Two Groups Expelled From the TG
On January 3, the Transitional Government of Ethiopia (TGE) expelled the Agew People Democratic Movement and the Ethiopian Democratic Union from the Council.
The two organizations were expelled from the council because of their participation in the Peace & Reconciliation Conference that was held in Addis Abeba last month.
Earlier, five southern groups were expelled from the TG for their participation in the Paris Peace Reconciliation Conference that was held in March, 1993.
