Aiga Forum, the website closely associated with Ethiopia’s intelligence services, just posted an emotional, tear-soaked, braggadocio-filled piece that appears to be the obituary of Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi.

The article titled “Meles ad Infinitum” was penned by someone using the pseudonym “Aesop.”  Aesop, incidentally, is the same author who wrote another piece a week ago calling Ethiopian Muslims mosquitoes.  That article was a prelude to the government crackdown on Ethiopian Muslims this past Friday.

In a thinly-veiled farewell to the best known son of Adwa who went on to terrorize  the nation of 90-million for the last twenty-one years, the author argues that Zenawi should be remembered for what he accomplished in “praxis” as as well as his one-time promise to step down peacefully.

  2. the author in aiga forum trying to tell us ethinic federalism is the right thing to do and meles got it right.it is very sad to get a person who think like this at this dna age.
    actually we are in the era of globalization where the world become one and people start to live where ever they want with out any discimination.
    ethinic federalism does not work even in countries there is clear dimarcation on ethinic line like iraq let alone in ethiopia where such thing never existed.
    i wonder how meles get it right.anyway your days are numbered and a day of truth coming.

  3. Aiga is telling TPLFites how to handle this incident and what to say when this death happens. Aiga, as in the past, is giving directions to the followers of Meles what should be considered his achievement. Aiga doesn’t want these people to say things like, “Meles is the golden child of Adwa, the great African leader or…the leader who will build a Dam over the Nile….”. Unfortunately for them all these are either not true or are premature.
    Even what Aiga considered an accomplishment of Meles, “stepping down peacefully” didn’t and will not happen. He was forced to leave office by death’ which is not new to leaders in Africa. In the end he was no different than other African dictators. Death has to happen for him to exit the palace.

  4. It is hard to belive woyane. They did this purpusly as they did announce the death of Isayas while alived. Never trust their action before you put a sanad and make sure he is dead. Meles is a servant and nothng but a good beagar. It will be a good readance if he stop breathing good for Ethiopia. We need to support the transition commitea that is established in diaspora at this time.

  5. You see when it comes to GOD himself, there is no mercey. For no reason at all WOYANE started to distroy and steal Ethiopian Orthodox church. Woyane killed generation and left the country naked of all its heritage, dignity and respect. At last started messing with ‘WALDIBA’. A bad move. It will paralize the entire thugs of WOYANE and more…Meles is already dead but now the time is here for all his supporters to face reality and come clean. LEAVE ‘WALDIBA’ ALONE!

  6. Eventhough it is not our culture to wish bad(death) to anybody, But for Meles, instead I wish him recovery, I just want him to stay where he is, and go forever from where he is…

    I can mention a lot of reason why I am cruel?

    HE KILLED MY UNCLE, LEAVING ALL MY COUSINS ORFAN.

    – HE IS THE WORST LIAR PM, I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE.
    – IN COOPERATING WITH WEST HE BLEED AFRICA.
    – HE IS WORLD KNOWN BEGGAR REGARDLESS HIS 11% GROWTH FOR LAST 10 YEARS
    WHICH IS AGAIN LIE.
    – THE ROADS AND BUILDINGS ARE BUILT BY AID (LOAN) MONEY.
    – HE IS A LOOTER, HE CAME WITH JUST A PEN NOW OWNS ALMOST ALL
    ETHIOPIAS MAIN COMPANIES WITH HIS WIFE.
    – HE IS EVIL RACIST,MANUPLATIVE, WHO UFFER WITH INFERIORITY COMPLEX…

    I can write forever about this blood sucker, I feel blessed that finally GOD (ALLAH) get him. and hopefully he will send him where he deserve it. AMEN.

  8. It looks like Meles’s writing his own obituary before his illness gets bad and then posted by one of his servants or his wife Azeb. the article lacks honesty just like Meles. For instance take Tedros’s comparison with Meles, is this TPLF idiot is saying Meles has the wisdom and courage of emperor Tedros? remember emperor Tedros had declared war on slavery and he is the first Ethiopian leader who had a salary payed military for the first time including he also tried to separet religion and government. Specially the peasant was freed from fear of the military. It was emperor Tedros who started the modernization of Ethiopia then the wise king Menelik the Adiwa hero followed Tedros’s idea of modernization of Ethiopia. If we see Meles he knows only how to destroy modernization for instance look the current Ethiopia’s internet reach and Meles guided modern slavery of Ethiopian women upto 45,000 per month to the middle east alone. It is sad really. Meles’ fighting spirit or courage is known by everyone by now, so the comparison is nonsense as we all heard from his jungle days friends Meles was not borne with a lion’s heart rather he was borne with a chickens heart and donkey’s brain even he did not care for his legacy he just cared for his power control at any cost just like the greedy donkey. He will be remembered he was not only he had a fear of bullets sound rather anything that is loud sound for that go back and watch youtube how he reacted after Abebe’s furious shout. For Ethiopia Meles will be remember just like a bad habit, For instance if we take the size of Ethiopia when Meles took power from Mengistu Ethiopia was over 480,000 square miles size, with 1000 killometers or 625 miles sea coast now you tell me where you place Meles, to most of Ethiopians Meles will be remembered just as the worst self appointed 21st ignorant and rude leader. Ethiopians will remember him as a bad marriage ending with a bad divorce. From this end even though death is not fun thing for the benefit of 85,000,000 Ethiopians I wish if you do the fastest exit from this world, so I say farewell to cruel Meles, be brave man. Be ready what you are going to anser for your maker when you join under 6 feet your victims such as young Shibire, Nebiu, Asefa Maru, Doctor Asirat etc it will not be easy to flip flap as you did on life while you were living under the roof of Menilik palace after you are gone for good the palace you lived and your wife Azeb will be someone’s who is one of your nearest and dearest friend properties. As you know under 6 feet you will be fighting for yourself with out Agazi so be tough and strong.

    You are great, the mosquito Legess Zenawi is probably dead. I read the Aiga forum article. Only an illiterate would right such type of words. No Megeba, Hateta or Medemdeyea. It is amazing with all the educated and capable Ethiopia all over the World. We are ruled by these Adewa peasant. They try to tell has Legesse Zenawi has a correspondence MA degree and he was smar. In the kingdom of the blind a one eyed man is a king.

    Ethiopian had 40% inflation it mean negative economic growth, TPLF boast that I have brought prosperity. What a sham.
