Brave Ethiopians in London deliver big time today. They turned out in large numbers and stopped the Woyanne meeting that was planned to be held at the Imperial College. The police had no choice but to tell the Woyanne thugs to leave. They went to their hiding place, the embassy, humiliated and defeated. London is indeed a Woyanne Free Zone.

The police seem to outnumber the meeting participants.

    I agree with you we need to work together to get rid of woyane AND SHABIYA. Both Ethiopian and Eritrean people are suffering from dictators. They are both “liberators” turned opressors. There is no justification for one or the other alone to be considered tyrant. The people of both “countries” need freedom, justice, human right, democracy, free and fair election, and genuine economic development policy.

    I feel the pain when I hear an Eritrean dying in the desert or sea trying to get to Europe or Middle East as much as I feel it for an Ethiopian. There is no reason why our people can’t find freedom and economic opportunity in their own homeland. The resources are plenty. The problem is bad or repressive governance.

    Long live the people (Eritrea and Ethiopia). Down with the tyrant Meles and Esayas. Leadning a liberation movement doesn’t give you the right to own the people and the country as your personal property. Look at Mandela, the real and genuine liberation leader. Comparatively Meles and Esayas had never been real freedom struggle leaders. They were only seeking their own fortune at the expense of their gorrela fighters.

  23. Wow, Wow, another victory in London!!! Weyane got a bleeding nose in London again. Weyane is opportunist. It has been destroying bridges and transformers during its last 17 years struggle for independence for Tigray, and now it can not be the champion of Dams.

TPLF’s had planned to divide the diasporas, not to agree on supporting and pumping in every necessary aspects that the oppositions at any face not to gain strength and support the acceleration of the down time of the Melse’s regime. For that by the way, they are successful. As of today in most large state, they are getting a good hand full members to support them not understanding what is going on around but for the sake of what they are offering toward the difficulty situation of living in US or abroad.I heard most were saying “Hodam”!     I love the protest but let us not create ourseleves and Ethiopia more problems by protesting for other countries. Let us first free ourselves. We can’t even free ourslevels let alone condemning other nations dictators. It is not our business! We should protest against TPLF Junta for Ethiopians within its borders. Sudan is not our business, Eritrea is not our business, Somalia is not our business, etc. we should refrain talking or condemning publicly especially other country’s leaders, like the picture showing above Mubara, Gadaffi, etc.. with Meles. We are puttig our selves into more complicated situations. I also read some articles that people right condemning other leaders and concern for entire Africa, etc… We have to free ourselves against the injustice happening within Ethiopia before we talk about other Afrian nations. Yebtwan awerdalehu bila yebibitwan talech!

    Let us clean our yard first complicating our cause with other nations. Ufff, nerve racking.

  46. This shows how Londoners are organized and not persuaded by Weyane or TPLF. One must ask questions why N. American Ethiopians are weak? What is going on? what about in the rest of Europe? My thinking is that, in U.S TPLF may have strong support among U.S government it means it is using its money to influence our host nation. We must do better than that!

  48. The cancellation of TPLF’s meeting in London at Imperial College yesterday is a simple justification of what a unified voice can do. Yes Woyane BEKA! TPLF has been ruling the country for the past 20 years unlawfully. TPLF fears the revolution that took place in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya, would continue in Ethiopia and I can sure Woyane/TPLF, on the behalf of the youth of Ethiopia, it is happening and our way to freedom is not far. Woyane knows this perfectly well, and is trying to devise a plan to divert our struggle for freedom by saying they would put a dam to stop River Abay flowing to Egypt. How many of these falsifications we heard so far??? Who forgets about Badimey? It is obvious that Woyane has only put the country to a much worse condition in terms of health, education, employment over the past 20 years. What is presented in the name of transformation plan is another one of his propagandas. We are simply fed up of living in poverty and inequality. We have seen enough and we heard enough. The message is simple-BEKA! It is way over time for Woyane and need to leave as it doesn’t represent the multi-cultured and respected Ethiopia. I call up on all Ethiopians; men and women; the youth and elderly; regardless of race, religion or sex to UNITE and put an end to Meles Zenawi’s dictatorship to embrace and practice FREEDOM, DEMOCRACY,LIBERITY AND JUSTICE in our own country.
