Workneh Gebeyehu
The head of Ethiopia’s notorious Federal Police, Workneh Gebeyenu, is currently in Washington DC. He has been observed at some Ethiopian restaurants socializing and partying.
Workneh Gebeyehu is a mass murderer who had executed Meles Zenawi’s order to gun down pro-democracy protesters in 2005.
Workneh is personally responsible for the June and November 2005 massacres of pro-democracy protesters in Ethiopia. He was also in charge of building the Nazi-type concentration camps in Zeway, Bir Sheleko, Denkoro Chaka, Shoba Robit and other regions of Ethiopia where close to 100,000 young Ethiopians were rounded up detained by the Federal Police following the May 2005 elections. Many of the detainees have been savagely tortured and exposed to diseases such as malaria.
Ethiopian Review is working to identify the whereabout and travel itinerary of this monster criminal so that appropriate legal actions can be taken against him.

Elias! thanks for where about this murderer; however, Meles and his other murderers can’t be doing what they are doing with out “the green card” permission and support of the state department. The ONLY people that are allowed to be murdered and mehime in the darkest continental are Ethiopians be it then and now. When innocent Eri-Ethiopians were slaughtered in the 1998-2000 for the reasons that is only to Meles and the state department they were drinking champain along the Ethiopian embassy in DC; when innocent Ethiopians were slaughtered in front of the door step of all NGO’s and other organizations they were molesting innocent Ethiopian children; when innocent children of Somalia and Ethiopia are being slaughtered in Somalia they are still molesting Ethiopian children with out any hesitation. I think there is a stong case to pursue a legal action against the federal police commissioner here in the American court system. According to many international human right organizations, EU election observers team, many local civil and political organizations and the post 2005 election violence investigating commission’s report during and after the massacre, the federal police is the main player in committing these horrendous crimes against innocent civilians. Since Commissioner Werkineh is the head of federal police during the massacre and according to Meles’s marshal law which was declared on the eve of the massacre he was directly getting the order to massacre defenseless civilians from his supervisor pm Meles. The crimes of his subordinates under his watch are well documented with video, picture and by public eye witness .Family members of the victims of federal police’s crimes who reside in the USA have a right to file criminal charge against the commissioner in US courts. I don’t know about his diplomatic immunity but that can be striped off if there is sufficient evidence that he involved with these horrendous crimes against humanity. Al Basher’s case needs to be closely followed and studied.
