Siye Abraha from his Dedebit Terrorist Camp to Addis Ababa, made a very long march to destroy our country and humiliate our people. He once was referred as a TPLF Military Commander and later as Minister of Defense, which was his second skin and has since shed that skin without accountability and ceremony and currently shed his third skin to fool us. Regardless of what outfit he wears, Seye Abraha has left our country with many scars and he is accountable for various high crimes.
Even though the criminal Siye Abraha suffers from memory loss, Ethiopians and history will never forget what he did to our people and country. He was one of the criminal gangs who call themselves a government who routinely engage in murder, torture, beatings, systematic abuse, cruel inhuman, degrading treatment and punishment of opponents and innocent citizens and destroyed Ethiopian resources. He is one of the TPLF gangs who were above the law and who chose division over unity. At last, he became hostage of his own wrongdoings and prisoner of his false propaganda. It took him more than three decades to learn in a hard way from his destructive actions and involvement.
He is one who:
• Participated in historical revisionism (negationism) of the history of our country;
• Took part in imposing puppet government on Ethiopians without their will;
• Orchestrated violence by setting one ethnic group against another;
• Was one of the architects to put in place an economic, social and welfare policies which favors one minority ethnic group over the majority and others;
• Betray to dismember Ethiopia and worked with Shaebia;
• Played a role to make Ethiopia landlocked;
• Spearheaded to disband the Ethiopian defense forces;
Siye Abraha is a person who is individually and collectively responsible for his crimes against peace, TPLF military command responsibility, mass murder, ethnic cleansing and crimes on humanity, high treason, war crimes, disappearances of many innocent citizens and many more. In the mid 1990’s, when his power was at its peak, he extended his web of corruption systematically through his family members and friends by giving back-up support using his position. He should be accountable in the court of law for all these crimes before anything. Don’t expect something good to come from a criminal, except his empty pile of words to cover his crimes.
The TPLF gangs will murder your sisters and brothers yesterday and they will expect you to forget it the next morning, and suppose you would dance and dine with them tomorrow. Is that the type of democracy we are struggling for? Is that why we support H.R. 2003? Why a double standard in our actions, where Addisu Legesse was humiliated from East to West and North to South in the big cities of U.S.A.? We need to learn from history, because the past is the basis and the present is the reality that we base our vision for the future. Let us come back to our senses. Shame on those dancing with a criminal!!!

I would like add few points to the above discussion. This person, Seye is also one of the individuals who murdered and tortured hundreds and even thousands of Ethiopians of Welkayt and Tegede origin. Moreover, hundreds have disappered since he along with comrades took power. Many thousands fled their homestead to Sudan, Europe, USA, and Australia. Many thousands have been displaced to cities such as Gondar, Addis Ababa, and significant number of people are currently in Asmara, Eritrea.
All these cruelties are on top of the fact that he has helped in the illegal annexation of these regions (Welkayt and Tegede) to Tigray. Those who have remained and refused to leave their homestead are continually harrased, over-taxed, and penalized for no reason. In addition, they are forced to sell their harvest below market prices to TPLF companies such as Guna and in return these companies sell these products or Export the to China at higher prices and collect millions of revenues.
All these are because of Seye and his cronies.
So, if says he is reformed no, I will say fool me no more!

