By totally decimating the peaceful opposition parties in Ethiopia — with financial backing from the World Bank and technical assistance from China — Meles and gang may have thought that they have demoralized and killed the fighting spirit of Ethiopians. From the large demonstration we have seen today, Ethiopians are regrouping and ready to fight stronger and more aggressively than ever with new strategies, tools, and leadership.

For any dictator/him, a sudden demand by the people (West-initiated or not), for power sharing with all the real oppositions inside or outside the country or the idea of leaving the country/retirement in exchange for his or for the safety of his familys, so that a real democracy can finally be institionalized in Ethiopia, is a nightmare which drives (anyone) him up the wall/crazy.
That is why Mr. Zenawi is working 24/7 to stay in power at all cost. The meathods…., ranging from burning of villages in the country side to stationing of Agazi sharp shooters in the steets of Addis Abeba and to seeking support from China to jam radios and satillite tv stations.
Most recently, one notices the sending of cadres overseas to either silenace the oppositions or to create division among “ethnic fronts” so that they don’t join the fight for united ETHIOPIA.
Some of the solutions are for All the oppositions (internal or external) to unite and force the tyrant to respect the rule of law, if not to design a set of strategy for the country (inside or from outside) and to create an environment which is no longer conducive for one man rule, by demanding freedom for Bertukan, free election, free press, freedom of association, etc…..the basic universal freedom & human rights we Ethiopians are deprived of in the 21 century.

This time, I strongly believe, we are going in a good direction to dismantle dictators in Africa in general and in Ethiopia in particular. China is known to support the existence of dictators, giving them to abuse basic human rights that shouldn’t exist in the 21 th century. Chinese need to understand we are nocking their door unless they stop supporting primitive dictators in the world.
Ethiopians in diaspora are showing wonderful strategies to put pressure on woyane including the recently developed ESAT TV program which I believe has given a big challenge to woyane.
In the mean time, I acknowledge vibrant and smart Ethiopian Diasporas who created new angles of struggle against woyane. I strongly believe that they will create additional approaches or ways of struggle against woyane.
Last but not least, I would appreciate all Ethiopians who showed your hands in todays demonstration in China embassy in Washington DC. It is really so lovely and encouraging. It has witnessed that Ethiopians will follow leaders if they see bright strategies that can bring change in Ethiopia.

Those who tirelessly worked to organize such a demonstration have not only to be appreciated but also supported in terms of sustaining the momentum now being gathered as a result of this successful event.
The fact that the Chinese embassy was targeted is also a timely act; however, the actual god fathers of this racist tplf clique rest elsewhere in certain Western power centers; and as such, those elements that have been supporting the tplf mercenary state for decades have to be exposed and challenged accordingly.
Activists in other major capitals of the West are expected to organize such demonstration to keep the spark of the moment going and spreading.

I support the protesters and more power. When they protest they should include the following slogan to embarass Weyane: “Meles is anti Ethiopian! Meles sold our land to Sudan, Egypt and to East!
