Ethiopia’s dictator Meles Zenawi is ill

Ethiopian Review has learned from reliable sources that the leader of Ethiopia’s ruling tribal junta, Meles Zenawi, is ill and has not been appearing in any official activity for over a week.

According to the sources, Meles was recently in Dubai for medical treatment, but his current whereabouts are not known.

Meanwhile, members of the Tigrean People’s Liberation Front (Woyanne) are at each others throat over the decision to return the properties of tens of thousands of Eritreans who were illegally deported about 10 years ago. All of the confiscated properties, including houses, businesses, and cars, were distributed among Woyannes after they hunted down Eritreans from every city of Ethiopia, loaded them on trucks and buses, and expelled them.

Last month, the Meles regime, that had ordered the ethnic cleansing of Eritreans, decided to return their properties, causing anger among officials and rank-and-file members of Woyanne who took over most of the houses and businesses belonging to the victims.

Another issue that is currently causing friction inside the Woyanne camp is the question of who will replace Meles Zenawi after June 2010. No one has emerged as a most likely candidate yet, but names that are frequently mentioned include Arkebe Okubai, Tedros Adhanom, and Tsegay Berhe.

Meles is conspicuously silence on this matter, and is not backing any one, according to Ethiopian Review sources. If a consensus candidate doesn’t emerge, it will pave the way for him to be in charge for five more years. The justification will be to keep the party united.

God Speed! ofcourse this self-serving, divisive clique is going to have a problem in its own circle sooner or later because of the ill-advised, ill-fated dangerous decisions they have made in the past and for purposes of producing hate and condemnation towards Eritrea and Ethiopians of Eritrea origin, which inturn got them huge support from the-then gullible ethiopians. now what? woyane seems to be caught between a rock and a hard place!   6. It is not surprising that Woyanne thieves are fighting over the hard earned money and property of Eritreans in Ethiopia. This criminal organization in the end will fight over their loot and weaken themselves. THERE IS NO HONOR AMONG THIEVES.

    Isn’t it hearsay when a story such as this, in which otherwise would be a major breaking news, is NOT verified and comes from non-first hand parties, however be it in Ethiopia…simply hearsay?

    Listen, I’m not saying this is not happening or anything and trust me when I say that Ethios and perhaps Eritreans would rejoice in some major partying here…well, I guess what I’m trying to say is…um…well, this sounds just like hearsay to me.

    Which party are we talking here? It is TPLF (Tigry People Liberation front) Or EPRDF, which is a TPLF Export Brand name to the rest of Ethiopia and mainly the world to make business with unfair and illegal nation and people trading?

    If you are thinking EPRDF is a party or a coalition, you are making a big mistake. First we know that it is not a part but a coalition. But we also know that it is not a coalition. If it was/is a coalition how come the smallest coalition member TPLF is taking all important positions, decisions and everything the nation has under its ownership for the last 18 years EPRDF existence. AS we said before EPRDF is the TPLF brand name out of Tigry to cheat the Ethiopian people and the world.

    I’m sure; we will see much chaos inside TPLF and also EPRDF in the coming 12 months. One of it could be the end of EPRDF. 90% EPRDF will say enough is enough to 10% TPLF. EPRDF disappearance will lead to the TPLF disappearance because of TPLF exists because of EPRDF.

    To make it clear:

    100% of the illegally and inhumanly deported Eritrean property was taken by TPLF members and their supporters. But we have to keep in mind that these bandits have sold some of the properties to the innocent Ethiopians that have no idea what was going on behind those properties. There fore some properties are right now in the hands of innocent Ethiopians after they bought it from TPLF with out knowing it was once belonged to Eritreans.

Let us hope that Meles will not comeback to his office, then it can be the end of 18 years TPLF brutal/fascist tyranny.

He sent his inner circle thugs to USA, ASIA and Europe to diffuse and to counter offense the diaspora activists. Woyane has allocated tens of millions dollars for bribery and lobby. As you know Meles has built up his own security force accompanied by his Agazi death squads. There has been no as such Ethiopian army since 1991. Sebhat and Abay are now pretending to be leaders of the Woyane clique. Do not cheat us any more please.
