  1. He is trying to cover the reality. 1st he said as being assigned by Ato Hailu, then when asked to reaffirm he claimed as being begged and elected! What a dummy is he? He repeatedly mentions about Ato Hailu’s responsibility and aurthority for every activity. He is proving the dectator behaviour of Ato Hailu and himself. Both have similar character. It will not be far that Ato Hailu will be accountable for all these mess ups. The real kinijit will win!

  21. I had bad taste in my mouth listening to his interview with VOA. What a poisonous person! Taye (Phd in Denkurena) is lying to his students all day long. I wish they know how much he is hated right now. The guy is what we call ” Meseri” in amharic. Denkoro Taye, wake up! what we have here is Kinijit, the most love people’s party in the history of Ethiopia, not some gay love. You are the worst!

  22. how can one call a doctor, DONKORO? Taye of Nazret may be a very stupid person, according to his close friends but certainly he is not a donkoro. Many have heard him boasting on his DR title, but he is not a donkoro. I mean it, he is not. He can ask you a stupid question like, Look, Teshe, do I look like a doctor? I some time wonder if he is of course because he has not writen a book or an article by himself!!! has he?

  30. I met him on a tour organized for Dr. Taye. We know what he said and we regretted inviting him. This was close to two years ago now. He doesn’t have a single supporter now in our region and after what he said, i.e so many bad things about KINIJIT and individuals in KINIJIT. He even accused someone as a CIA agents in KINIJIT. He said that imprisonment of the leaders as “begeza ijachew” comment. The day he said this we were just about to throw up, then again we invited him and we did not know what to do. So we considered it as a an opinion of disgruntled jobless politican and we moved on. Please stop talking about him or any other like him. There is a lot of work ahead of us and we need to stop giving him higher ground by talking about him/them. Now let us talk about on what we can do to bring democracy to Ethiopia and how we can help those who are determined to make a difference.

  34. Dr. Taye is a born opportunist. He does not like CUD, but he saw the love CUD has from the Ethiopian people. He saw CUD is the next political power. He also saw the present confusion in the leadership. So, it is time for Ye’Arada liji to act. He smells being the next PM or whatever. Ato Hailu is simply a tool for him. Yegna yepolitica scientist! That is the secret. But such opportunisim has to be expected. What is the clamour!

    Dr. Taye may be has done a very bad mistake interfering with in kinjits turmoil, but it is not a professional journalism for you to call him Denkoro.

    In my opinion, Dr. Taye done a very bad mistake. If I were him, a person with a huge credibility both at home and diaspora, first of all I wouldn’t put my finger in Kinijit’s politics (KIL and KIC) even if there is an invitation by Eng. Hailu or the other leaders. Because at that time, he knows that there was an internal problem and if he was wise (as a Dr.) he should set himself aside and atleast try to solve the problem first as an outsider, then he can put himself as a leader. But he hasn’t done that. He just dived into a the dirty swimming pool and swam in it and made it even more dirty and lost all the respect.

    On the Historical Oct. 28 delegation last public meeting, Artist Tamagne Beyene called for Dr. taye to leave KIC as it is the root cause of the current Kinijit problem (I blame strongly our Engineer for acknowledging KIC after he signed that it is dissolved. If the master says that is what the servant (dr. Taye) accepted). I was expecting to read an anouncement on all medias that Dr. taye pulled himself out from Kinijit (if he was really thinking as an eduacated Dr. he should have done that, after hearing that standing ovation from the 1500+ crowd in the meeting hall. That was considered a call of the Ethiopian people asking him to stand down.

    Now, we listened on VOA again as Dr. Taye defending his stand, giving even different interpretation for our own Amahric language and fighting with Addisu Abebe of VOA and accusing VOA for telling the truth. Why are you doing this Dr. Taye? Only a minority of Kinijit supporters wants you, not the majority. If you are standing for Democracy what you have been talking the last 10 or 15 years, then listen to the majority and the majority can not be wrong. Even the majority is wrong you have to accept it, that is what democracy is.

  36. Setting aside whether he is a Denkoro or Debtera or Doctor, what he said doesnot make sense at all let alone for some one who went to school, illiterate person can sense his stupidity. In my view he finished himself once and for all. What is he upto. Now i understand why he stayed as Teachers association for long time.Because he is so so so so so so so stuborn. I guess Ing hailu is done, we need to finish the “Denkora Chaka Doctor”.

  45. It is hard to believe that all the comments including the main post (on ethioreview) shows such a “low level” and “degrading” comments. I wonder how we can achieve a better and well tolerant democratic country with such an attitude to anyone who doesn’t reflect our political principles. Rather than focusing on insulting and degrading his academic status as “denkoro”, it is better to CRITICIZE his comments and forward a counter argument. It shows how DENKORO we are if we keep on insulting others for any reason.

  50. Selam Ato Elias. I totally disagree the way you treated Dr. Taye. My question is simple and straight forward, why do you call him Denkoro? Do you know what, we laughed for you when you call President Girma a donkey, we kept quit when you edited even news from other sources such as BBC by erasing the term Ethiopian Prime Minister and wrote Woyyane Prime Minister. Look at you, now you are already here with you silly job. It is unethical to insult some one because he don’t agree to what you believe in. Is there someone who call consider Ato Elias’s act from the legal point of view. To the very least you better have a minimum respect for one as just a human being. Everybody doesn’t have to believe in what you are running after to be treated fairly. To tell you frankly, with this behavior of yours, I don’t think people will take you seriously. You are just another media mobster who pretends to fight dictators, and for freedom and democracy.
