The Washington DC chapter of Ethiopian People’s Patriotic Front (EPPF) is organizing a town hall meeting with the organization’s senior officials and distinguished guests in Washington DC, Sunday, August 9.

    It will be my pleasure to participate and show my greatest support to EPPF for their struggle to liberate Ethiopia from the tribal junta Woyane. The struggle against woyane should not be left alone to be the responsibility of EPPF, OLF, ONLF TPDM , it should be the responsibility of all of us. We must support to those brave fighters morally and financially so that we will see the ultimate downfall of meles regime sooner than expected. I hope we can see soon prosperous Ethiopia living in harmony and peace with its people and neighbors.

  25. During the Eritrean strugele we use to collect money in every way possible in support of our fighters. Is there any mechanism where I as an Eritrean citizen can support the patriot who are willing to give the only life they got for the ordinary citizen. Ethiopian right and left must support EPPF if they are to attain the liberty from the mercinary junta that is leading Ethiopia today. Take advantage of these opportunity Eritrean everywhere are willing to lend a hand and that is a promise.

  26. The EPPF, OLF, ONLF and TPDM are struggling to liberate Ethiopia from the tribal junta Woyane.
    On this coming conference do the have an agenda which states in creation united front? Is there any sign of recognition of these forces by EPPF? or of each other?

  27. The EPPF shoud direct its effort with full energy towards the legitimate organiztion of the OLF, ONLF and TPDM. EPPF cannot simply pass them and florish by itself. They are born before EPPF and operated againt the centeral government for longer time and to be continued. I am sure that if EPPF can break the hate wall between ethiopian and eritrean and be able to approach eritrean government/people eritrean overseas then they approach OLF, ONLF and TPDM; they are ethiopian in ethiopia.

  28. 1. Get ready to speak and to work. Your brothers and sisters ( EPPF fighters) are working hard to liberate the Ethiopian people.
    2. Ask the Eritrean government to use the Sahel (North Nacfa) for military and political training purposes. You have really a safe place there to train your ground forces, and there is a small air port to train air forces fighters. Call to all Ethiopian military experts who are willing to work to the interest of the people of Ethiopia and the horn.
    3. Use the Red Sea now, now, now to liberate the Ethiopian people (there is a small port on Sahel, what we call it Marsa gulbub) to get in food, medicine, military ammunitions … from outside world to feed your brave EPPF army.
    4. Collect money from all Ethiopians, Eritreans…. from all around the world and use the money to buy food and other supplies, and ask the Ethiopian intellectuals (Medical doctors, politicians, Engineers.…) to join the brave army, and remember you will need doctors and safe places for hospitals and other services.
    5. You do not have to agree with Eritreans in all political views, and you do not have to like Isaias too, believe me if you work hard to liberate and protect the interest of the Ethiopian people, that will be number one goal to many Eritreans who are eager to see the happy life of Ethiopians. We know that, the real strong Ethiopian government in the future who will serve its people (not outsiders) will never be against Eritreans.

  29. Is there an account where people can contribute? Those of us who may not inclined to go to the field anf fight Weyane, can contribute monetarily. That is what oue Eritrean brothers did during their long struggle when the worls totally ignored them. It is OK to be cheer leaders, but let’s put some beef to it.

    This is the only front we all Ethiopians together have in common in the name oaf Ethiopia. This is the home/house (Ethiopia) protector front standing for peaceful, united, benefit for all and equal Ethiopians.

    This is the high time having and with every means possible supporting EPPF. We have to make EPPF a very quality, strong, wise, determine, reliable and the way to destination our force by being active supporters with everything we can.
    People, we are talking here about Ethiopia and innocent people that are suffering under few satanic Tribalist woyanes. EPPF is the best if not the only way to deal with them as we have seen their conduct for 18 years. We have to face them with eye against eye confrontation, and we will see who is going to win. Of course, the Ethiopian people.

    Do you think these few Satanic woyanes lots of evil crimes on their head, shoulders and hands will resist if a strong and determine force EPPF confront them the way the don’t like/want to happen them that way. They reached to Addis with no mercy of killing innocent Ethiopians. With no rumours at all destroying everything the country has including bridges, roads and anything. They didn’t reach to Addis just by talk, by being weak, reluctant, selfish, hodam and so on. According to their Ethnic policy and kilil, they are representing only 4% of the Ethiopian population (based on the real Ethiopian censor not the fake/political motivated Tribalist censor).

    Three quality individuals can bring many good changes than 1000’s bad/Hodams that are their for their private benefit. Clean your body, cloth, home and ways before confronting others. Be very suspicious and always alert about the Hodams that are playing tactic games to affect your goal.

