Al Amoudi’s private investigator has called me today to inform me that he has a legal paper to give me and that I have to meet him in person to receive it. I received the same paper by email. It’s from DLA Piper lawyer Mary E. Gately. It states:
As you know, DLA Piper is counsel to Sheikh Mohammed Hussein Al Amoudi. We also represent Jemal Ahmed with regard to a defamatory article you published on March 29, 2012 on the website Ethiopian Review (ethiopianreview.com) titled “Al Amoudi’s Human Trafficker in Ethiopia identified.”
The letter demands:
1. immediately remove the Article, and any other iterations of it, from the website
ethiogianreview.com or any other website, internet posting, or public source;2. immediately cease and permanently desist from making the false and defamatory
statements made in the Article; and3. publish on ethiopianreview.com a full apology to our clients.
If you fail to take these steps by April 11, 2012, we will have no choice but to pursue all applicable legal remedies available to our clients. We reserve all of our clients’ rights related to the publication of this defamatory Article.

Why do not we organize a demonsration against this DLA Piper infront of their office and expose them to the american public like we did with the Saudi Arabia, Libanon Embassy.

I do not understand what is wrong with these lawyers because if they knew Amharic and listen the Amharic audio what Alamudi was saying in the audio you Elias posted I am sure these so called lawyers would advise Al Amoudi. First of all, this moron does not know what Muslim brotherhood is and how it changed over time. There are many version and now Muslim brotherhood is in Egypt and Syria too. This is not the enemy of christianity. Christians lived in Arab countries and as long as they don’t work for outsiders they are safe. I think you need to act professionally in responding to the letter rather than criticizing to get credibiltiy. You shouldn’t make it “he said, she said” and in bickering mode. Why don’t you consult with your lawyer and reply properly in a professional manner? I hope you don’t think I am attacking you but it is good when you act professional and makes you more credible.
As for DLA Piper, it is a very powerful law firm that helps dictators all over the world. What an irony, on one hands, the West goes anti-islam and anti terrorist, but when it comes to money they collaborate with them, what hipocracy. Heck, Clinton Foundation got millions from Alamoudi of course it is obvious what Alamoudi will get in return. So if anyone thinks Alamoudi doesn’t have power in the West, think again. But how contradictory, his cousin is in jail for supporting Al-Qaeda. When Alamoudi also won lawsuit in England, it is because he is part of the elite that brings in stolen money from poor countries such as Ethiopia and deposit it in “rich men’s club” in England. Where do you think the Meles money goes to?

Are you kidding? Alamoudi is the surrogate of Weyane. They work hand in hand. They are partners until the time comes when Weyane will go after Alamoudi as they did with the past business people. I think Alamoudi is part Eritrean or Tigrean so I think he is part of the click therefore, TPLF will not go after him. Maybe after TPLF unites with Shaebia then they have back up. For now, Alamoudi and TPLF are backing eachother and will not go away. Besides, Alamoudi is proabalby more powerful than TPLF. It is possible Alamoudi is campaigning for TPLF in the world that is probabaly why West and Arabs are in full support with TPLF. Alamoudi is next to kin with Saudi royals which are very much allies with the West therefore, if anyone goes after Alamoudi, the West will go after you to protect the Saudi Royals who are allies. Ayee this great country America will soon come back and not associate the likes of Saudis.

These thugs from back home will not rest until they silence any voice of discord be it in Ethiopia or any where. That is why I very much suspect the recent coordinated certain Ethiopian Muslims or pretending to be Ethiopian Muslims on recent Ethio sites by campaigning pro Islam such as the OLF member Jawar, most OLF heads are Muslims, Wollow Muslims, etc, are being radicalized. I think TPLF and Alamoudi are campaigning for pro Islam in Ethiopia and mobilizing the peaceful Ethiopan muslims. I do think that the recent video of Alem Dechasa’s abuse shown internationallly is not accident either. I think someone is trying to send message for Ethiopian people that we are “check-mated”.

If you play by the rule, you shall win the case as Al-Amoundin did in London against Elias. I bet you guys will organize a rally against the Verdict if it happens to be in favor of Al-Amoudin. My advice to you guys is that, do not fuel the emotions to his/Elias’s demise, tell him to contain his anger and consolidate his defense. I doubt the Saudi Royals will just watch you indicting Alamoudi. I think you are taking this lightly. If you affect Alamoudi so are the Saudi Royals. The Saudi Royals will just pick up the phone in the West to take action. Are you kidding. I think you guys need to think outside of box that there is a whole of can of warm we will be opening against us if Alamoudi is indicted.
Alamoudin should not be afraid of criticism, if any, if he is a genuine and honest person beyond reproach. He is shooting himself in the foot by his bullying and issuing threats everytime his name is mentioned on the internet.
