Gonder under military siege

Ethiopia’s ruling junta (Woyanne) has turned the city of Gonder is into a militarized zone by deploying tens of thousands of additional troops. Woyanne suspects that fighters of armed resistance groups have entered the city to carry out attacks on regime forces during this month’s general elections that will be held on May 23.

According to eyewitnesses, movements in and out of the city has been restricted and soldiers are conducting house to house searches. Check points have also been set up through out the city.

Meanwhile, in southern Ethiopia, Woyanne claims that a police officer was stabbed to death by members of the Forum for Democracy and Dialogue (Medrek) party in the Oromya region on Saturday.

“Supporters of Medrek stabbed to death policeman Hassan Regasa last night in the Oromya region,” according to a police statement.

On Thursday, in the town of Adaba, Orimya region, attackers threw a bomb at a meeting of a party from the ruling coalition, killing two people, according to the state media.

  1. woyin is using the same tactic like its father the derg. Remember the ASESA derg used to get crappy when it hears that there some kind of peoples movemnt. Woyane better learn from history. You will make your own cake and eat it

  2. First they came for Tigrean intellectuals, the since I was not Tigrean I did not speak up.

Second, they came for well respected true Ethiopian army, the I was not Ethiopian army person, I did not speak up.

3rd they came for OLF, since I am not Oromo, I enjoyed and celebrated with them.

4th, they came for Eritrean Ethiopian communities, still I enjoyed and contributed to the deal.

5th, they followed the Eritreans attacked them in Eritrea, I rejoiced and clapped, increasing my contributions.

6th, they attacked Oromo civilians, throwing bodies in every rivers we drink, yet I thought it is not my problem.

7th they attacked Sidamas in looke Awassa, still I kept quite.

8th they attacked and massacred the Agnuaks, still since I am not from Gambella I kept quite.

9th they attacked the Ogadenians, still I didn’t do nor speak about it.

10th they came to kill Medrak during 2005 Election, killing 200 humans, still I kept cool and went on with my own.

11th they came after Orthodox churches, since I don’t belong to that faith group I did not say a thing.

12th now, they are finishing off all of us, Gondare, Oromo, Tigre, sidamas, Ogaden, as mopping up last mission. I am in midist of the mopp ups, who can speak for me and the likes of us?

Ethiopians, its time to cross over and fist fight for our neighbor countrymen and women, remove, the killil craps lend hands to Gondar, to Oroms, to Ogadenians, to sidamas, we will speak about killils, once we survive as free.

  3. The kiling of the police by Medrek suporters is fake. Look the video by Diretube. The same individual wearing a stripped T-shirt is first seen without a spill of blood. Then his shirt was blood on his right chest. The name of the Police “Hassan Regassa” is the same fake name as that of Abadulla Gemeda, the former Wabi Shebele night club bouncer. All is orchestrated to discredite the opposition.

  4. Meles Z and Addisu L both barbaric creatures must be guillotined before they totally spoil our country.
Then we have solved 50% of our problems.

Agames and its associates go back to DeDeBit.

  5. Gondar, the capital city of Begemeder, Semen, and Setit Humera, remains besieged under Meles mercenary armies – the Tegarues.

In reality though all the Ethiopian people except the Tegarues have been living under gun point, day in and day out, and they have never enjoyed life for two decays; therefore, this is the right time for all the oppressed people of Ethiopia to rise up and overthrow the satanic kingdom of Meles Seitanawi.

My fellow Ethiopians, turn your gun against your common enemy, destroy the enemy wherever he is, and liberate yourself and your children and enjoy the wealth of your country.

Recently one Ethiopian elderly lady bitterly complained: “After we have worked so hard in our fields, we only get the straw, but they (the Tegarues) get the wheat.” You have been working tirelessly for twenty years, but you are getting nowhere because Meles Seitanawi cannot govern a well-fed people, a highly educated nation, and a healthy country; he wants your children to be sick, hungry, uneducated, and uninformed about the benefits of democracy so that he could easily govern them, bend them, exploit them, and enslave them for another five years or more.

It was one shot fired at the British troops at Lexington by one brave American man that brought the American Revolution, and, in return, that Revolution gave birth to the American democracy. In this case, the first shot has been fired in Gondar city by the Ethiopian Freedom Fighters at the Woyanne invading army, and let the Ethiopian Revolution start, and let all the Ethiopians join the Revolution now without delay.
