comrade hailu shawul, first you have learn the p[arty’s procedure , where starts and ends your power and be honest, trustfull ,and stop your selfishness and powermongerism. your half body lays in the grave . is that not shame for you when you are insulting the young generation? where are your sons? are they doing their share in the struggle or doing their business by dealing with weyanes at home. shame on you
This is the perfect and democratic approach in line with the party’s principles and by laws.
We hope the central committe will meet as soon as possible and gives final and bindng decision.
We need to put our own public reaction and pressure against Ato Hailu’s major violation of the party’s rules. To do so we need to make a pulic meeting and also call for the EPRDF led government to allow our elected leaders to to exercise their constitutional rights of meeting and solve the problem in the party. I know the gov’t is not ready, but still we have to struggle and do our responsibilites. This then will be broadcast by different medias including VOA and DW radios. For this we urge the local Kiniit Chpters to call for public meeting .
I don’t know the circumstances on the ground in Ethiopia, but this PR is not strong enough. Of course it looks procedural and they need to convene all laelay members to make the final decision, if any. Do it FAST. The vultures you can tell are using this opportunity to snatch “deadbody” lying around anytime. Of course your safety is very important. We are not going to tell you how to do it but we are here to support in what ever.
Please do not keep on getting caught off guard.
Hailu blurb wobn’t make a dent. The Diaspora has to react fiercely with loud and clear voice. Diasopora is united more than ever I can tell. We have to stop the madness out of Minnesota.

First I would like to thank Elias and others for facilitating the communication between the Kinijit leaders at home and the Diaspora. Truth be told, I was livid with anger when I first read the ‘Kinijit Statement’ this morning, thinking it is timid and does not go far enough. After listening to the press conference however, I realized that this is not ‘Gunfight at the OK Corral’ and tit for tat would have been very hurtful to Kinijit and its leaders by putting them on pedestal with the likes of Hailu Shaul. After listening to the measured and mature responses of Dr. Hailu and Ato Seleshi, to all the questions raised by the media and the public, I think the executive committee has made a very wise decision. By putting their personal feelings and emotions aside, they have decided to follow the rules and let the issue run the full gamut of the Kinijit Bylaws. I believe this speaks very highly of the Kinijit leaders’ wisdom and maturity.
Let this be a lesson to all dictators and would be dictators like Hailu Shaul that, respecting the law and living by the rules is not a matter of convenience, and laws and rules apply equally, to both the governing and governed.
Hailu Shawel first learn Kinijit’s manifesto. You are an embarrassment to your family. Let me tell you , you would not make a single dent in the struggle. It may slow it down for a bit but you did us and Kinijit a big favor by firing your own self. Adios dictator Hailu.
OUR TIME, OUR RESPONSIBILITY
The five high delegations to the USA, during their stay in the state, stressed several time and we all know that their strength and power directly derive from the people. They are not groups of people who fight from the bush with Kalashnikovs in hand. WE ARE THEIR KILASHINKOVS, lets rise again from all the continents and show our SOLIDARITY with the true leader and CONDEMNE the phony, traitor and traitors who is out to steal or halt our poor people’s successful mach toward a genuine Democracy.
This is our time lets use it
This is a normal process we must accept and go through it
Kinijit train is going great length
The phonies are left behind in every stops
The cleansing and purification is vital for Kinijit
We say no, no, and no to dictators
Never again in Ethiopia
Ato Hailu accept you sort and enjoy the result of your dealings
We have seen so many you are not the first one
Our peoples are learning the hard way
But surly they are on the right truck
And approaching the final destination.
God bless Ethiopia
The tone of the paper released by the executive committee reveals that they are on the right truck, following the party procedure. They were not emotional and harsh. they had chosen the right words to convey their message and paved their way for a decisive action. This is what is expected from them.
the time is very hard for all of us mostly for them but let us handle it with utmost care and coordination.
Kinijit is the winner !!!
thank you.

I listened to the teleconference yesterday. Ato Sileshi and Dr Hailu Araya are very uptodate with kinijit rules and procedures. Hailu Shawel, however, sounded so ignorant in his interview with VOA. As a matter of fact he exposed his totalitarian attitudes when fired excutive leaders and couldn’t provide the grounds and the source of his authority. That was a moment that said, “yes I am a dictator.” Hailu’s action did not disturb me as much as woyane’s actions to deny them the right to gather and do peaceful politics. If there was a cause to organise and challenge an issue for us diasporans, I believe this is it. I think we should organize huge demos all over; especially around woyane embassies to let them know that we won’t accept this kind of silencing of our people’s voice. We should close down woyane embassies until they will assure us such actions are stopped. I was outraged. This needs to be taken as a priority IMO.

True we Ethiopians have nothing to celebrate at this junction of our history. But we have to work hard to advocate justice, liberty, equality and fraternity. We need to build on our strengths rather than our differences. We must have hope and work on a common ground. We need to learn to agree to disagree in the spirit of democracy. The process of democracy or democratization takes time and maturity. This is exactly what’s happening inside the CUD party. This is part of the party’s maturity, strength and a continuation process.
CUD is well and alive in the spirit of free freedom and democracy. However, it needs to protect it self from distractive elements. For instance when party officials or members violate, the party policy and procedures disciplinary actions need to be taken. That is exactly what Eng.Hailu Shawel did.
God Bless Ethiopia.
I think kinjit will be stronger after all this testing.
