This is a good start. But, the Horn of Africa needs a lot more than prayer to the Divine and some human good will. Folks, if Eritrea and Ethiopia could not see the promising light and decide to work together for mutual advantage, then, I am afraid nobody else will.
In addition to prayer, it requires ACTION! It seems like Pente Costal believers do no believe in action when it comes to a nation and believe only go can unravel it but that is a huge mistake because god helps to those that help themselves.
completely agree with weqaw
At the same time fundraising for our fighters would be in order.
If Samuel Degu Kebede is an Ethiopian citizen or a citizen of any other country with Ethiopian origin he should well aware that we have our own huge problems before we extened our prayer to the bogus “horn of Africa”. This is to me an extension of the failed “horn of africa conference” instigated by foreign powers to diminish Ethiopian nationalism. The conference failed misearably and this so called pastor’s attempt will fail as well. Long live Ethiopa!! Red sea is the boundary of Ethiopia!!
Pray but don’t close your eyes, see all the options.I dont think God wanted the Horn of Africa to be in a mess, this is purely the result of unwillingness from the side of the Leaders and as well to the public in part.Let us pray while doing the right thing we are supposed to do.I don’t dought we are the #1 interms of the haurs we spent praying.Let us pray little and do a lot.
