The host of the Washington DC-based Hager Fiker Radio has announced that he is shutting down his weekly radio program due to lack of funds.
Ato Negussie Woldemariam said on his program (aka Hod Fiker Radio) last Sunday that he is running out of money and that it would be a miracle if he comes back next week.
It seems that he is no more useful for his backers, Woyanne and Al Amoudi.

ከቦሌ መንገድ ወደ አውሮፕላን ማረፊያ ሲገባ በስተ ግራ በኩል ባለው የተንጣለለ መሬት ላይ ከስድስት ወራት በፊት ኤም ኤ የተባለ የማስታወቂያ ድርጅት ለሚሌኒየሙ የስደስት ወር ፌስቲቫል ለማዘጋጀት አካባቢውን የማስተካከል ስራ ጀመረ፡፡ “እኔ እያለሁ” ያሉት አቶ አብነት ገ/መስቀልና ሼክ መሐመድ አልአሙዲን እሱን አስነስተው ብዙ ብር ሊያመጣ የሚችል አዳራሽና መድረክ ማሰራት ጀመሩ በዋዜማውም ታዋቂ የውጭ አቀንቃኞች ይመጣሉ ተብሎ መወራት ጀመረ አንዷም ቢዮንሴ ነበረች፡፡
ሰሞኑን ለጉዳዩ ቅርበት ያላቸው እንደገለጹትም በዋዜማው ለሚደረገው ለዚህ ዝግጀትም ቢዮንሴ እንደማትገኝና በምትኩ “ብላክ አይድ ፒስ” የተባሉ አቀንቃኞች እንደሚገኙና ኢትዮጵያውያን ዘፋኞች እንደሚጋበዙ ተገልጿል፡፡
ለዚህ ዝግጅት መግቢያ የተመደበውም ለአንድ ሰው 1600,00 የኢትዮጵያ ብር ነው፡፡ በሌላ በኩል በአዲስ አበባ ስታዲየም ዝግጅት ለማዘጋጀት ገንዘብ ከፍሎ የነበረ አንድ ድርጅት ስታዲየሙ “ሕብር” የተባለ ዝግጅት ይዘጋጅበታል ተብሎ እንደተከለከለ ለማወቅ ተችሏል፡፡ መስቀል አደባባይ ላይ “ቴስት ኦፍ አዲስ” በግለሰቦች ሊዘጋጅ የነበረው ዝግጅትም መሰረዙ የሚታወስ ነው፡፡
በምርጫ 97 ቢሮው የቅንጅት ሆኖ ነበር፡፡ በምርጫ 97 ቅንጅት ለአንድነትና ለዲሞክራሲ ፓርቲ ለመጨረሻ ጊዜ ፓርላማ እንግባ/ አንግባ የሚለውን ውይይት ያደረገበትና መግለጫ የሰጠበት ቢሮ በዛሬው እለት ከኢዴአፓ – መድኅን ቀምቶ ለኪራይ ቤቶች ተሰጠ፡፡
በምርጫ 97 ቅንጅቱ በተለምዶ ቴሌ መድኃኒያለም እየተባለ በሚጠራው አካባቢ ቢሮ ይኑረው እንጂ ላንቻ ይገኝ በነበረው የኢዴአፓ – መድኅን ቢሮ ስብሰባዎችን ያካሄድበትና አንዳንድ የቢሮ ስራዎችን ይጠቀምበት ነበር፡፡ በቢሮው አጥር ላይም በትልቁ “ቅንጅት ለአንድነትና ለዲሞክራሲ በሚል” በሰማያዊ ጨርቅ ላይ ተፅፎ ተለጥፎበትም ነበር፡፡ ከ20 ወራት ቆይታ በኋላ ከእስር የተፈቱት ዶ/ር ኃይሉ አርአያም ጥቅምት 22 እጃቸው ሲያዝ በዚህ ቢሮ ውስጥ በስራ ላይ እያሉ ነበር፡፡ በመጨረሻ እነ ልደቱ ቢሮውን የራሳቸው አድርገው ይጠቀሙበት የነበረ ሲሆን ኪራይ ቤቶች አስተዳደር ድርጅት “ኪራይ ክፈሉኝ” በሚል ክስ መስርቶ የነበረ በመሆኑ በዛሬው እለት ፍርድ ቤቱ ባዘዘው መሰረት የቢሮው በር ተሰብሮ እቃው ከተቆጠረ በኋላ ውስጥ ያሉ ሰራተኞች እንዲወጡ ተደርጎና ቢሮው ታሽጎ ኪራይ ቤቶች ቤቱን ተረከበ፡፡
ቢሮው በ1984 ዓ.ም በእነ ክፍሌ ጥግነህ ይመራ ለነበረው ኢዲአቅ ለተባለው ፓርቲ ተሰጥቶት የነበረ ሲሆን ፓርቲው ከኢዴአፓ – መድኅን ጋር ሲዋሃድ በጋራ መጠቀም ጀመሩ፡፡ በኋላም በዶ/ር በየነ የሚመራው አማራጭ ሃይሎ እዛ ገብቶ በጋራ ሲጠቀሙበት የነበረ ሲሆን የኢዴአፓ- መድኀን አመራር የነበሩት እነ ዶ/ር አድማሱ፣ ዶ/ር ኃይሉ አርአያና እነ ልደቱን ጨምሮ በንብረትነት ሲገለገሉበት ቆይተው በመጨረሻ ቅንጅቱ ሲጠቀምበት ቆየ፡፡
