After 10 years of obscurity, the Ethiopian People’s Patriotic Front (EPPF) is now emerging as a leading political force to be reckoned with in Ethiopia. To find out how much impact EPPF is making, one needs only watch the Woyanne-controlled ETV. In October, ETV, Bereket Simone’s mouthpiece, declared that EPPF has been destroyed after a recent military operation named “yager chata.” It showed EPPF fighters surrendering en mass. Now, just two months after making such a declaration, ETV is reporting about EPPF military campaign to attack electrical power lines and assassinate regime officials.
It’s not only Woyanne that is currently targeting EPPF. There is a concerted effort by a number of groups with different motives to sabotage and keep the organization weak.
Despite all the obstacles thrown in front of it, EPPF will continue to march forward in all fronts — military, political, and diplomatic, in collaboration with other Ethiopian organizations that are fighting for change in Ethiopia. In the diplomatic field, EPPF is making an effort to establish good working relationships with other countries through its chapters around the world. EPPF-Washington DC is working to make the U.S. Government aware of the organization’s aims and objectives by establishing contacts with Obama Administration officials and members of the U.S. Congress.
While the gallant EPPF fighters are making Woyanne sleepless in the home front, there are two important upcoming EPPF events this month in the Diaspora:
Public meetings in London, January 24 and
Washington DC, January 30.

Some political parties are formed when they see other parties doing good, and they will ask to join them if they let in, yet again they want to be a leader over the exsiting and stronger one.Then the fight will erapt between each other and the enemy will be forgotten.
We have witnesed this in the last election between kinjit. So EPFF should be very carefull not to let in an other party that is claming to be ready to fight, while sitting in America.

Just like ONLF, should have understood that the way to go was armed struggle and have started long time ago.
However, it is never too late. The Woyanne should be shivering now.
Let Woyanne be squeezed from all directions of the country.
Is there a liberated area of Ethiopia by EPPF where we can go and give our service as doctors and teachers please ?
I had a chance to talk to few individuals who claimed to be part of OLF leadership, and realized why OLF is a failure. Ethiopians, regardless of their identity, need some practical organization like EPPF. EPPF is an organization that Ethiopians should be proud of! Peace never came through peaceful means and that is what EPPF understands.

I have been following the armd struggle of the heors EPPf for many years and I like them so much because they did not come from certain tribe but they represent every ETHIOPIAN regardless of tribalism,religeon ets let support them they are real ETHIOPIAN savours.Even though Im ERITREAN soho I would not hesitate to support financialy my brothers.

Please tell the eppf leader when he speaks the oppression of Ethiopian people, not to just focus the lands of Tedros and Menelik, he must be inclusive of the Oromos and everyone. I saw on his website his speech, the older guy, throughout his speech, not one word of the Southern regions were mentioned. If eppf wants to be leader in is not trying just to fight just from the North, need to be INCLUSIVE!! That is why some Ethiopians the Diaspora and inside especially the Amara elites are not getting it. They are perpetuating for the very reason that created the Liberation Fronts and are succeeding. I am sure it is not in their best interest but they are still narrow minded about this.

In addition to the brutality of Woyanes, people in the north have been victimized by woyanes time and time again. Besides, the land Woyanes have taken fertile land from Gonder and Wollo to widen Tirgea province, Woyanes have taken acres and acres of fertile land from Gonder to give it to Sudan.
I think, the EPPF leader is talking about the land woyanes had given to Sudan.
