Teddy Afro to be sent to the notorious Ziway Prison

The Woyanne regime in Ethiopia is going to send Tewodros Kassahun (Teddy Afro) to the notorious Ziway prison camp that is located in a remote part of the country, a prison official told Awramba Times.

Ziway is a not just prison. It is a torture camp where sadistic Woyanne prison guards can do any thing they want with prisoners. On top of that, no one comes out of Ziway healthy because of extremely unsanitary conditions and malaria infestation. It is a hell on earth where the most hardened criminals are sent to die or be broken down.

Meanwhile, Ethiopians around the world are mobilizing to help free Teddy Afro. In Washington DC, Ethiopians and Ethiopian-Americans in the area are planning to block the Woyanne embassy any time between now and December 15. On Monday, December 15 there will be a protest rally in front of the Woyanne embassy starting at 10 AM.

  2. Unless there is an armed struggle to oust these group of corrupt and crooked banditary from Ethiopia, they will always be there to do more harm to the Ethiopian people and the Ethiopian psyche. While patience is a virtue, but an extended patience is considered cowardece. Henceforth, its time to pick up everything you can to fight back.

  5. How cruel are these woyanne people!! Now they are restricting access to visit and providing food and other needs to Teddy as it was easier if he will be in Addis or Akaki prison. They are penalizing the Ethiopian people too as they know that we love Teddy!! May God remove this cruel government!!!

    6. ETHIOPIANS MUST STOP BLAMING WOYANE FOR OUR OWN WEAKNESSES!
    7. HODAM ETHIOPIANS MUST STOP COLABERATING WITH WOYANE.
    8. THE DISFUNCTIONAL OPOSITION PARLAMENT MUST WITHDROW AND GO HOME.

  7. Pray for him? You dont get it, do you? We can not free Teddy by prayer. Weyane spent 17 years in bushes and made a lot of sucrifice to get where they are now and fuck us in the a$$ for 17 years, and the only thing you can come up is a prayer?? Why dont we sit down, relax and see if Weyane can be replaced by evolution. After a million years that is!! What a bunch of crooks! Stand up and fight for your right if you want to see a free Ethiopia in your lifetime.

  9. Hopefully, the turn out will be to Tedy’s popularity level. I was highly disappointed by the previous turn out. Where are all his fans? Where are all the girls who were crazy about him/his songs? Honestly, I wish I was in DC.

By sending Teddy to the Ziway prison camp weyane did not want to delay the inevitable as it did to Prof.Asrat Weldeyes; Mamo wolde and thousands of Ethiopians who langushed and perished in weyane detention centers,secret holding dungons and prisons. The ziway detention camp is a make shift prison in a hot open field made out of old corrugated iron,tattered plastics and old army tents.The sanitery condition of the camp is disguesting and left by design to compliment the water born disease and the maleria infected compound. This will not be the last by the blood thristey enemy of Ethiopians unless we say enough is enough in unisom.

Seriouslly I really don’t want anything bad to happen to him, but if he real did it he has to face the law, how many poor young ethiopians going to prison ever single day who said anything for those hoples kids who got locked up. is there any one thought about for second the guy who got killed could be your father or brother ….. Just because teddy happned to be good singer doesn’t make him any diffrent than other, my poor ppl who are suffering day to day life, there are 12 and 13 years of kids staying over the night under the burige because the agazian serching there house in the middle of the nigh to trough them in jail. there are thousand of kids still in prison because of the 2005 incident, so some times life is not fair, God bless all my ppl and my country i am sorry if I make anybody offended

  12. I think Tedy Afro deserve that. After what he did with his songs; reminding the ethiopian people the misery and oppression they went through in janhoy time. He need that to be repeated, ahh no, he was supposed to use his talent singing love and the like music, not trying to be smart ass singer-politician. I wish he becomes disabled or die in ziway prison in oromo country.
