Result of Woyanne’s 10 percent economic growth – video

After receiving over $1 billion from donors and claiming an annual growth rate of over 10 percent, Ethiopians are growing more poor by the day. The most vulnerable victims of Ethiopia’s tribal junta are the children, as you see in the video below.

  3. Damn Meles and his gang, they made Ethiopia a battle zone — from Ogaden, Oromia, Amara, Sidamo, Gambela, Afar, every where. Is this growth and justice? Let us wake up and unite Ethiopians.

  5. OMG! I had tears running down my face while watching this sad story of young street children on the streets of addis.
we need to wake up people! the dr. there was talking about how these kids can be accepted by the community? who’s gona accept them when their own govt has failed them? how about providing these kids with the food, education and shelter so they can one day be assets to their country. society is ofcourse fed up of its own problems and they’re not equipped to help these begging kids who seem to be everywhere. Crime minister Meles is failing the country, the young and poor generation is in utter despair. This is a damning evidence of the contradictions of the ever arrogant and lying woyane who is claiming to have achieved an 11 percent economic growth! we can’t continue to be fooled and we certainly can’t be silent anymore in how our country is being misruled. How long must the suffering continue,Emama Ethiopia?

  6. Ethiopia blocks food supply as millions go hungry
    By Konye Obaji Ori, Afrik.com | June 17, 2009

Editor’s Note – The World Food Program (WFP) on Tuesday declined to answer an Ethiomedia question how much the UN agency was paying for truck-owning companies (like TPLF) to ferry food from the congested Port of Djibouti. WFP also declined to answer how many thousands of trucks was TPLF deploying as a private transportation company. It is no brainer to know the “hunger program” is a lucrative undertaking for Zenawi’s huge business empire, and hence the reason to hold down Ethiopia as an all-year-round famine-stricken nation.

The Ethiopian authorities claim to be ensuring better harvest by September, but the United Nations has warned that by the end of June, it would have run out of food supply for the dependent millions in Ethiopian.

There will be no further deliveries until September or October, claims the UN World Food Program (WFP). Children, refugees and breast-feeding mothers will be among those worst hit during the hunger season in Ethiopia.

The hunger season is expected to last until September when harvest begins.

The Ethiopian government has prioritized the delivery of fertilizer, to try to increase the next harvest rather than allow more trucks of food and grains to the country.

According to WFP, there is an acute shortage of trucks, yet the Ethiopian authorities have prevented them (the agency) from bringing in its own fleet from Sudan.

UN World Food Program says it has no option but to cut back on the food they provide, which has already been cut by a third since July 2008.

Currently there is little prospect of food supplies arriving at the port of Djibouti for the next five months. “We have a small refugee population here and their ration is being cut by half beginning this month. We run out of food and people will be very hungry,” claims Barry Came of the World Food Program.

The UN can only supply food through the port of Djibouti because Eritrea denied land-locked Ethiopia access to its ports, following a border war.

  7. including other big cities mre than 100.000 homeless in ethiopia.multi millioner woyane robers through out these peoples and they thief the right of health and food.

  8. I think this should remind all Ethiopians that it is each individuals responsibility to do what we can like the amazing Dr. Minas. There are also many local organizations that help Aid victim orphans or other orphans. These can be helped. One amazing Ethiopian woman recently died check the website “thereisnomewithoutyou” All this is not going suddenly going away if Weyane goes so wake up and do something useful.Sympathy means doing something!

  9. Meles and his people are well fed and they to bed with full tumy.In Ogaden, they take the food and they burn what`s left in the villages` storage.Mass starvation and food blockage is their weapon of choice in Ogaden and what you see in this sad footage is 100 times better than what`s happening in Ogaden. What`s new here?Look at Woyannes and their families? They are rich and fat with buffy and shining cheecks.Yes,the economy of Adwa and Makele is growing 11% anually. That is the country of the Woyannes.