    Have only Quality/reliable individuals around. Create a very secretive circle/chamber no one can penetrate it to weaken your struggle. Clean the hodams/the obstacles inside as well as outside from being around you. Learn from the past. We need first quality and then quantity. Determination, love for the people/country, be vigilant always, identify the obstacles that are most of the time inside you acting as if they are part of the solution. Then everything will be okey. Don’t hesitate/take time confronting/exposing the hodams that are around you. The hodams are the number one enemies and servants to woyane in the country as well as abroad acting as if they are not.

    I hate the Hodams. It is right you hate them deeply, too.

  36. It looks like we do have enough forces agaainist central governtment. (EPPF, OLF ONLF and TPDM.)
    Do they recognize each other? If not why not?
    Is there any mechanizms to bring them together? To form united front.
    I would like to take this opportunity to call upon all social intelectuals to make their contribution in articulation and proposals to bring these forces to work together for the common goals.

Why dont you call the Senators, the HR2003 partners, State Dept or White house and protest?

  38. Hello Elias, I am so happy that you went to Asmara and interview Isayas. It cleard many questions about the president and the country in general. My approach is let us use every available means to advance our cause and bring democracy in our country. I just watched the interview you and your friend gave to Eri-Tv. Since you meeet some of the member of the EPPF, I want to hear from you how is the EPPF actively doing in ethiopia and outside ethiopia.

  39. It will benefit us all if the different organisations in Ethiopia find a mechanism to forge an alliance and common front against TPLF regime. Their approachs may differ but the ultimate goal of getting rid of Meles and his ruling group and freeing of Ethiopians from their grip shouldn’t be different.

    It is, therefore, the responsibility of various organizations to come up with a working relationship to speed up the process of terminating the TPLF rule.

    1. They have to call upon all forces for creation united front.
    2. They have to be clear in power sharing to governing( ADMINISTERing ) the country and resource distribution for all Ethiopians not for few only.
    3. They have to distribute their manifesto through their organs so that they will be understood by not only Ethiopians but also by all oppressed people around the world.
    4. It is to the advantage of EPPF to call for united front through class struggle instead unity through ethiopiawinet which is being fracturing( Eritrea, Oromo, Afar and TDPL and more).

    5.The struggle will go forward, much like the New Deal, will be the outcome of a contested and fluid process involving broad class and social constituencies, taking multiple forms, and working out over time.

    6. It will pivot on the expansion of social and economic rights, the reconfiguring of the functions of government to the advantage of oppressed people of Ethiopia, and the embedding of a new economic architecture and developmental path into the nation’s political economy.

    7. No less importantly, it will also entail the recasting of the role of Ethiopia in the horn of Africa along egalitarian and non-imperial lines.

    8. EPPF shouldn’t be shy to call for class struggle to form united front instead ethiopiawint which is very selective and illusionary; it embraces only habashas

    By the way do we know what Ethiopia means for most oppressed Ethiopians?
    It means Habasha-which means Tigray, Amharas and Eritrean which means the ruling class for the last 500 years which means colonizer and oppressor.
    This is not to be a victim of history; but just to remind us not repeat the wrong acts in the name of ethiopiawi and andenet wey mot(Amharic).

    9. Create coalition among different social organization, groups and freedom fighter.

    10. Recognize the existing national forces and start serious discussion of strategy and tactics – has reached that point.
    Finally EPPF objective and agenda must be pure and clear for everybody.

    One more point; the way I see it to bring to all existing forces in making united front is class strugle.
    It is fair to everybody.
    It has analytical approach.
    It has long term strategy and short term tactics.
    It makes consistant commitment to the needs of oppressed masses; it will be very enclusive.

  42. Ethiopians must not exclude TPDM for varieties of reasons. TPDM have well trained strong fighters. They are fighting for the same cause as the rest of Ethiopians are fighting for. They may not have strong supporters in Diaspora from Tigrains origins as most of Tigrains’ daispora are the one who are benefiting from this junta. However TPDM are rapidly gaining supporters inside the country as the Tigrains inside Ethiopia are understanding the MLLT’s raciest policy and mischievous behavior. Thus it is very important the EPPF to aknowlage the TPDM’s capacity.
    I also believe that, Ethiopians must admit that great damaged have been done to Tigray province by the previous rulers and the Tigray people played an important role and made a huge sacrificed to liberate Ethiopian. But ordinary Tigrain citizens and the freedom fighters had not had an idea that they were creating another Mengstu. To be honest MLLT are worst than derg. Although the power in Ethiopian is held with the Tigrain origins, it doesn’t mean that all Tigrain are benefited from it. There are very few Tigrains entertain the MLLT’s tyrannizing ways; some knowingly some without.
    If there are Ethiopians who believe all Tigrains are benefiting from this junta, I would say it is foolish. Because to categorize all Tigrains with MLLT is categorizing all People of Amhara as benefactor of previous rulers since they were Amharas. Or to categorize all Ethiopians are enemy of Eritreans. The more you try to exclude the Tigray people the harder it will be to liberate Ethiopian from this junta. If you exercise in this kind of entity, you are going back to score one.
