  1. Viva ONLF. It is funny only Ogadeni’s have the gut to fight the Tigray war lords. All the false lies that say (Ethiopiawi Jegna naw) is fabrication while the reality is that our men are worse than the women when it comes to courage. I don’t support ONLF for their sessession plan, but i give them a thumb-up for their courage and determination to fight the brut of Tigre-war lords. and i am not going to go in their way if they achieve independence through sacrifice.

  2. Hi Ethiopians,

This fighters are fighting for the independence of the region as they said during the interview.
Are we struggling for a union or dismantling the country into pieces?

IS the 21st century reqiures to be larger or falling into pieces of land?

DO we win the enemies of the century(poverty, disease, ignorance)by being smaller or larger?

DON’T you know that behind all this fighters are our enemies such as neighbouring countries who want to see us down and them up?

My friends! It is not a time to sleep. All the fighters are working not for the people of the country. They work for those who pays them. A tribal organization is a good way for the enemy countries to destruct us. All and every questions in the country should be solved under the union. To be part of tribal organization means to work for the agenda of the enemies neibouring countries. These organizations have been hijaked by enemies long time ago. They are no more fighters for the people. Time and money has changed them.

What we should do is we should take the peoples question they hang up from them and fight for the people under the union.

Politics which devisive, hate monger, destructive should be unacceptable. We should challenge them.

THE EDITOR! Such news doesn’t represent the majority. As a reprter you have to be selective. You can be selective as long as you are to the majority side. News which is devil in nature shouldn’t be reported.

For your information most of the central and some in the south area which is located now in the Oromia region belongs to Hadiya and Kembata people. It was taken by the Oromos in the 15th century during their immigration to the north. We will get it back by organizing ourselves with all Ethiopians. We are not people for land. We are poeple for peace, progress, democracy, unity and development. We love to live with people. We don’t hate people. Fist comes always being human then common objective. Others like language, tribe, area etc are something which recreat us.

    Thank you.

  3. While you say union blah blah,… a group that can undo the TPLF is on the making. ONLF surely speaks the language TPLF understands. The rest of opposition are either bowed down to Meles or are out of the game due to their egoist nature.

If there is an organization that have a chance to chase TPLF out of the areas it controls and steal the wealth of the people, it is only ONLF.

It doesn’t require one to be an Economist phd, Doctorate or degrees to out play TPLF. All it needs is a simple logic. That is to play the Race card. Advocating for Ethiopian unity is the source of all laziness. First liberate your kins and then you have time to work for the bigger Ethiopia. The logic is simple, the one party, one language and once culture administration of TPLF need to leave all the areas and go to Tigray in which it has the right to abuse its own citizens

  4. Mr BUNTU you are hilarious! But i have a question for you,has any people ever been seen to give up their territory of their own free? The same way OGADENS will not renounce the struggle as long as their country is occupied by TPLF rats. The question that speaks volume is:what coused them to carry a GUN? It is becouse of this number one convicted human righ abuser{zenawi},and mistakenly acknowledged by UN as leader .

  5. Dear Editor,

I was reading this article and discussing the issue with friends here. We found Bultu’s remark very interesting and we think you should respond. We sense that you are unbiased reporter.

    Thank you,
    Ethiopians in Casper, Wyoming

    ——————

Kiflu, who said ER editor is unbiased. I am extremely biased against Woyanne’s atrocities. – Elias

  6. Thank you Bultu,
Excellent observation. Although Woyanie is a cancer and shoud be erdicated from Ethiopia by any means, I don’t believe cessionist group like ONLF and others would be a lesser evil. We need to solve our problem under the frame work of Greater Ethiopia, not a pieces of it.

  7. How come! some of you, including ER editor, supporting an anti-Ethiopia groups like ONLF. Please get a pause and think twice and make up your mind not to advertise anti-Ethiopian groups. We all are fighting in many aspects to abolish the brutal TPLF’s one party ruling. However, do you think ONLF, OLF, Eritrea… etc. are in favor of a good democratic Ethiopia? I don’t think so! The notion of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” does not always hold true and it can even be a serious enemy.

  8. Hi,Elias we ogadenian are fighting for ower freedom, to the right of nations for self determination, every fair-minded person must agree that TPLF gangs have been using us by sending their loyal servants to the region,we are not free, our goal is the same as other Ethiopian those who are suffering under the brutal TPLF minority rule, let’s come together for real democratic solution, let’s come together to get rid of the ethinic juntas of Tigrai who dream to rule the whole of the horn region by gun, Every Ethiopian man or women must be honest to stand for our cause and to highlight the plight of the present Ogaden situation, otherwise we can’t see the light at the end of the tennel. Allah Bless Ogaden !!!!

