  1. hahahaha, You have so many dreams Elias, I’m not sure when you going to wake up and start to see the reality. For now, keep dreaming and fool some loser diasporas like you.

  2. Well, it’s long due. Go to talk but need to turn to action soon. With leaders like Dr. Brhanu N Ethiopia would be a great country. All the best, stay strong and unite and stand like one people. Love and peace to Ethiopia.
    Love Abishu

  3. If we can’t have it easily let’s just dream about it. If we are not able to contribute as much as Elias Kifle, these ugly weyanes will stay on power for a longer time. What a pity!

  4. Best wishes Elias. The time to remove Meles was yesterday. It is long over due and sadly, the mad man is armed to his teeth. The question is, how can the opposition leaders educate and inform the non-woyane soldiers and policemen to fight for their people and country than serving the homegrown enemies of Ethiopia that are selling Ethiopia piece by piece and letting millions of Ethiopians starve to deaths.

  5. There will be no more delay!

The Ethiopian people have waited patiently for such a long time for some extraordinary thing to happen. Within twenty years, they have seen misery followed by another misery, famine followed by another famine, diversion of donated food into buying political supporters, Woyanne politicians turning their deaf ears to the dying of little babies in the arms of their mothers, senior Ethiopian diplomat, Ambassador Abdirashid Dulane, refuting human rights abuses in Ethiopia by the Woyanne regime, and several Ethiopian farmers being evicted from their homes and resettled somewhere else.

They have seen the Egyptians bringing their Dictator Husin Mubarak, his two sons, and some others to justice; they have seen the people of Egypt demanding their new military government more and more political reforms, more and more Egyptian authorities connected to the old Mubarak to be removed from their old offices and be punished without any further delay.

They have seen more than enough bloodshed in Darfur, Yemen, Libya, Syria, and especially in Ethiopia; therefore, the Ethiopians are saying that there will be no more delay for a regime change in Ethiopia, that there will be no more delay to bring Meles and his gang squad to justice, that there will be no more delay to avenge the deaths of thousands of Ethiopians who perished in the bloody hands of Meles Seitanawi (Zenawi) in the streets of Addis Ababa, Gondar, Oromia, Ogaden, and in the streets of many other Ethiopian cities, towns and villages, and there will be no more delay to bring down Jezebel (Azeb Mesfin) from the Menelik Palace to the lowest and dirtiest place – the Qaliti Jail – to handcuff Al Amoudi and to charge him for money laundering and for abusing the young Ethiopian girls.

Indeed, there will be no more delay the few Amharas, the few Oromos, the few Tigreans, and the few other Ethiopians who collaborated all these years with the Dictator Meles and dragged Ethiopia into a bloody war with Eritrea and Somalia will be heavily punished and sent to jail to rot there and die.

There will be no more delay for the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church to defrock Aba Paulos and restore the legitimate patriarch in exile or let the Ethiopian Christians decide whether they want the return of their former patriarch or they want to nominate another young Ethiopian monk to be the new patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church. The Synod of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahido Church must be followed on the appointment of a new patriarch.

Of course, there will be no more delay to bring back our seaports, our fertile lands awarded to Sudan out of fear of border conflict between Sudan and Ethiopia, and to restore Wolkait-Tegedie and some parts of Wollo to their legitimate provinces. There must be no delay to return to Gondar the tons of soil taken from Gondar to Mekelle without the permission of the people of Gondar.

There will be no more delay for the destruction of Kilil, government ownership of lands, trade, factory, and the exploitations of the Ethiopian young girls in the Arab world and the sell of thousands of Ethiopian babies to foreign human traffickers.

For sure there will be no more delay for assessing the relevancy of building a huge dam at this time in point while millions of Ethiopians are dying of hunger each year, and there will be no justification for purchasing 200 of Ukraine tanks with over $100,000,000 from the Ethiopian tax payers’ money instead of feeding the hungry and dying Ethiopian children with that huge amount of money. Are we going to war again with Eritrea or Somalia? What is the main purpose of spending this much money on tanks that we will not be able to repair them if they get broke?

By any means, there will be no more delay for Ethiopia to call and bring together her children scattered all over the world to build new roads, to repair the old ones, to teach the other Ethiopians valuable skills, to treat the patients, to run and defend the country, to discover and manage her resources and to distribute the wealth of the country equally among all her children – Christians, Jews, Muslims, animists, ቅማንትስ, and others.

Those of you Ethiopians hiding in the caves, in the crevices, in the wilderness, in London, Paris, Washington and in many other places, I have good news for you: THERE WILL BE NO MORE DELAY for your country to be liberated from her oppressive Woyanne government; therefore be ready to go back to your mother land, Ethiopia and help your country sincerely and faithfully.