Dear readers: It is really an insult to our intelligence when Ato Siye tries to tell us he is a true defender of human rights, a solder of truth. What a shameless attempt? As we all know, and like the Geressie said it above, he was one of the architects of this ethnic federalism and the conspircy for the cessation of Eritrea. He is responsible for all of the mascaras that took place in each and every corner of the country during his heydays. The truth of the matter is that he will never be exonerated from his criminal responsibility for the heinous crimes he aggressively committed – even with whatever apology. An apology may serve for the purpose of ones moral purity, but not to avoid a criminal prosecution. If an apology is good enough to wash a criminal’s blood-soaked hand, then the very purpose for which society establishes a penal law system would be defeated. And if this was the case, Hitler, Dr Joseph Mengele, Veneto Mussolini and other similar ruthless criminals would be acquitted from their criminal liabilities after a mere apology.
Besides his blood debt, Siye is also one of the corrupt Woyanie officials who will be held liable for embezzlement of public funds. He abused his illegitimately secured power and stole millions of dollars from the destitute. Do you think he is a millionaire because of his saving from his monthly salary or because he got inheritance from his millionaire dad?
Some pro-tigray websites and individuals argued for a second chance. But why a second chance for a brutal murderer? Is Ethiopia devoid of capable, enthusiastic and charismatic people? Why should we give him another chance? In the first place we didn’t even give him a first chance. He just usurped power by force. Second, the complexity and dynamics of the current global politics calls for gifted intellectuals, all-rounded professionals, and seasoned politicians. As such, people like Siye, only with a certificate from University of Dedebit, become incompetent, inept, and unqualified to effectively lead a great country like Ethiopia.
My friends: Don’t let him deceive you once again. This time you have the power to say NO. He is a criminal. That is it. When the time comes, he will stand a Nuremberg-like trial and sentenced to death. What he is doing right now is trying to prevent this from happening. All his attempts are in vain.

We all agree that human beings commit mistakes but how often and how many times? For instance, If I made a mistake yesterday,I should have to question my self today and I should make some corrections.How often Mr. Siye made crime on Ethiopian people? Why didn’t he regret and didn’t restart doing right things while he was in power? I can say he did all the crime intentionally. He was supposed to question his mind while he was executing uncountable crimes on us during his power. So I don’t need he propagate me for change or democracy after he loses power from Woyane. He knows he will not comeback to power as long as Meles is in power because they will no more trust each other any more? So Mr. Siye started new way of strategy to get support from us to regain power. But If he is going to be successful, he will still use his power for his own and his brothers not for Ethiopian people.

It is morally wrong to insist in punishing some one who confesses his sin and asks for mercy, especially in the context of Ethiopian politics. This time, Siye is up to forgiveness and reconciliation in Ethiopia. What do we need to accomplish through national peace and reconciliation, if we are not prepared to forgive Meles Zenawi? Forgiveness is not about forgetting some body’s sin, but about willingness of the affected to disregard once wrong doings and consider him/her as clean. This is of vital importance to renew relations. So, regarding Siye the question is whether we can forgive him or not. If there is no sin there would not be a need for forgiveness. Listing his wrong doings now and then and increasing the list can not serve any purpose; and it is not an issue for argument.
Siye is known by his inhuman character, central actor for the crime against ethnicism, twice worse than Meles Zenawi. He is the one who was arresting innocents maiming, torturing inhumanly, ‘saying Amaram yaleksal endie!'(Does an amhara cry?),at 3rd unit police station in Addis soon after woyane came to power in 1991.
Now I don’t understand why he sheltered and started to lament under this narrow minded Pro. Tecola Hagos and Co the enemy of human rights in Ethiopia and the one who blindly dreams for the secession of Tigray region in order to establish a big Tigray empire with the ownership of Asseb Port.

His conference in Washington is meaningless. From the start, I was asking what is he up to? What is the significance of this conference that he called? In the end, I found out that the guy doesn’t really know/admit he did terrible things while in office. He said, “if you say you have to apologize, ok, I will apologize…” What the hell is he talking about? If he apologizes, according to his statement, it would be because we asked him to apologize. Well, nobody will deny that Siye should take responsibility to what happen during his membership of TPLF gung. He said “I take full responsibility from birth of TPLF until the day I left TPLF” what does this mean? Isn’t this equal to saying sorry?
I am not fun of TPLF, but let’s give him a chance and see where he will end and what he can contribute to reverse the damage that he caused. Eye for an Eye isn’t the smart way to look at things. Who is going to decide how far back we can going to take revenge? Siye, Mengistu, Eyasu Alemayehu, Negede gobeze, etc there is no end to it. Let’s follow Mandela’s example. Do you know what the whites were doing to the black South Africans? In law, you will still be found guilty for the crime you committed even if you have asked for forgiveness. Your repentance will not absolve you from being found “guilty”, but it may “mitigate” your punishment. Seye is guilty as charged, but his repentance may mitigate his punishment.
Terrorist Siye Abraha should be sent to the World Court in the Hague or even better to Guantanamo Bay for some questioning.

