  1. This is wonderful, way to go for Hanatzeb Gallery, a very unique Ethiopian owned business that can play vital role to showcase our bright side. God bless you.

  2. The arts festival that took place in April 18, 2010 at Hanatzeb Art Gallery of Atlanta was a wonderful show. The festival played a significant role in supporting the most talented young artists, writer, and cultural vitality of the Ethiopian community in surrounding cities.I was really impressed by well-rounded experience that included refreshment, Ethiopian dresses fashion show, music,African drums, and savory foods and more. I encourage the Hanatzeb Art Gallery to organize shuch kinds of festival every year.Because it will educate the community about the arts, and celebrates the importance of the community’s culural life and its sense of place. It was by far on of the most enjoyable show tha I ever attended.

  3. Ethiopian Artist – Painting

    Hi,

My wife and I toured Ethiopia for two months from 12 Jan to 11 Mar 2011.

On this trip as on previous ones, we searched for a memento to display in our home which would remind us of the country and its people.

We were about to give up until we saw this stunning painting adorning the hair dressing salon in the Addis Ababa Boston Day Spa. We enquired about the artist.

The next day we visited Teklemariam Zewde’s studio and selected a superb painting depicting a scene of the Evandagi dance. The painting is now hung in our home and constitutes the piece of resistance in our living room, a great conversation piece.

I built a website to show some of his work and to promote the paintings he holds in his studio that need to be seen.

We fell in love with the awe-inspiring paintings and with the artist.

The following link contains photos of his work. Enjoy!