  6. Fellow Ethiopians, the agenda & Ethiopians single demand from now on has to be Meles most go, specially. now that our progressive forces are unitied to stand together and make changes on the ground. It should be a simple task.

We have to make Meles’s departure a global issue by putting shame on the West for supporting a dictator for over twenty years. We can do that by highlighting his 20 years of misrule. One way is by selecting some of his crimes against the Ethiopian citizens and make the tax payers of the West aware of how the aid has made the dictator a billionaire. List his wealth….his family’s wealth…

Then how about, all the genocide & crimes against humanity, the man made famine, etc….can fill the earth. If we can make the issue as regime change or Meles most GO, that at least will make him stop all his drama about Democracy, Development, Millinum Dam, Ozone layer & the Global climatic change and whatever he is up to these days! We have to make him lose sleep since he has kept our citizens under terrible conditions for so long.

Thank you Ato Elias and hope you will invite all the progressive forces to discuss and plan for a global march to the major capital cities of the donor nations.

God Bless Ethiopia & please protect her citizens from the dictator’s created famine.

  7. One needs to work much more harder behind the scene silently and gain solid understanding and solid networking, building solid trusts from the ground up and then go public with out meaning to feed sensitive information to the frightened tyrant’s oppressive machinery and help them to be forewarned and get prepared. Some plans and actions must be classified and secret for the purpose of denying predictability while offering preemptive moves for the opposition camp. As we see around, this world is a world of all possibilities and all opportunities and what the dehumanized Ethiopians need is to take up the challenge as to take back their their stolen freedom and dignities by all means possible. Any time is a good time. Democratic change is what we Ethiopians want! IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING! YES WE CAN! :)

  8. September 3, 2011, on the topic of “Removing and Replacing the dictatorship in Ethiopia.” ……..The meeting will focus on how to remove the regime and who to replace it with….ridiculous topic…childish and immature topic. I think when someone posts some sensitive issue topic like this,he/she should have to have the knowledge and understanding of different ethnic groups heartbeat.

Better to deal with topics of ” how to be one and undivided people…”,
“What are the most important factors that divide people from thinking like one nation…? and can we solve that” ,etc are main points to discuss than how to remove the dictator. Yene totolo bet gidigidaw senbelete ayinet neger…lezawm betu keteserra….ha..hhaaa

  9. this is a kind of meeting that we have been looking for…i will be there along with many friends to attend such a crucial meeting …hope the so called dc based eprp, mead and anti er gangsters will be attending the meeting if they have any valid question as they seen jumping up & down to attack er and other g7 strong oppostions….let them come if they have the gut to ask thier question in public rather than hiding behind computer like a coward rat to insult individuals….

  10. Yes, timly action. But make sure that all parties who are claiming to have stake in Ethiopia are invited and presenting their views and inputs. For those who think it is impossible to remove the current tyrant regime please tell them that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE ON THIS WORLD IF WE WORK hard. So far we all did not work hard and consistently as a unified force.

I will be attending this important meeting myself. See you all there.

  11. We need eachother now more than ever. Our people are dying more than ever.we must come togather.we must work togather. We are where we are today b/c we didn’t come togather and work togather. It is never too late to work togather.DEath To TPLF & Meles.God Bless.

  12. We need to be smart and strong, enough is enough.Since we do not have access to Internet,face-book or twitter. We Ethiopian abroad need to make phone call to all university, high school student, farmers and business owners to make peace full revolution.woyane thug can kill 100 Innocent people but I guarantee you they can not kill

1000 or 3000 people, the whole world would come down on these T.P.L.F thugs.

My brothers and sisters these is the time every one has to participate on these issue.

We need to support Mr.Elias Kifle 100%.

  13. Message to #8 Debebe:-Son of Listro and former cactus seller and now million-er stolen from Innocent Ethiopian people. We are all waiting the demise of “Woyane”…

  14. Economic boycott must be called soon. The cadres here must be followed where the stash the money they stole.

Hit Woyane where it hurts most. I will be there from across the country.

  15. #33 Concerned Ogadenian,
There is nothing wrong being a son of Listro and former cactus seller. I highly doubt that most of Woyanes and their supporters came from hard working self sufficient family. More like professional thieves and criminals who lack human decency.

  16. PLEASE!!!!, we need to tell (inform) those who who spend their life time with face book and others to get just 5 min. help organizing and posting this message, PLEASE!!!!!!!

