ONLF condemn the arrest of two of its top leaders

(AFP) – Ethiopia’s Ogaden rebels on Thursday condemned the arrest of two of their top leaders by the authorities of Somalia’s northern breakaway Puntland region.

The Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) said its leaders were arrested on Tuesday. “The two ONLF political prisoners were removed by force from their hotel in Garowe in central Somalia by security forces of the Puntland administration,” the rebel movement said in a statement.

The two ONLF leaders were then driven in the personal vehicle of Puntland’s finance minister back to the Ogaden border and handed over to Ethiopian Woyanne security, the rebel group said.

  1. I am weighting to see handover Elias from America to ethiopia. I want to see him in Kalit prison place with side of Teddy Afro.
It is not funny this guy is terriest more than ONLF!

  2. Worku –
The only terrorist in East Africa is Woyanes. Worku puppets like you deserve to face justice. The terrorist regime of Ethiopia will be eradicated by the struggle of true sons and daughter’s of Ethiopia. Elias is a genuine Ethiopian.
    ” Woosha bebelabet yichohal”

  3. Worku you woyane idiots have no response other than “eserew gidelew”. You will soon be blucked out of your nook and crannys and pay the prices for all these crimes. The social and political expolosive you are sitting on will explode. Please get back to your senses and save our common country. You will loose much more than anybody. Long live ONLF, OLF, and the resistance that will soon transform into armed resistence.

  4. For u a guy like teddy afro is a terrorist b/s he preached unity and love by his songs.Worku please give back love for those who gave/showed you the taste of love and unity like teddy afro.

  5. I smell a moran in here…..worku please wash ur brain and make sure its clean from hate….if you deslike Elias Kefle its understandable but to hate Teddy Afro b/c of his positive message makes u a moran…..

Teddy is an enoucent Ethiopian with an only guilt of eager to unite and bring peace with in his mother land Ethiopia….

    ohh fa

  6. To Worku
Your are not Gold, you are so cheap!
Improve your way of writing-spelling-before blaming Teddy as a terrorist.
    You are typical terrorist rather.
Did you see how many people are against you just in seconds?

  7. Assta B. Gettu
    For your question:
Elias is a terorist b/s he is supporting ONLF, OLF and Eritrea. We all hate woyane, but we should not support anti-Ethiopian groups.

  8. Why I want to see Mr Elias Kifle in Ethiopian court and get his fair court days of national treason:
    1) Working hard and sharing national information to destroy Ethiopia together with Ethiopia’s historical strategic enemies and its national security threats (e.g., SHAEBIA, Quatar, Libya, and Egypt).
    2) Helping to mobilizing enemy resources and information (such as Shabia and the eastern Islamists who officially declared Jihad war on Ethiopia)
    3) Officially degrading and downgrading the couragous sacrifices paid by Ethiopians in the Ethiopian army; and conguratulating the enemy and standing on the side of Ethiopias foreign enemies.
    4) Terrorising citizens by misinformation and disinformation; irresponsible media handlling; undermining Ethiopias long term unity and existenece by antagonizing one ethinic group agains the orher; using deragotary langauge; backward politics
    5) …many more

Two things I would like to say:

    1) I do not want to see Elias in prison just because I don’t like his deeds though. Rather, I want to see Elias properly challenged, held accountable for and urged to give explanations for his harmful deeds on Ethiopia. A fair prosecution where he is given time to rethink what he has been doing.
    2) All these is with the assumption that Mr Elias is Ethiopian. If not, Mr Elias like any enemy mouthpiecs is left to the junggle to try out every thing enemies can do on Ethiopia. My reaction in that case is ordinary!

I know, my comment will not be able to pass Mr Elias’s censorship this time. Why? because I have asked sincere questions on him, which would continue to nag him for ever. In fact, that’s where I aim at. The pradox is Mr Elias claims he is a mouthpices of anti media censorship!

    Sincerely,

    an Ethiopian citizen

  9. It is purely insane to talk about Elias in court/jail….He has the right to express, publish, say, think, whisper, shout, print, ect what ever he feels like….If one disagree, he can voice that by saying I disagree with this statement because of this, that…argumentation….NOW believing that a journalist will go to jail for expressing his opinion is a proof of ones “democratic limitations” and i may say of intellectual limitations( ie not being able to formulate an counter argument.

My understanding is that by focusing on Elias, you divert from the real issue. Fellow country men, women, and children who are in a horrible predicament in Ogaden, ETHIOPIA. I WANT EVERYBODY TO PUT YOURSELF IN THE SHOES OF A SOMALI ETHIOPIAN WHO LIKE ALL OF US LOVES HIS MOTHERLAND….
He is stuck between, a rock, a hardplace, rebels, gov, poverty, and somalia on the other side….

His only hope was HIS PEOPLE, his brothers and sisters from all over Ethiopia that should stand to defend the livelyhood of their countrymen. BUT instead We get sucked in the politics…Ethnic politics…( Ay bakeh, ye Ogaden tewelajoch megentel new mifelegut) We are responsible for not trusting in their commitment to Ethiopia…Past politics…( Eritrea is trying to destabilize, Eritrean gov should have been dealt with a decade ago, )…Has anyone attempted to do it right, empower the people, give them their fair share of Ethiopianism, politically, economically, culturally….the answer is no….
So what s left for the Ethnic Somali….Find a cause and die for it….We all loose

  10. Dear, Elias in court?
Your opinion is the most just of all on this issue. We Ethiopians will have to try hard to reclaim our hijacked but pure conscience and argue justly the way our fore fathers (like king-philosopher Zeraayaqob) had done.
