(BBC) – The {www:Ogaden National Liberation Front} (ONLF) said it had seized the town of Mustahil and was also fighting for the towns of Wardheer and Khalavo in eastern {www:Ethiopia}.
It said at least 80 Ethiopian {www:Woyanne} regime soldiers had been killed.
An Ethiopian A Woyanne government spokesman told the BBC the reports were absolutely false and the ONLF was on the run.
On Saturday, the Ogaden rebels said they had killed more than 20 Ethiopian Woyanne troops in recent fighting, a report also denied by the Woyanne authorities in Addis Ababa.

For the sake of Ethiopia’s interest, I would urge other opposition groups to join ONLF in the fight to remove the TPLF cult regime. If these groups coordinate their fight then the misery of the Ethiopians can be brought to an end sooner rather than later.
And please don’t kid yourself by believing that there is some peaceful means to remove Meles and his TPLF criminals.
Omos,I agree with you completely. There`s no other way to deal with the TPLF.ONLF is doing the right thing. But sadly some Ethiopians are blaming and saying fighing the Woyannes is somehow undermining Ethiopia.Ethoipia and Ethipians are undermined by the savagery of Meles and his army.
It is sad to see such news of fantasy spewed around on such revered website as Ethioreview. I understand that all of us who long for that day when all Ethiopians are free of dictatorial curse will greatly cherish news of incidences that will speed up the process of getting there. But a hotchpotch of fabricated or exaggerated news will do nothing but harm to the public morale as a whole. It is quite similar to those ones we used to hear in the 70’s and 90’s. EDU was rushing toward the capital and about to capture Mengistu and then in the 90’s OLF just brought out the biggest gun known to man from its secret depot and was aiming at Meles who was sitting still in the national palace. But neither did happen. Mengistu went on to kill hundreds of thousands of the cream of the country and Meles also was able to consolidate his power even more than before. I think the big gun got jammed and it was sabotage by the wicked Amharas who lived nearby as poor farmers in Wollega. What we gonna hear next? The gun has been unjammed (since those Amhara saboteurs were massacred afterwards) and some 60 liberators are rushing to the capital to capture Meles!!! I really hate to see such a revered website being desecrated by day-dreamers. This site is a waterhole for thousands and thousands of honest lovers of Mammy Dearest Ethiopia.