It is generous and human to forgive ! however who are we to forgive for crimes which was not against us but other innocent victims. Seye’s viscious actions against Ethiopians fall into different categories. I do not profess to know all of them. But what comes to mind obviously is when because of ethnic bias he dismissed( and in some cases imprisoned) many educated Ethiopians from their jobs i.ec. 50 university professors,51 ELPA professionals, 34 top managers from Ethiopian Airlines ( a well run profitable organization even by Western standards) 16 Doctors from Tsehay Hospital ( Military) 16 Judges, Commercial Bank employees. I believe he was responsible for the accusations against Professor Asrat and his numerous court appearances. Seyee was arrogant and hateful of the Ethiopia that existed before he entered Addis Abeba!
His time in prison may have given him time to regret his actions its a pity he did not manage to put his thoughts on paper so we would have some idea of his conversion ! but except for generalized expressions of ” I have made mistakes we have not heard any specific expressions of regret even for ‘some’ of his extreme actions when he was in power. his supporters cannot expect a Carte Blanche forgiveness and acceptance when he has not even admitted what his mistakes were . Professor Tekola I admire as a dedicated and proud Ethiopian who is trying to encourage Ethiopian Unity but there cannot be forgiveness before it can be clear the perpetuator actual understands his errors ! Seyee appears to be a good orator and all we have heard is some flimsy appologies. As I said above its not up to a few people to forgive his actions ! he has to earn them.
Why is it that all ex-tegadays are concerned more about the well being of Tigray rather than Ethiopia? I have yet to see a Tigrian who is more concerned for Ethiopia. Siye is not a criminal. He is a hero who led the most successful guriella warfare in the world. He is a military genius who defeated the biggest army in subsahran Africa. Siye also humilated the Eritrean tyrant Isaias, who bragged that relinquishing Badme is as unrealistic as the idea that the sun never sets, by winning the battle of Badme. Winning a battle and punishing an agressor is not a crime. Nor is the sacrifice made by fellow soldiers during a war a murder.

Shabia commited crimes against humanity by killing thousands of Ethiopian Soldiers including army officers who had peacefully surrendered when Mengistu fled Ethiopia. Shabia is known for its delusionally inflated ego and abhoring anything Ethiopian. Tens of thousands of Ethiopians who used to live in Eritrea were subject to harrasment and inhumane treatment. The Ethiopians were deported to Ethiopia in 1991 after being looted of their assets. One day King Bokasa (Isaias) and his henchmen will face the international court. Siye and EPRDF failed to defend the Ethiopians at that time. Shame on them.
Siye’s (for that matter EPRDF’s) mistake is not opposing (or atleast abstaining from supporting)the Eritrean secession from the very beginning.

I been with woyane fighters for almost 15 years until the overthrow of the derg regim,and I been worked with some of the top leaders of woyane as a radio operator, I realy know SIYE how criminal and stupid person he is. People can say alot of things about siye,meles,sibhat nega—-. This is a layman saying. You can not compare Siye with Meles,Sibhat nega who are the Ethiopia killers. We know some of them are Shaebiya that is why they are always dividing our territory to other countries. Leave this let us come to unity of our people, I was in Tigray for some weeks and all the people do not like Meles,Sibhat, because they are self centered leaders,they focus only on one Wereda. I know those who support for meles are from this particular place otherwise I have seen the feeling of the people of Tembien,Raya,Shire and Agame all these are against Meles and his associates.