ሁሉንም እያባረሩ የራሳቸው ማድረግ የጀመሩት ልደቱና ጓደኞቹ ከጥቅምት ወር 1998 ዓ.ም በኋላ የራሳቸው አድርገው ሲጠቀሙበት ቢቆዩም ኪራይ ቤቶች ድርጅት “ቤቱ የኔ በመሆኑ ማንም ኪራይ ሳይከፍል ሊጠቀምበት አይገባም” በሚል በፍርድ ቤት በጀመረው ክስ ይረታል፡፡ ኪራይ ይከፈለኝ አሊያም ቤቴ ይለቀቅልኝ ሲል ይከራከራል፡፡ እነ ልደቱ ጠበቃ ቀጥረው እንደ ፓርቲ ድርጅትነታችን ቢሮ ሊኖረን እንደሚገባ እየታወቀ ኪራይ ክፈሉም ልቀቁም ልንባል አይገባም ብለው ይግባኝ ይጠይቃሉ፡፡ በይግባኙም ይረቱና ሰበር ይሄዳሉ፡፡ ሰበር ፍርድ ቤት በነሱ ላይ ወስኖ ቤቱን እንዲለቁ ያዛል፡፡ ከ20 ቀናት በፊት እቃቸውን አውጥተው ቤቱን ለኪራይ ቤቶች እንዲያስረክቡ ቢታዘዙም አቶ ልደቱ በየመንግሥት መ/ቤቶች ቢሮ በመራሯጥ ቤቱን ስለማስረከብ ጥረት ሲያደርግ እንደነበርና ማንም መቶ ሊቀማን አይችልም በሚል ልበ ሙሉነት አንዱን ክፍል ቢሮ ከፍተው ሲሰሩ እንደነበር ምንጮቻችን ጠቁመውናል፡፡
ከፍርድ ቤት፣ ከፖሊስ እና ከኪራይ ቤቶች ቤቱን ሊረከቡ ሰራተኞች ሲሄዱ ከአንድ ቢሮ በስተቀር ሁሉም ቁልፍ ሲሆንባቸው በቢሮው የነበሩትን የኢዴአፓ ሰራተኞች እንዲያስረክቧቸው ይጠይቃሉ፣ ፍቃደኛ የሚሆን ባለማግኘታቸው በሩን እየሰበሩ እቃውን ቆጥረው ኪራይ ቤቶች እንዲረከብ ከተደረገ በኋላ “ታሽጓል” የሚል ተለጥፎበት ኢዴአፓ ቢሮውን ለቆ እንዲወጣ ተደርጓል፡፡

Ethiopian authorities have expressed dissatisfaction with Norway’s conduct in relation to Ethiopian Woyanne interests in the Horn of Africa. The Ethiopian authorities have therefore requested Norway to reduce the number of its diplomatic staff in Addis Ababa to three people, according to Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK).
The Ethiopian Woyanne position was communicated to the Norwegian Embassy in Addis Ababa on 15 August. Since then, Norway has sought to clarity the situation through consultations with the Ethiopian authorities, but this has proved unsuccessful, the Norwegian Foreign Office said in a press release.
“We are surprised and regret the Ethiopian authorities’ unilateral decision,” said Minister of Foreign Affairs Jonas Gahr Stoere, who informed that Norway has urged Ethiopia to reconsider its decision.
“We must now take the consequences of the fact that the Ethiopian authorities are upholding their decision and we are therefore making preparations to withdraw six diplomats from our embassy in Addis Ababa,” Stoere was quoted as saying.
“This sharp reduction in staffing means that we may not be able to maintain our development cooperation with Ethiopia at the current level. We regret the impact this will have on our partners, ” said the Foreign Minister.
However, Stoere underlines that this does not imply a break in Norway’s diplomatic relations with Ethiopia.
The Norwegian Embassy in Ethiopia is also responsible for Norway’s relations with the African Union, which has its headquarters in Addis Ababa.
