Ali Mohammed’s family and friends, in collaboration with Ethiopian civic groups in the Washington DC Metro Area, are holding a candle light vigil at corner of 9th and U Street tonight starting at 6 PM.
Ali, a young Ethiopian man, was savagely beaten and murdered by the owner of DC9 Night Club and 4 of his employees (read more here).

በግፍ መገደሉን በዜና ማስራጫዎች መዘገቡ ይታወቃል።
ገዳዮቹም ፍርድ ቤት ቀርበው በዋስ መለቀቃቸውና የተከሰሱበትም የግድያ ወንጀል አይነት ዝቅ እንዲል መደረጉ ፍርዱ ፍርደ ገምድል የሚሆን አካሄድን
ያመላክታል።
ይህን ፍርደ ገምድል አዝማሚያ ለመቃወምና ለዓሊ አህመድ ቤተሰቦች አለንላችሁ በማለት ከጎናቸው ለመቆም ዛሬ ማታ በተዠጋጀው የሻማ ማብራት

I am very much sorry for what has happened to Ali. What so ever the reason is it is unthinkable for a man to be killed by groups of people who can catch him and deliver to legal action. Compounded with the place where he is killed is the center of the state , DC, it is very worse te hear. After all I really appriciate the peoples idea and action to express opposition of the legal action peacefully
