I was born in Addis Abeba in 1981. I was adopted at the age of 2 to a family in Denmark. Unfortunatelly I don´t speak my native language, Amharic. So I would like to ask you whether this interview is going to be conducted in English or Amharic? I would appreciate if you could answer this question. Thank you for your dedication.

It is going to be in Amharic.
elias can you ask please ato beyan what his party (OLF) is doing for HR2003. because everytime he heared about other groups who are doing someting to pass HR2003. please ask him what concret are they doing now … when they said they support HR2003
thank you
Elias Could You ask him if these `guys feel Ethiopian or Not and what is Ethiopian Empyer mean! Do they still feel Ormos are collonized ??The root cause of political problems in Ethiopia is national oppression by the Ethiopian empire state and refusal by the state to respect the rights of oppressed peoples to self-determination. OLF

can He Explain what this all mean ???
Since all Ethiopians do not understand Amharic, can you please translate for us the content of the interview in English.
Thank you.
Most STUPID questions you can ask to OLF:
1. Are you Ethiopian or not?
2. Do you feel Ethiopian?
3. Do you feel colonized by Ethiopia?
4. Why do think of Article 39?
These are stupid question because they are answered implicitly. It is like a doctor asking his patient on an operation table, “do you feel healthy?”
Obviously OLF has a clear answer on those questions if asked blantantly and directly. The questions should focus around the root causes as to why the OLF people feel the way they feel about Ethiopia and Ethiopianness.
The questions must focus on how the diagnosis of the problem and the possible solutions. OLF has its own diagnosis and a solution already. This is where the problem lies:
1. The diagnosis made by OLF may or may not be correct. This should be honestly and wisely discusssed with all Ethiopians
2. Once the diagnosis is complete and agreed upon, there are always multiple solutions possible–not just one as proposed by OLF.
I advise all to focus in these direction…
May the interview be fruitful!!
It is good to ask Dr.Bayan as to his opinion on current affairs including as to what he can do for the HR2003, for example.
In addition to that, it is also faire for us to ask ourselves as to what the HR2003 can do for Dr. Bayan and his organization, seen from their perspectives as well as from perspectives of all.
“…And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what, together, we can do for our country.” John F.Kennedy
I hope that Dr. Beyan will focus on the radical shifts in the OLF’s policy in moving to the centre of Ethiopian politics, the formation of AFD and the continuous need to work together to unseat the repressive TPLF regime by a collective action.
I hope that he would speak in similar tones as Daud Ibssa, Hassan Hussein and Lencho Bati, avoiding traps that send wrong signals to Ethiopians which the enemies of Oromo and of all Ethiopians would use to presist with terror campaigns.
Ato Elias should ask Dr.Beyan as to how to re energize a common platform among Ethiopians in our pursuit for an all-inclusive- democratic government of all Ethiopians and of the coming of a peaceful, cooperative, united and democratic Horn of Africa.

Bravo Dr.Beyyan
I am really happy to share with you such kind of hopeful and important message at this key time.OLF can really handle the future of ethiopia and the horn .Thanks Mr.Kifle for doing such kind of godly job.
Victory for the oppressed people
Very good and honest interview that calls for genuine cooperation in the fight against the repressive TPLF regime. I hope that the opposition would rise to the challenge and we individuals would play a meaningful bridge building role. Many thanks to Dr. Beyan Asoba, the OLF leadership, and Ato Elias Kile/ER.!
Regards
Biri
Many thinks to Elias for the bridge building role. Keep up the good work.
Elais,
This might be the first rime i agree with you i will like Dr. Beyane to be in my town if he is from US i will arrange the Ethiopian meeting if he is willing. I agree with afadi we need to build the bridge.
Dear Elias: Thanks for keeping the dialogue going among many groups of Ethiopia. The interview with Dr. Beyene is very informative. I am encouraged by the openness OLF has shown toward the cause of the Oromos as well as the rest of the Ethiopian people in recent years. I believe it will do good for non-ormomos to listen to oromo issues. Denial of the oppression encountered by the Oromos will not contribute to the unity of ethiopia. Our Ethiopian brothers and sister who cringe when Oromo issues are discussed need to mature up and listen more. Openly listening can foster understanding. Understanding can lead to collaboration and to unity among our people.
Also, Dear Elias, I appreciate your continued effort to move toward being a professional journalist, which means objectively presenting all sides of an issue and allowing your readers to make a judgment on their own. Of course, you are entitled to your opinions when you do your editorials.
Also, Dear Elias, I humbly suggest to you to solicit questions from your readers ahead of interviews with key targets such as Dr. Beyene. For example, the question about the effort by the OLF in support of HR2003 is very critical. If Dr. Beyene is reading this comment, I encourage him to urge his organization to do more advocacy in support of HR2003. HR2003 is believed to put breaks on the relentless human rights abuses that the Ethiopian regime is causing to the Oromo people as well as to the rest of people of Ethiopia who are under tyranny. HR2003 is the make or break for all freedom loving and liberty seeking Ethiopians in the homeland as well as in the Diaspora.
In closing, Elias, I commend your relentless work to bring news and inspiration to your readers. You are the most hard working journalist in the Diaspora.
God Bless You.
keep up the good work Elias
united we will defeat TPLF regime.
and many thanks again for your hard work.
Thanks Elias for your fair and balanced questions and comments. I believe the best alternative for our future peaceful coexistence is such dialogue, discussion and information dissemination. Weyane has successfully brainwashed every group by spreading hate and terror propaganda until now. We should say enough is enough. We have witnessed the shocking situation in Kenya due to few opportunistic aristocrats. To avoid similar situation in Ethiopia, we have to build a bridge between political and civic groups. That will certainly hasten the downfall of Adolf–Meles and his Nazi group.
Thanks agian Elias. Bravo! Galatoomi!