  17. Comment12(anonymous)”It is almost impossible to remove this regime as long as the west is giving billions of dollars of aid every year”

iT SEEMS THAT YOU ARE LIVING IN YOUR OWN WORLD DOES THE MULLTI BILLION HELP AND AS THE NO ONE ALLY SAVE MUBARK TO HANG ON POWER? WOYANNE IS NOT ALLY RATHER A SLAVE APPOINTED BY A FORMER TOP CIA AGENT PAUL HINZE TO DISINTIGRATE ETHIOPIA;AND BEING REWARDED FOR ALL THE EVILS IT ACHIEVED AND WHEN THE TIME COMES IT IS NOT LIKE MUBARAK THEY WILL BE THE FIRST ONCE (SPECIALLY THE U.K )TO COME OUT WITH ALL THE ATTROCITIES WHICH IS NOW HIDDEN IN THEIR STORE OR GET THE BLIND EYE

  18. #39.Ahadu,

“Comment12(anonymous)”It is almost impossible to remove this regime as long as the west is giving billions of dollars of aid every year” you wrote

You are absolutely wrong and knwingly and unknowigly being pessimistic as to play in the hnads of the rejcted minority tyrants.
Remember that the united and determined good Tunisian and Egyptian people have planed, got organized and removed long ruling brutal dictatorial regimes in a matter of few days even though these regimes were being considered as special regional allies of the West with lots of financial, material, military, strategic, etc, generous wide open supplies. A conscious and united people will transform even the most entrenched totalitarian tyranny. IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING! The West is NOT helping Meles but their own interests. And as long as you will not against their interests they will also gladly help you with open hands even more than the illegitimate minority tyrants after you have transformed the brutal system in to a pluralistic democratic system.

Get over your defeatist and pessimist melancholy and go to the town hall meeting in order to contribute and make a difference a meaning out of your life and the life of all of that suffering 80 million Ethiopians. We have nothing to lose except our 20 long years of unending misery.

  19. Dear Elias, I appriciate your motivation.
We all love the regime change, but it may not be as simple as you and some naive guys over there thinking. Lets differentiate Fantasy from Reality, otherwise the goal will be far to reach.

  20. #44.Genenew,

Cry for your master just like Mubarak’s cadres cry for the tyrant but for the already excluded and impoverished struggling is reality that brings tangible changes even within few days. The people have nothing to lose except their own poverty and shameful suffernce under criminal inhuman dictatorship. You sound as a planted secret agent trying to buy time for the dictator as if 20 long years is not enough. Any time is a right time! IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!

    አንበርብር ነኝ :)

  21. Why not, the egiptions, yemenis, all arais did it why not the ethiopian, asaferen malet alebin, it is sahme for our generation to wotch this shameless regime do mathing. Wegene tenesa i will be there

  22. I applaud those who took the initiative to take time to organize a town hall meeting. I will try my best to be there .
I also suggest to, rather urge the organizers to please refrain from any kind of discrimination against Woyane supporters from participating in the meeting . I know that we the Ethiopian diasporas are very disgusted by the hodam Woyanes living among us . But we should always remember Hodams are going to disert Meles Zenawi ther day when they stop geting their mini bites of left overs from Meles Zenawi . What I am trying to say is let us not pay the hodams any mind because if we do I think it may just do what the organizers didn’t intended to do – TURN OFF PEOPLE.

  23. Any kind of discussion is perfectly alright. My biggest worry is that we are really forgetting who we are. We are not arabs. The biggest mistake that put Ethiopia where it is today is the mistaken grasping of foreign ideology by the student movement in the 60’s. Why is it that we Ethiopians can’t come up with our own type of ideology. Why do we have to follow russians, chinese, arabs etc… The arabs think like one ethnic. they have identical culture. They even sing the same revolutionary songs. We are different guys. We shouldn’t wait to copy the arabs to have revolution. We shouldn’t follow anyone’s ideology. The Oromos, Amharas, Tigrayans etc… have their own types of ideologyies with in their cultures. I am not to discourage any meeting but I prefer a meeting that is focused on reality and not fantacy. Elias a tough one guy. He can only do so much. But our elites have to be creative. What are all the Phds doing. Stop being the tails and become heads. Ethiopia is a big country. It has its own culture, language, alphabet and beautiful people of all types. Ethiopia is missing one very critical element – reviving its own ideology. Until her children vow to revive the ideology that made Ethiopia, it will never be a country any more. It will continue to deteriorate. An opposition that has ideology will succeed. Our goal should be focused on changing a system that isn’t working and working towards implementing a system that creates good people. Right now we have a system that create a bad people. As long as we do not fight to change the system and don’t avoid focus on the people who run the system. We will never succeed. If we succeed to kill the or arrest the people who run the bad system, we will only end up bringing in the same dictators. So I say lets get focused and change course. We have been in the same gear for 35 years. Almost as old as I am. I mean it brothers and sisters. Lets not get old hear. Lets get together and revive our country. I love this united states like my country but our poor country needs us to stop BSing.