  9. Here it goes!
Woyane- Eprdf is doing what it can to destroy the country from its very beginning: Land locking the country by helping and granting seccesion to Eritrea, bending down and giving away the land after letting 70K Ethiopian soldiers died and won the Badme war, now giving away West Gondar to unsolicited request to Sudan.
DERG WAS DICTATOR BUT TPLF(MELES) IS DICTATOR AND ITS GOAL IS TO DESTROY ETHIOPIA. MY FRIENDS, MELES IS THE FIRST DICTATOR LEADER IN THE WORLD WHO RULES A COUNTRY AND PEOPLE THAT HE UNDERMINE AND HATE, WHAT A BAD LUCK TO ETHIOPIANS!

  10. TPLF willn’t have peace with any other ethio organisation and they will continue their feints until they are trully threatened. It is TPLF’s words{terorist, second clas,..}mixed with their action{rape, murder, genocide,….blocking food..}that gives validity to the couse of ONLF..and every one with sense knows this including ELIAs.. Tplf lovers watching this video will become Deaf,Dome,&blind

  11. Thank you Mr. Elias for responding. We understand and pay due respect for your personal choice. We also read Mr. Omer’s comment. We thank him for giving us some insight into the roots of the mayhem that begotten the whole Ogaden region. As sincere compatroits we hope it did not get to this blood-letting point. But we have a question for Mr. Omer and also for you Mr. Elias. Why the need of fighting alone? If the goal of ONLF is liberate the Ogaden people on the way to a united and democratic country, why then is the need to do it under the name which denotes separation from the rest your brothers in the country we know as Ethiopia? Why not form an organization along with other concerned Amharas, Tigrians, Oromos and others and conduct a struggle by applicable means(peaceful or otherwise) and get rid of proven evils? Do you believe that the source of your struggle is colonial and not suppression by a homeboy regime? There are individuals from that part of the country who live in nearby towns and we had a very lively and nononesense discussion about this. They don’t believe it is a colonial question. What is your and ONLF’s opinion? Please shed some light on this issue. God(Allah) Bless You ALL!!!!

  12. Kiflu,
is it a colonial question? yes and no. truely speaking our people feel we are under occupation. reason is we didn’t join the union by choice. and ever since we joined Ethiopia it has been war and war and war. The rulers of Ethiopia current and past thing they can humilate us and govern us. They treat us like group of nomads who know better and should accept whatever is done to us. their choice take our subjugation or leave and go to Somali( remeber the land stays behind).
No- in todays world bigger is better and we don’t mind to stay and remain part of ethiopia- not as a second class citizens but first rate Ethiopians.
your other question of why not join other tribes such as Amharas to oppose the current regime. Simple answer, you guys want to fight from the cafee shops and in jails. That is not fight we know. real fight then we can talk.
What happens if our group wins the war. Sorry to say but just another dictator will kill another group of fellow human beings- sadi isn’t?

  13. Dear Mr. Kiflu,
anyone who knows the complxties of Ethiopian politics can understand why we failed as a nation, I personally believe that the ogadenian the oromo the afar the Amhara would be better off fighting under the Ethiopian political fram-work,for a common good, but just try to see our all over situation? we are far from being united even among the Amharas among the oromos, etc, unity become just a dream for Ethiopian politics we rather can be united by economic necessity in the long run, now our main objective must be to get rid of the cancer of Ethiopian 21st politics TPLF.If together we manage to do so we could be able to overcome our other differnces by peacefull means,no Dergue no Hailesslase divided Ethiopian on ethinc line and declared hatred except TPLF, our collective motto must be tolerance not to be victime of TPLF destructive and divisive propaganda, unity against all evil should be a winner!!

  14. Thank you Mr. Omer and Mr. Hassan.

First of all, Mr. Hassan, I am not a pure Amhara. My Mother was born to an Oromo mother and Amhara father. My father was born to an Eritrean mother and an Oromo mother. I never consider myself exclusive of one ethnic group. My family was really tired of being identified to one ethnic group or another when I was growing up. I remember my sister when she was called into the school director’s office and being told off when she put all ethnic groups in her profile. So Mr. Hassan, I was asking the question just to be educated. If you classify me as Amhara, please feel free to do so. If you call me an Oromo, you are right. If you call me an Eritrean, go right ahead. And I never espouse of fighting tyranny from coffee shops and jails. I have been just concentrating on making a living here for almost 40 years. That was why I was asking an innocent question. Thank you Mr. Omer. You have educated me. May God be with you all and lead you to your promised land with no or minimum damage to all humanity. I will continue to ask questions in the future when and if I need to be educated. I strongly believe I have a God given right to do so. God(Allah) Bless!!!!!!
