The Meles dictatorship this week has agreed to give Sudan a large tract of fertile land near Atbara River in the Gonder region, northwestern Ethiopia. The agreement was not reported by any of the state- controlled media in Ethiopia. Even the rubber-stamp parliament was not informed about it, let alone give its consent. Ethiopians in the Gonder region were also unaware of this major development.
This is the second time for Gonder to lose a large fertile land. When the ruling Tigray People’s Liberation Front (Woyanne) came to power in 1991, it appropriated the Humera farmland to the Tigray region. That decision continues to be highly controversial.
The latest land giveaway is even more significant both politically, economically and historically to Gonder, and Ethiopia, in general. The fact that it was done secretly without the consultation of even the rubber-stamp parliament may later on cause sever problems for the Meles regime.
According to observers, the give away Gonder’s fertile land to Sudan is intended to bribe the Sudanese government not to allow Ethiopian freedom fighters to operate in its territory.

This is part of the grand plan to dismantle the country by chipping away pieces of the land to all possible neighbors. First give Assab to Eritrea, then give away Badme and part of Agame awraja, now the whole west belt of Gondar, next maybe Gambela and so forth. This is all the result of non-Ethiopians at the helm of the country. The longer they stay the more shrinkning of the country will increase exponentially.
The Present Ethiopian Government forgot some thing when
he bargained with Sudan. The peoples living inside this land want to be only ethiopians and this could be a throat bone for Sudan for another 100 years. Time will tell us that something bad is moving toward a chaos in the Horn of Africa. I’m afraid that the flame will envolve Sudan , Ethiopia , Eritrea, Somalia, Djibuti, kenya, uganda and even will extend to Yemen, Egypt , etc.
I hope the good will come for the peoples living inside these mentioned states. But, let wait and see until dictators will vanish.

Woyane is paying the country sovereignty with a vast fertile land and abandon of fresh water as a bribe to a foreign nation in order to stay in power. This is another cruel and inhuman move except woyane in the name of Tigry but no one else the entire globe could do.

This sad news conducted by woyane secretly against the Ethiopian sovereignty must be heard by Diaspora Ethiopians and all over the country. Media groups and individuals have to participate and work together in order to inform and aware the people what is going on against the country sovereignty.
TPLF created slaves so called ANDM in Bahir Dar and elsewhere must be targeted including their family members. They are the nr.1 enemy serving woyane as slaves against the people interest. Let alone other development activities, they are not even able to repair the Bahir Dar airport terminal damaged by woyane 17 years a go and still is not working. The same time TPLF trade mark EFFORT has 90 companies and constructed among the many other development activities 10 airports in Tigry. People need to wake up and make TPLF created slaves so called ANDM members and their supporters targets in the fight against woyane. The reason why woyane is doing this because of they are there serving woyane. The land of Amoraw will stay as part of Begemeder Gonder not to an Islamic Nation(Sudan).
I think ER has made a big error by characterzig the loss of the Ethiopian land to the sudan as a loss for Gondar region. Any way, the tplf and the people of tigray for the last 16 years has showed us their true color and contempt toward the Ethiopian people. Their chest has swollen beyoned recognition. The question is, therefore, why wouldn’t Woyane handover Badme to Eritrea? Is it becuase Badme is belong to Tigrai region where as Dellelo is from Gonder? In fact, the area which is to be given to Sudan is much fertile than Badme.

The giving away of the land in the state of Gondar signals T.P.L.F is about to declare her independent state.The only way it can sustain its survival is by forging close relationshp with Eritria and Sudan. Mass Arrest of Ethiopians in Sudan
Following the news of the Ethiopia handing over its lands to Sudan, the Sudanese government has started door-to-door search arresting Ethipoians suspected of sympathising with opposition political groups such as the EPPF. Many people particularly those of the Wolqait-Tegede origin have been targeted and are currently in detention by Sudanese authorities. Some have managed to escape this crackdown and are currently in hiding.
According to the news report by Sudan Tribune, the Ethiopian government has agreed to hand over the lands to the Sudan while Sudan would return the favor by imprisoning Ethiopians suspected of sympathising with Ethiopian political opposition groups.
Sources close to me indicate that some of my family members and relatives have either been incarcerated or are in hiding at the moment.
Ethiopians in the Diaspora (USA, Europe, and Australia) should contact their respected representatives and senators and demand to voice their concern and halt of this human rights abuses.

What’s the big fuzz about it?Does anyone of you know for fact that those ‘fertile’ lands rightly belonged to ethiopia? Giving or taking land can’t be said to be right or wrong without looking into the conditions.
Ethiopia has a land bigger than Germany,UK and Spain combined but it is nowhere to be found on the chart of any welfare indicator,let alone compare to them.

There is a poems from the population in the Gondar region dated back to the Mohammed Grange campAINE: Alew Alew Ena BeMatebu Tena. Mohamed Grange a religious warrior on his right fought and won many wars: Harar, Shewa, Elibabour, Wollo and Tigray. Then he headed toward Gondar. His bravity and war game plan become known and many DeJazmachs were terrorized by his success and were not sure if they will win the war aganist him. People of the Gondar region and their Dajazmachs clearly understood if they lost the war they have to convert into Islam. One of the Dajazmach told his fighters “our war is about our Mateb” If we won the war we will be with our Meteb if lost then we do not have Mateb. Mohamed Grange with many horse ridding warriors and the Gondar fighters began hand in hand batle in Denkez, not far from the town of gondar (35 Km.) Many lives lost on both sides, but Mohammed’s army were the most suffered. When Mohammed relized his men are loosing the war he himself ride a horse and began the batle. in that critical moment he was killed and his body and all his army surrenderd. Then in the town of Gondar the celiberation began – “Alew Alew ENa BeMatebu Tena””.. Now the Tigre are more proud more than they can afford: they anex lands which is not their, they divide the country into ethnic line, They deny the country access to port, they told us that our country history is 100 years old, they challenged us to go to bush and fight with them. They were cooperative with sudan when a new dam was constracted in Merawe on our own water, they are cooperating with the Sudan when sudanese citizens cross the border and burn our forest and wild animals for the last 16 years (including from wolega and Gojam areas).
