mind of the crimefamily of Meles Naziawi.

    Andreas Eshete might have made the mistake of working with Meles, but he is not an enemy. You attack people to stoop them from doing harmful things, but if they in acodition Andreas is in, any attacj relects the stupidity of the attacker not the attacked. There is a saying in Ethiopia which runs thus:” yemote sew angete KiTil new.”, and it means a dead person cannot and should not be blamed.

  16. It is important to remember that Endrias’s first act of betrayal of Ethiopians came within weeks of him visiting Eritrea along with a certain Jemil. He argued on Ethiopian TV that the Shabia were right to beat, rob ,humiliate and expel hudreds of thousands of Ethiopians south of the border when they took over Asmara with the complicity of Meles Zenawi and his mercenary accomplices in the TPLF.

    If any Ethiopians are serious enough about avenging for their fellow countrymen, they should track him down and expose him to the American people for the criminal man he truly is.

    Wow!thanks to God,he is paying the price for what the evil thing he has done in the past.
    This is the guy who brought partiality in AAU.This is one of the mentally blinded persons who let police to blast bomb in Sidist kilo and then blamed Amhara and Oromo students,and finally let them drop out.This man is also one of the stupids who blocked scholarship to many under and postgraduate students still favouring a certain ethinic group.We will see much more woyane tags with disabilities and deadily diseases.

  23. I was at AAU at that time when he gave permission for those killers. I know that everyone gets his pay check for the time he/she spent at work.

    The life of the students killed at that time will hunt all of them. We will see. We don’t have to use gun like they used on us. When the time comes, they will get what they worked for.

    I remember a time when Endrias was the epitome of health, good looks and erudition.

    Now look at him, he can not even walk. How sad a promising life has to end this way…sadder still there is no one to mourn it.

    You are a drop out from PG county comunity college, how in the world do you say such stuff about, Dr. Sami and Endrias. I had a chance to take a course with Dr. Sami while he was a professor @ AAU, did you know how many students that are not admited to his class attend every class that he used to give. There used to be a fight to get a seat, some students used to stand in an empty space in the class room just to get a glimps of wisdome from him. Ere please ere please Ato Elias.

    it is some thing to accuse a person of his wrong doings, but it is degrading to read such misrepresentation of people like Andreas and Samuel, whom by any standard are two of the few qualified people we have. I agree with comments 1 and 3 though.

  47. It’s interesting to see how much time people take out of their lives to slander the names of individuals they have probably never met. It is equally interesting to read the ranges of lies that people comment about. I would prefer not to insult anyone, especially those I have never met, but there are some statements that I would like to refute. First, to Belay, Aster is in no way related to Azeb, so I have no idea where you pulled the name “Aster Mesfin” from. Second, to Senzero, Andreas was never married to Aster and the two of them never had a child, so I suggest you check your facts before you spew them onto such blogs. The only wife Andreas has ever had is my mother and the only son he has is me. Now, I can’t preach to you people, and I do not mean all of the people that have been posting because there are those that have been commenting with a hint of sensibility, but I suggest you stick to facts you know for sure and keep the fallacies inside your homes.
