The Patriarch of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Church, His Holiness Abune Merkorios, has been admitted to the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after getting ill. Sources close to the Patriarch told Ethiopian Review that he is responding to the treatment and that he is recovering well.

I hope he will do well. Otherwiese the exile sinode should be ready to appoint another energetic, knowledgable and dependebal patriaric. They should not leave us with Aba Gebremedhin although he will leave this earth where he committed to much atrocities soon.

We united to fight the enemies from without now we destroy that which we have fought to save, not realizing that the Enemies are still waiting for the right time to finish that which they did not accomplish through out history.
