Chris Flaherty is the producer of the movie called Migration of Beauty, which shows the struggle of Ethiopians for democracy in Ethiopia in the context of an American experience Chris Flaherity undoubtedly loves our historical and great country Ethiopia and our people, above all he is steadfast to Dr. Martin Lutherkings’ principle which says that Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
It’s based on such conviction that Chris a month ago has declared his plan to hunger strike in front of white house in demanding the Obama adminstration to make pressure on Meles regime to release UDJP Chairwoman Birtukan Mideksa as well as to support the struggle for a democratic change that she is paying a huge sacrifice for.
As he is a man of his word, now he has already started his hunger strike and in doing so he has beyond a shadow of doubt proved to be a friend of Ethiopians and a strong defender of justice and Democracy.
As the saying goes to a friend in need is a friend indeed, and his engagement in being the Voice of the Voiceless Ethiopians is a priceless gift to every justice and democracy thirsty Ethiopians.
UDJP Sweden Chapter would therefore like not only to express its deep appreciation to his conviction to his principles, but also endorse his action and gives him full support to make his effort successful.
UDJP Sweden Chapter therefore calls upon all Ethiopians in Washington and beyond to support this important act of courage by visiting and staying with Chris at Lafayette Park in front of the White House.

Thank you sir, for taking such noble cause to the front door of enables. What is important is let the world community hear loud and clear that Ms Medhaksa is prisoner of consceous, and so is the rest common Ethiopian people in the country. The policy that is enabling minority ethenic Tigres getting rid off the majority ethenic non Tigre Ethiopians via systematic ways are cooked, enabled in Washington. Even US media that is loud for death a pegoneon in else where, is intentional muted, by well funded lobysists and colaborators.
The real issue, is holocoust and genocide is being carried out in Ethiopians are dying silently almost throughout for fears that has taken life out of the livings.
The Regime of Meles Zenawi is unique in almost every grains of its makings. It has street smarts, thuggis businesses, it is Number one killer, funneral arranger, its even hard to pin points its acts crimes that infiltrated every house-holds.
Barack Obama, if he cares about Africa and his missions to that continent, its has to do more than the usual political lip services. It has to study the country Ethiopia , not from history but from current survivors of genocide in Ethiopia.
Today, in Ethiopia, Mr Zenawi;s evil agents hurle hand granade at school children, killing and disabling them. At same time come to washington to beg for hand outs for killing armaments, United States leaders so far have been conned to assist genocidal assissins of Meles Regime, in which huge numbers of Ethiopian families died at their dewellings since 1991.
Mr Flaherty, I am with you Ms Medaksa deserve to be let free a year ago, I also would bring to your attention, she has got better deals than millions who we can not even trace where their bodies have been dismembered. Genocide in Ethiopia is a real and Bush administration have contributed trainings, weapons to death camp workers, Obama need to end it now.
